Nina did such a great job grooming little Brook and little Teddy! They smell so good, and look excellent. Their nails are trimmed and blunted, teeth brushed, bathed and brushed and glands expressed. both of them look lie super stars. Most importantly, they were in good spirits when we came to pick them up, as nina treated them with such care! Thank you so much!

Thank goodness for this place and their BYOD bath option. Staff were so helpful. And there are plenty of treats to bribe the pup w pre or post bath.

Brought my 6 months old puppy for a nail trim. Great experience, very quick and gentle, he had no reason to be scared or upset. Also incredible price -- $4 per paw (my own manicure costs a little more :) ). Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I scheduled my dog for a bath and grooming. They called and said they had to cancel her appointment bc they were short staffed. I said no problem and happily rescheduled. The new appointment day came and we in the car on our way when I got a call 15 minutes prior to the appointment time that they had to cancel again because of short staffing. I was obviously frustrated with the lack of heads up but said ok, we can reschedule again. I asked for a discount on our visit since I had now scheduled two different days around this appointment, traveled in the car to the appointment and wasted time and money. Not only did they refuse any benefit but the owner wouldn't even take the time to talk to me when I asked to speak with them. I said they could call back another time and they refused to call back as well. Putting a customer out two times and not offering even an apology is pretty awful.

Had the best experience at BYOD today, specifically with one of the employees Jenna. My dog is petrified of getting her nails clipped and was visibly uncomfortable entering the store. Jenna took extra attention, time and care to help my nervous pup. She went above and beyond and even offered to work with us moving forward to get my dog more comfortable with the whole process. I’m so impressed and grateful for this experience and Jenna kindness. Highly recommend!

Jay the manager fail to call back to confirm appointment. Then said next appointment was following Thursday. And did not try to fix her error. . I thought that was poor business relation. Be aware.....

Can’t say enough positive things about this place. Showed up with a wet 120lb Newfie, w cut on her foot that was dripping blood on her paw prints. Suffice to say, we were a mess and quite embarrassed.Despite all that, they were EXTREMELY accommodating and sympathetic. Cleaned up and sanitized the mess we made, helped advise me throughout the dog wash, and they had everything we needed — Big tubs, good quality shampoo/conditioner, high powered dryer, leave in conditioner, eye wipes, etc.Finally, a fantastic value. Well worth the effort to save $130 on a pro-groomer once in a while.

I was MORTIFIED at the state of my dogs nails when I brought her in for a trim and was so embarrassed I had let them get as long as I had. They were so nice and reassuring. Did a great job with my completely spastic pup- I have never seen her be so good for a groomer before.

Great staff and process to clean your pups in your own. I have not gone to the actual groomers here. Staff is super helpful and always a pleasure working with.

Disappointed! The review is good so me and my dog went there for the DIY wash service. They just can’t wait to close the store, said we can’t use the air dry at around 5:20. Therefore my dog left the store in her soggy style.

The staff at BYOD is fantastic! I have gone to this shop on multiple occasions with my overly dramatic Shiba Inu and the team is just phenomenal and so patient when it comes to trimming his nails. The service is amazing and the variety of food, supplies and toys is great too!

Love this place. Relative to other places in Boston, like places in the south end, this place is cheap. Good place to get your dog's nails trimmed and there are lots of great treats for dogs you wouldn't necessarily find elsewhere.

Indoor dog washing/drying. You can't beat that. Staff is always great and helpful. Love that I can go there without an appointment and be in and out in 20 min with a clean dog!
