Great Spa I brought my German Shepherd Malamute Mix for grooming she was stinky! She is well behaved but I guess she did a little running around the place and opened a few doors on her own! They were very nice and explained how silly she was and that she had everyone chasing her.After her deshed and bath she felt and smelt like a whole new dog. I honestly didn't realize how badly matted her fur was by the skin until after her spa treatment it's much easier now to check her for ticks and I can actually feel her skin when I'm scratching her before it felt like unbearable layers of deep fuzz. My dog was very Happy she feels and smells amazing now definitely going again and more often it made a huge difference with her coat and she doesn't shed as badly!

This place is the best! They set the standard in customer service and are so lovely to the dogs. I trust them as much as my family or more with our dog. Auggie loves coming here and they’ve helped my 11 year old dog with pretty sensitive skin to improve so much over the years. I come here every 3-4 weeks cuz our lab retriever loves it so much.Same staff, same owners. This is one of the most well run small businesses I’ve ever worked with and would recommend to all.

Dogspa is amazing; we’ve been bringing our dogs here for the better part of 20 years (and 6 dogs). The staff is first class, the facility is clean and well-stocked, and the prices are very competitive, particularly if you have a dog whose coat requires regular maintenance. The groomers know what they’re doing and take the time they need to ensure all grooms are to breed standard. It may sometimes take longer than other places, but they use the most current tools and the best products keep your pet comfortable and as stress-free as possible. They also work hard to accommodate special requests and last minute appointments. Is it perfect? No - but it’s pretty damn close.

The dogspa is a very friendly clean and pleasant experience to bring your pets to get groomed. My boy Cody who's in a wheelchair is treated with respect and dignity and with kids gloves every time he goes when we leave there he practically prances in his wheelchair you can't go wrong going here and the prices are competitive and reasonable

For the price, this is going to be your best option for grooming in the area. We tried a lot of the local options but got recommended by a friend to go here.Our dog comes home smelling so much better than when she came home from other groomers.They do big dogs and small dogs, and have the nicest staff

AMAZING!!! The team at DOGSPA is awesome. We brought our 16W old pup (ZERO) in for the Spa Treatment :)Honestly, couldn't be happier...from the moment you walk in they are ready and waiting for you (based on your appointment). They were incredibly accommodating and were genuinely happy to see our pup.I can't imagine there is a better place for your pet to be treated like a King or Queen...the results were 5 STAR!!!

This grooming spa is fantastic. It says spa but the prices are reasonable and competitive. I have been coming here for 17 years. Knowing that my dog is safe, well treated, and comes out adorable is why I don't want to change. The grooming area is all glass so you can see your dog as he is being worked on. This is the place to go for treats and food as well! I highly recommend them. The owner Ruth is doing it right here!

Went to this location 3 times. The first two were excellent. However, this 3rd time, I was not informed that the groomer I booked with quit. Then, my dogs nails were cut so short they were bleeding. When I specifically requested only a little dremel is needed since we groom our dogs regularly and they walk on pavement. In fact, I've never seen my dogs nails cut this short in his entire life of 7 1/2 years. Next, they didn't even tell me they cut into his quick. They are short staffed, over booked, and keep your dog hours longer than necessary. Such a huge disappointment. The way they should be handling their lack of staffing is to turn away new clients. It's all about the money, not the dog. Buyer beware. Too bad the good help left. Almost forgot to add, my dog had no water when he was there. He drank a large bowl when he got home. He's more sedated then I've ever seen him in my life. I'm actually concerned they drugged him. He has several mats in his coat and I had to trim him more. He arrived with no mats, because I brush him myself and left with mats. I'm so infuriated, and scared for my dogs health. The owner is snarky and rude, as well as the receptionist. This place is terrible. Not sure if other people actually pay attention to their dogs after they've been here, because I can't begin to understand how anyone can give them 5 stars. Let alone risk their dogs health and safety. Wish I paid attention to the previous posts about hope awful this place is.

They took great care of our puppy for his first grooming and all subsequent visits. He loves going there and he comes out looking amazing. They clip him like we want him clipped not how they think he should be, but are willing to give knowledgeable advice if requested. Love them.

Had a very disappointing experience here. I made my appt a month and a half in advance so I could have the 1st appt. of the day and not have my puppy have to stay in crates for a long period. They assured me I would be out by 10am. My groomer did not walk in until 8:20am and promptly stated “why are you all staring at me???”. Because you are late. Then they tell me to pick her up at 1pm and I say that is unacceptable since they promised 10am when I made the appt. The groomer promptly told me that I was given wrong information by the receptionist and told me the best she could do is 11:30. I walked in at 11:25am and they tell me that I was told 12:30pm, not 11:30am. Are you kidding me? 100% untrue. So I stood in the lobby waiting for 40 minutes, all the while, I can hear my dog crying. Never again…..

If I could give something less than one star, I would have. We have been bringing our dog to Dog Spa for a couple of years and didn't really have any complaints until recently.Shortly after a grooming appointment we noticed some fluid coming from the inside of our dog's ears. Not sure what was wrong with our dog, we brought him to the vet to find out what was wrong. The vet told us that his ears were fine, just that he had some cuts on the inside of BOTH ears that were oozing (hence the fluid) and had begun to scab over. I explained that we had just had our dog groomed a few days prior and to that my vet replied, "maybe you should talk to your groomer."My wife called Dog Spa, explaining what had apparently happened, that the groomer trimmed the inside of my dogs ears too close to the point where he got razor burn. The woman on the phone was so rude to my wife, calling her a liar, saying that we were just trying to get money out of them, etc. that it brought my wife to tears. This was the OWNER who was speaking to my wife... I'm sorry, but if it were about money, we certainly would NOT be bringing our dog to Dog Spa considering how overpriced it is.If this is how the owner, of all people, treats their long-time customers... then we will NEVER bring our dog back again, and we will make it a point to tell every dog owner that we know about our experience.

My wife and I LOVE Dog Spa. Erica does such an amazing job with our Newfie. When we moved out of the area for a year we had to take our dog to other groomers and none of them came close to the job Dog Spa does. Great value and he always looks and smells great. I highly recommend this place.

I took my dogs for grooming with the specific instruction how to do it. When I picked them up their faces were nearly touched. When I got home I noticed spots that was not groomed properly and my dogs did not smelled good as they weren’t even shampooed. Ever since my dogs been acting strange and very snappy, they were never like that it feels like I picked up different dogs. One of them is acting lot worse than my others and he has been throwing up and Foaming from his mouth, I’m taking him to vet and let’s pray to god nothing is wrong with him. I’m very disappointed and very scared for their heath.

You know your dog is in great hands at Dog Spa when they get excited to see the entrance to the store! He greets everyone who wants to say hi and just melts when he sees Erica, his groomer. Our Oliver is a Cocker Spaniel and needs to have the works done...wash, blow dry and a hair cut that keeps him looking like a Cocker Spaniel. That’s usually a four hour visit every four weeks! A long day for a little guy. Erica and her team do such a fantastic job on him. Show dog quality through and through. He is so beautiful and smells so good when we pick him up. Thank you Erica and your team for taking such good care of our baby boy!

Puja and I just love Molly! She always takes such good care of Puja and is so careful handling her. Molly's willingness and understanding with the history of her bad knees and multiple surgeries makes me feel super comfortable leaving her in such capable hands. All of the staff and the groomer Danny treated my shih tzu like a prince. Time was taken to make sure my dog got exactly what he needed, including lots of love during something that can be stressful for pets! And a price more reasonable than PetSmart. We will definitely be back!

BEWARE..Dog Handlers/Techs employed at the dog spa Beverly ma.are trained to cut into the quick when trimming your dogs nails..they tell you it's better for them to get the nail bed to recede...exactly like your own nail bed, its living tissue, nerve endings and blood vessels this is why they bleed, they tell you the dog only feels pressure,,veterinarians dont agree with this practice. BEWARE pet owners, they aren't attentive to your requests not to cut the quick,its no accident they do it anyway infact the dog handlers brag how many years they've been doing this as professionals. My dog bled on my tile floors,traumatized so that I had to comfort him through the night..pet owners be proactive for your loyal friends,and dont accept the lie they tell you..DON'T ALOW THIS HAPPEN TO YOUR PET,not even one time,they never forget..you must look carefully before cutting not every nail bed is the same length..this is exactly what I explained to the tech before they took my dog to the grooming area..Let me make this very clear, It was NO accident I'm disquessted with this practice and paid $15. To have it done...I expected caring professionals!!!

Sioux is a therapy dog who represents a non-profit program. She's in the public eye at health fairs, TV shows, etc. and likes to look her best. Even though I'm a grooming school grad, I take her to DogSpa and couldn't be happier with the service and the smiles she gets from all her "aunties" there.
