WOW! Sweet Lucys Bakeshop knows how to bake and then some! My wife and I used SLB for our wedding and we were bummed we didn't have the opportunity to taste test the cakes with our schedule, but the cakes were out of this world!We had trouble narrowing down our cake to just one and ended up having 4 cakes. There were some leftovers after our wedding and I don't think it all made it more than 2 or 3 nights on our honeymoon - I devoured all of it, with my wife's permission of course!Thank you so much for everything and making our celebration all the more special for us and especially our guests!I've now been able to visit the shop - it's the perfect spot to sit down and have a pastry or grab some sweets to go! I picked up a few cupcakes as well as some speciality pastries and they were fantastic! This will be a regular stop on my route home from Vermont from now on.

This was my first visit and faced a tough time choosing from their wide selection baked goods. I ended up with a Raspberry cornbread muffin and three more delicious treats. I will be back for more.

I mean! Come on! This place is incredible. We got the Almond Croissant, Bread Pudding, Pecan Sticky, Lemon Bar, and Chocolate Chip Cookie. So dang good! The staff is so sweet! We are excited to pass through again and try more sweets! Thank you for making our lives a bit sweeter today!

We stopped in on a whim. Glad we did! It was a quaint little shop! The lady that helped us out was really nice! We got some cookies, boy were they delicious! Really good experience all around and I'd recommend this bakery to anyone!

Sweet Lucy's is a must. My husband and I crave all the yummies even when we are not in town. I haven't had a disappointing treat yet. We even ordered desserts for our wedding that our guests are still talking about. Not only is the food amazing but Lucy and her staff are always delightful. They care about the food, you and this sweet little town. Pun intended.

My son goes to school with the owner whom I briefly met at a birthday party. I had never been and figured I'd stop by after dropping my son at school to grab a box of pastries for my office in Holyoke. They are amazing. My colleagues won't stop talking about them.

Excellent bakery! Warm atmosphere, friendly staff. The baked goods are amazing! I love the raspberry cornbread, brownies, and macarons! There are always some items made with no gluten ingredients for gluten avoiding people like me. I like to take their goodies with me as a gift when I travel to stay with friends. Everyone raves. Love this place!❤

Update September 2021 - To the management at Sweet Lucy's: as the COVID situation continues in our local area, please consider requiring your staff and customers to wear masks. I had a very unpleasant experience this morning at the shop when an unmasked customer was exiting the store through the entrance (not the designated exit) and shouted to staff members within 1-2 feet of my face (I was masked) and other masked customers in line. Considering most of your customers are wearing masks again, I think it would be respectful and considerate of your staff to also wear masks. It is a small bakery to begin with and social distancing may not be possible at busy times. As a loyal customer, I urge you to consider requiring masks again.*****So happy that we have this sweet bakery in the area as most bakeries around here have been so disappointing. I actually drive 30 minutes for their stuff because the quality is so good. The baked goods are always fresh and made in an artisan way. The donuts are amazing and it gives us something to look forward to each Thursday. I am writing this review because I really want this bakery to do well and last in our area.

Out-of-this world good, great selections, and super friendly, helpful staff. By far the best bakery we know. Run, don't walk -- you won't be disappointed. (Also charming location, with outside tables under trees.) We feel so lucky to live nearby. Thanks to Lucy and staff!

One word... Amazing!!!! Everything is local, it smells like a true old fashioned bakery, they make pastries, breads, treats that will make you weep. We were so lucky to find this gem right in 5 in Bernardston.

Friendly, caring and always open to suggestions or critiques of their offerings. Great quality in her wares and only disappointment is when they are sold out of something by the time we arrive.( the sticky buns).
