Best general store around! Some of the best sandwiches grinders and homemade hot food ready to go. Also have everything you're looking for. Staff is very friendly whenever I work in that area I stopped for lunch every time.

This is the cutest country corner store. I walk in and feel like I am miles and miles away from a city. I walk in and feel at home. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and kind. My favorite part is in the deli area they have these homemade meals and the portions are more than enough. They are about $5-$6 and worth it! My second favorite thing is the homemade baked goods for sale. It even tastes like home!

Wow, my family and I stopped here to get gas and lunch on our way to Vermont for vacation, boy were we pleasantly surprised! The sandwiches were delicious and the staff were all super friendly. My daughters literally asked if we could stop by on our way back home to get lunch again lol!

If you stop in, be sure to grab some of their legendary handmade burger patties. You can find thawed patties in the open refrigerator to the right as you walk in, or you can find frozen patties in the back. My personal favorite is the cowboy burger, though I liked the black and bleu (made with spices and bleu cheese; they no longer make it) even more. Having grown up in the area, when I visit home, I make a point of stopping by to stock up on frozen patties on my way out. The best burger I've ever had!

I often stop by for the delicious liverwurst sandwich on my twice-a-month drives from Connecticut to Vermont and back, always throwing in $6 for three $2 scratch tickets. Got a $40 winner and a $2 winner today, scratched off a $100 last year.
