This store is trash. I’ve never been happy with it and I never will be. It’s the only place close to me so I keep having to come back. I bought this yogurt on 04/24/24. And it’s already expired. It’s my fault for not checking . But I’m let down every time I come here . Every time . I had a maggot in my Bok choy one time. I had a fly in lettuce. And everything is marked up!! $2 or more than I would pay literally anywhere else. And this place has the worst quality products.

Always love stop n shop! I don’t like the set up, different than the ones in Rhode Island but I guess I will adjust well I slim it in Woonsocket until I can move! The gas stations hours on Google lie and/or the employees never open up on time!

While at the Bellingham store,my order was delivered to my car by a young lady who was training. Great job she did!!I asked if there was a way I could request no bags. She was unsure ,but would find out. Hopefully I can find a way. The bags are not very sturdy and at .10 per bag I rather not buy them.However I do really like the curbside everyone is so pleasant!!

Nothing like having 12 registers and only 2 open while I watched 5 employees just watching videos and fb on their phones standing there doing nothing. How about you put your employees to work instead of forcing your customers to do their job! And paper bags are trash and you charge me for them? Save the environment? By you switching to paper? Poor trees.

overpriced store. got one steak 2 things of bread cream and hotdogs 45.00 and to top it off they charge you money for paper bags and if you don't pay for the bags they just throw all your food in the cart. the staff are insulting. A thing of hotdogs for a pack is 17.99 for a gallon of milk 5 for creamer for $8.50 for a bag of fries 7. Walmart is cheaper milk is $2.35 creamer is $2.50, and chicken is 15..stop and shop is 30.00 for chicken. and as I said staff are rude. I will never go back to stop and shop their prices are crazy and the staff are rude.

Place is usually very busy typically only have 2-3 registers open. Unless you use self check out. You now get charged 10 cents per paper bag. They don't use plastic bags nolonger. Personally not a fan of paper bags as they tear and rip easily. Especially with condensation from cold or frozen foods. Best to bring your own bag.

Unfortunately stop and shop has continued to find ways to gouge customers and not give any of that back to the consumer. It's pretty gutsy to charge people for bags that once were free and claim its environmentally friendly. This is what has been coined greenwashing. Claim something that saves the company mass amounts of money is for the environment, stick the cost onto consumers and watch the profits grow. It would be palatable if the cost of goods wasn't so inflated. But in a time where the average consumer is struggling stop and shop decided to stick it to us. Cute. So after doing a few weeks of price comparisons we will be taking our 1200 a month in groceries elsewhere. The convenience of sns being the closest store to us is simply not worth the price and the feeling that a company simply values the executives bonuses over our business has made it clear they don't want people like us shopping there. I would imagine if enough people realize that you have become a liability to their wallets those aforementioned bonuses should begin to shrink.

I don’t know about anyone else, but after working 40-50 hours a week I shouldn’t have to go food shopping and do all their work too. Usually only self check out is open, or maybe 1 register, so you have to scan all your own food and cash out yourself, never any baggers anymore so now you have to bag all your own groceries after you cash yourself out, and now they have no more plastic bags so you have to pay .10¢ a bag for those awful paper bags that rip apart and are a hassle to carry. Prices went up and service went down. I’m done shopping here!

For them to now expect customers to pay 10 cents a bag for a paper bag and 99 cents for a plastic bag is utterly ridiculous!! For those of us that just pop in on our way home from work etc and don't drive around with reusable bags in our car is just wrong! This should all be part of our customer experience! As if the pri ces for food aren't high enough now?? They want us for more? Forgive me for ranting but I am really p offed over this one! And I didn't see any advertisement of them doing this. Oh a sign on the ground next to the carriages? Guess we all have to stop and read those near the ground now huh? Ughh!

Stop & Shop is usually well stopped no matter which one. I seem to go to the staff I staff and shop is usually pretty friendly. Am I to which when I go to.There stores are always clean their bathrooms are usually pretty clean as well.The reason why I'm giving them 3 stars is because their prices seem a bit high when I shop at shoa's or the market basket or super. Walmart the prices are much more affordable than stop and shop. Now granted when I do shop at the other location super Walmart always seems to be half empty so that's boo on them with the other stores seem to. Be pretty full the reason why I usually frequently shop at Stop & Shop is because they're closer to my home and closer to my job. Than the other locations are but when I have to do a big grocery shop and rather than just grab a few items. I go to the other locations because they're half the price.If they could be more competitive on their price they would have definitely have gotten a five star rating from me.

It's a perfect location with plenty of food. I have lived here for more than 10 years and come here to shop almost every week. The staff I met were also very friendly. They would teach me how to shop more cheaply. But the employees I met yesterday were too rude. Completely disregard the customer's ideas. Because I wanted to spend money on soda, but a white man wearing white Earrings actually grabbed my shopping cart. He said that he was the boss here (employee or manager) and didn't allow me to continue buying. I didn't steal or rob. I used my own money to shop. He stopped me from paying. Clearly, there is no restriction on purchase on the soda brand. I'm disappointed. I don't know why I let such a person become a manager. He is completely damaging the interests of your company. The cashier is also arrogant. Later, I told my friend about it. My friend also said that this man was very rude. Obviously, I was not alone. I don't know if he is racist because he is white, and I happen to be Asian. Very disappointed. I hope you can train your employees well. Let them meet customers' needs as much as possible

Convenient location. There is plenty of parking. Decent selection of products. Sometimes there are out of stock for the item you are looking for. They expanded the seafood department and added a seafood display as well as live lobsters. Next to the deli they also added a sushi display with freshly made sushi. Staff is helpful and attentive!

Issues with receiving sale prices. The workers I interacted with were very helpful. The store is clean.Prices have doubled and tripled.I only go here for certain sale items.

So today around 4:30 ish give or take 10 minutes I had an issue with I'm going to assume a young lady and her name was kendra? I'm going through self-checkout and as I'm checking out my items the light keeps going off on the register because it's so sensitive. So she had to come over a few times and the last time she came over she said to me "I already told you how to do this I don't care it's just going to take longer" the attitude her demeanor her body language was so uncalled for she talked to me as if I'm a trainee and not a customer spending money. I don't care if it went off 10 different times it's your job to fix it and it's not the customer who spending money job.

I shop there almost daily with my two year old and his little shopping buggy. The staff there are the best, hands down. Its always clean and stocked. Management is always on the floor helping and friendly. It's worth the little drive to know they'll have what I need and everyone there is just personable! Awesome job guys!

I’m new to the area and started shopping there during renovations but then went to the N. Smithfield store because it was hard to find anything during the facelift. Now the store looks great and everything is organized. However, please get rid of the bag carousels at checkout. I hate self-checkout, so on my last trip, there were 2 staffed registers open: a busy standard lane and one empty carousel lane. I always bring reusable bags but went to the carousel to save time. First, I was abruptly told by the cashier that I had to bag my own groceries. I have no problem bagging. However, there is no room to work with the carousel taking up so much room. The cashier was piling things on top of the carousel, while I was scrambling to load groceries on the conveyor so I could start bagging. I worked up a sweat, and left without even a thank you from the cashier. I’ll be shopping elsewhere from now on - at a market that encourages paper and not plastic.

Not happy about produce being mislabeled and misleading. When I brought it up to the cashier and was charged 2 dollars more than the posted price and recommended they change the price labels over the produce ,he seemed not interested at all. No problem. After 20 years of shopping here, MARKET BASKET looks better and better.
