The owner is incredibly knowledgeable, researches every product in the store thoroughly, and gives phenomenal and personalized recommendations. Everything is certifiably healthy, fairly priced, and accessible. I cannot recommend any pet store more highly. There are tons of treat, food, toy, equipment options and more. They carry the healthiest brands that are not carried at the big pet stores and not available individually on line. I have an Ibd cat with seizures and need specific good quality foods and Happy Tails Market was the ONLY place I could find a good quality selection to try. The person who assisted me was beyond helpful and extremely knowledgeable about companies and ingredients. Other larger companies were not. A wonderful pet store and a great change from PetSmart and Petco. They have a really large selection of toys, treats, baked goods and food. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. I try to shop small and local when I can.

I stopped by Happy Trials Market today for the first time. I was impressed by the cleanliness and organization in the store. Not to mention the friendly employees and the wonderful greeting I got from the very nice dog behind the counter.I picked up a birthday treat for my dog and he absolutely LOVED it. He kept asking for more, I will no doubt be back in the future for more treats.

If you are looking for an amazing small business pet shop Happy Tails is IT!I buy all my treats, toys, food, chews, raw snacks and so much more here. They have the best of the best and anyone who know me knows I’m a dog food brat.Please check them out. They have wonderful products, are the kindest people and all of my dogs love visiting there. Some of my family recently moved down to Bellingham and while I was visiting I stopped into Happy Tails to grab a few treats for my pup when I got home. What an amazing store! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They carry awesome products, very reasonably priced, and to have an educated and helpful hand is awesome. I recommend this place 100% and check out the puppy bakery case - they have Cannoli!

HIGHLY recommend. They know their stuff and are incredibly helpful, they talk to you like a peer rather than in a patronizing tone like most places who assume you know nothing, the owner is a total delight, the prices are better than I’ve ever seen in store (especially in a small local store), and if you don’t see what you want there… ask! They were able to get order items I requested. The cats are elated, the dog is elated, and the birds are elated; it’s a great day.

Looking for a great independent pet store?Happy Tails Market in Bellingham is it.Excellent staff friendly and knowledgeable.Prices are very competitive.They have a great loyalty program.In a world of big box stores this place is one in a million.I drive 30 miles once a month for my monthly supplies.Never a disappointment.If I need something special I can call up and Kim will have it for me .One trip here and you will never go anywhere else.

Amazing store! Had the pleasure of speaking with Kim when I went in. She is very knowledgeable of dog food and spoke with me about different options to transition my dog to. She even made an adorable little gift bag of samples! Certainly a better alternative to the lack of personalized service in the big box stores.

I went to get my dog’s food and the shop was closed, but the owner saw me walk up and let me in. She was so nice and accommodating. One of the employees even special ordered a bag of food for my dog that they didn’t have on the shelves. Nicest people and the best products! Can’t recommend enough!

This is by far one of the best and most helpful shopping experiences I have ever had! Kim is so knowledgeable and helpful! My girlfriend and I are rescuing our first dog together and she helped us through the entire process, from buying the right food and treats to the right bed and cage. Kim and Happy tails is the best dog store anywhere around!!! She has the kindest heart, very professional and a smile is good as gold. She is sweet as pie I guess that's it I don't think it's letting me go any further so I wanted to say a whole bunch about the business and professional, she is very knowlegeable about foods.I don't have a car and she is really a sweet person so thank you so much Kim for everything you do the world is a better place because of u n happy tails ...she will try to help you any way she can. So far so good. The owner and others are kind, knowledgeable with all serious questions i had re: my dogs diet,arthritis.They suggested all right items first full day on new diet, he usually has a reaction right away not yet. I am so pleased he will be getting better food and vitamins. I h ave had my baby for almost 15 yrs. Blessed i am...hes my angel. Very i tellegent . I thank Happy Tails for helping us through this difficulttime. Without them my little guy would not have the chance to bounce back.From our hearts to yours!
