Store is clean and brightly lit. Meat dept. Well stocked with good products. Fruit nice and fresh. Cashier was pleasant. (Michelle) . The bakery products are always good, but I stayed away today.

I just took off a star because, as much as I enjoy their quality and variety, I find their "sale" signs a little gimmicky. I have been fooled by them a couple of times, so next time I'll be extra careful reading the small print on the description. Also, some items are considerably more than other retailers, like produce. Ironically, some others are a little lower, so check carefully. I especially enjoy their selection of dried fruits and nuts.

It was my first time shopping there feb 2024.It was expected it got many things i been looking for little better than market basket more clean smells more clean feels very comfortable. I had to say the truth. Prices is not bad.

Great local supermarket. Their prices are hit or miss but some items are even cheaper than market basket which is impressive. Also a nice variety of items.

Nice little supermarket. Has everything I need without the crowds. Prices are competitive and there lots of registers open. Cashiers are friendly. More laid back than the mega stores.

I haven't lived in Massachusetts in over 25 years after moving back. I went to this Trucchis even after the remodel and face-lift ( keep in mind haven't lived here in 25 years ) this store seems to be much smaller the selections are horrible and beyond over priced. They are no longer the " true key to value " as they once claimed rather sad

The old lady at the service desk “Charlene “ is very rude . If you go there for lottery she grabs the money out of your hand and then throws your change on the counter very awful customer service !

Some great deals sometimes, some products are overpriced but overall a good place to get what you need to fill up the ol fridge lol what I can say is the staff is very friendly and helpful for sure.

RECENT ATROCITIES:I WAS SHOPPING AND I SAW A LADY REACHING INTO ALL THE BAGS OF GRAPES AND TOUCHING THE ALL. I COULDNT HELP MYSELF AND I ASKED HER WHAT WAS SHE DOING?? SHE Smiled, DIDNT SPEAK ENGLISH, WAS VERY POLITE AND SAID..GRAPES. I said, stop that, that's wrong to touch the food everyone is buying. Ok...I ran in truccis quickly the other day and the delivery guy for the grapes...can u guess??? Was eating them out of the bag!!! I said, wth are u doing? He said people wash them before they buy em anyway. I was like, a kid could eat one when him guardian isn't looking, not to mention they are NOT FREE!!!!! watch your stuff truccis..NEW UPDATE NOVEMBER 2023: Anyone who shops at Trucci's in New Bedford, MA... beware!!......I have bought and taken home bad ribs X2, bad pepperoni, it turned green overnight, last item was bad hot dogs...they had a green tint and turned even green when I boiled them. Anyone who knows this store, knows it is very expensive but convenient for most. I paid 5.99 for those hot dogs. I could go on with the bad milk, turned creamer....just be careful...you've been warned.LAST Update: staff have become very unfriendly since it has begun to get crowded. I tried talking to the cashier, nothing, no response. I said thank you to the bagger, he just walked away. Plus their prices have sky rocketed since. I bought a turkey roast several times in the past @ 7.99...today they are 10.98! A bag of Doritos 4.29 cents!! Plus 2x's I have gotten home and found the meat was spoiled.

I don't always go here but when I do the entire store SMELLS HORRIBLE. The store itself is nice, but seriously they really need to do something about the air quality of the place because the smell is really unsanitary for a place like a grocery store.

Visiting old friends in New Bedford and they highly recommend Trucchi's so we decided to stop by. So glad I did! Lowest prices on hamburger patties I've seen in years (and they were delicious too!) plus the store is spotless with nice wide aisles. Young lady cashier was very courteous as was the pleasant older gentleman who bagged my purchase. That little candy/nuts/dried fruit section is phenomenal! The prepared cold foods in the deli section were very reasonably priced and tasty. Bakery section very good as well! The kitty litter brand I regularly buy was a $1.50 LESS here than the other supermarkets' SALE price, and they had the hard-to-find lavender scented kitty litter! Will DEFINITELY stop in whenever I am in the area!! Thank you Trucchi's for such a great shopping experience!!

Great local supermarket. Prices can be a little higher than other stores, but they always have great service. They haven't done Wacky Wednesdays in a while. Hope they bring those back! Awesome deals on english muffins and other breakfast items.

--------PLEASE READ TO HELP YOU------Folks I really don't like to leave any bad reviews however people need to be aware and leaving a review that's honest will only get everybody's attention....💝The prices at this place are absolutely ridiculous.And also important nothing is ever in stock..If you like cold cuts...Next time you stand in line take a look in the glass case to see how unsanitary it is.. Inside the cold cut case doesn't look like it's been wiped down and cleaned out on a steady schedule like it should be..I went shopping there today and after going through the produce and seeing that they were sold out of a couple items I normally buy.I made my way to the water and juice isle and noticed that they were also sold out of Poland spring water.I was going to buy vitamin water 7.99 for a six pack. WOW After seeing that the water was out of stock I was so disgusted because that was like the 5th or 6th thing that I wanted that they did not have. That seems to be a common situation at the New Bedford store..I just left my carriage right there half full and walked out.I went to Stop & shop on kings highway.The same vitamin water 499 a case everything I wanted was in stock and the prices were so much cheaper..If you a retiree or elderly or on a fixed income trucchi's is definitely not the place to shop..Trucchi's is expensive it is not very sanitary and they do not keep items stocked accordingly..

Prices at Trucchis' are the highest around. On several occasions I have paid $3 more for an item I had purchased at another store recently. It is sad because a good part of their clientele is the elderly.

Great place to shop, I love the bakery items! I can find certain products there I can’t seem to find anywhere else ( for instance, “five alive “)I absolutely have to mention that the positive attitude of the staff is indicative of the overall cleanliness of the New Bedford store. See for yourself, I’ll bet you’ll be back!

When you were sick as a dog, and you call them to tell them to make sure they get rid of the Buffalo chicken nuggets, and they're rude to you, not even I'm sorry you were sick.That's the last time I shop there.

Great local grocery store. Although it's small, they have a good selection and great sales on certain days of the week. Employees are very helpful and even help people load their cars if needed. Good selection of gluten free foods, for those of you like my son that have Celiac disease. Definitely worth checking out!
