I have been a customer of Rite Aid 1207 Acushnet Ave, New Bedford Ma for some time now and have always found the store to be one of the best in the area, I am greeted as soon as I enter the store, the store itself is very clean better than some other chains I have used over my many years. Enough cannot be said about the pharmacy, the techs are all very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. They have always been available to help when I call to ask simple questions like when can I get my refills, Without the techs the store would be lost they are the main operation along with the pharmacist for the way they help the customer. The store has all type of supplies and assistance is only a question away.

Would be nice if they updated their online shopping to include pharmacy. Would like to order my meds online for in store pick-up but it isn’t an option. Some of the pharmacy help aren’t very pleasant, that should change. Like your job or get a new one, right? Attitude is everything in customer service.Would be nice if they kept long term employees as well. Most of the people that worked there for years have been let go and the newer staff seem unfamiliar with where many things are located. Since they’ve recently relocated many of the products, having viable employee assistance would be nice and if they work there they should make themselves familiar with the store, rather than hiding behind the counter or in the upstairs office or break room in the storage area. Makes sense to know your store so you can help your customers. Good service generates good sales.

I wish I didn't have to give even one star but that's not an option. This store is so inept it's incredible. The parking lot looks worse than the city dump, there were used, uncapped syringes laying around near the front entrance, the dumpster was overflowing, the staff is always on their phones, most advertised sale items are always out of stock, etc.

Friendly service behind the counter, the security staff are very unprofessional. I went to the pharmacy to pick up something for my son and on the way out i get stopped by security after showing the security guard my receipt that was dated for 22 seconds earlier she said no way and held me while she phoned the pharmacist. She still didn't want to let me go after looking so dumb. This was a very bad look even for a store in my nieghborhood; total power trip. Top flight security of the world.

I found most of the employees and pharmacists are very professional and provide excellent customer service.There is one young kid who works here and although I don't know his name, I believe that he's supposed to be some kind of secret security, but he's in no way, discreet. He is very unprofessional.

I've been with them since before they were Rite Aid and Andy's the only one that's attempted to even help me since I've gotten sick 4 months ago. I had to go without for 3 days, twice, then go to 2 other pharmacies, with stage 4 cancer. I hope they get things together because I don't want to have to get a new pharmacy.

Horrible place for medicine I'm on he insulin and told them 2 weeks prior that I needed it they messed up and I went 3 days without it and ended up in hospital
