Love their prices and for me that's an A++ but the crowd is ridiculous no matter what day, hour of the week or weekends. However; I love how they sell different items compared to other grocery stores, and let me tell you honaaay their fresh pizza and fried chicken and rotisserie and steak and cheese are the best.

Awful service. The bagger snatched all my items with rage and threw them into the bags. The milk jugs were bent out of shape when she threw them in the cart. I wish I could just do it myself for free. Then I went to the restroom, saw one of the cooks walking out without washing his hands. I used to get prepared food from there, but never again. The cashier charged me the wrong price for gallon water. I pointed I had two distilled and two spring, and he was charging me for four distilled. He pretended to correct it, but when I looked at the receipt he still charged me for all distilled. I know it's only 20 cents, but it's out of principal. The customer service desk is just as horrible. Three people there doing nothing, and you'll still get an attitude like you're bothering them. Otherwise, good prices and good selection, but if you can afford better service, it's well worth it.

Awesome market! Good prices and the grill area offers quite a bit of variety for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They also have pre made meals you can take home. The pizza is one of the best in the city. (You can't beat the grill prices: $2.99 for a made to order cheeseburger and fries meal)

Listen people. 💕💕 If ur antisocial don't go to this market basket I repeat just dont go. There's always like so many people here. And the aisle you can barely walk in here sometimes. Not always though. The workers are nice and the prices are to. Plus for that. Parking depends on the day.

Almost always packed but they are an amazing grocer. Best priced fruit for freshness, the baked goods are amazing and the dinner counter, pizza, and sushi are always on point. Dude with the one Grey eye has amazing customer service. Half chicken dinner is an amazing deal on a budget! Lots of fresh options. Better than publix.

I love Market Basket. Sometimes it's a bit too crowded but even then I don't wait at checkout very long. Their prices are great and so are their products.

Good prices but miserable to shop in that store. Rude employees and customers. Too crowded all the time and hard to find items. Emplouees stock during business hours with big pallets of product blocking aisles. Employees push customers out of their way!!

Prices are cheaper, the New Bedford store is always a madhouse, Very busy! If yo like thick crust pizza, it's really good, and you get a large 8 slice pizza for $10.99, great value.

Your prices are great and your shelves are super stocked compared to other local "supermarkets".Your store is always busy, but you most always have enough lines open that wait time is -usually- pretty reasonable.And you have at least one or two "Under 12 item" lines every time I've gone to Market Basket.You don't see that anymore in other stores nowadays.I am also very glad to see no self-checkout lines, which your competitors use more than a live human being, taking away someone's job. And many of those computers freeze up anyways...Store is also very clean considering foot traffic.I would have given 5 stars, except for there are many employees on the floor who do not speak English or extremely little. Thankfully I speak broken Spanish so I can communicate my need, but I have seen customers become frustrated; like telling a person the packaged salads, which are in produce are in isle 8, the coffee isle.No one is going to get everything right all the time so I don't consider that a demerit towards Market Basket and its' employees, and I cut them some slack and show a little humanity.I will definitely continue to shop at Market Basket, even though I have to drive out of my way to shop there.Keep getting better!

The only bad thing about shopping at Market Basket, is the fact that everything is on sale LOL , so if you plan on going there only to pick up a few things, you always walk out with more than what you plan on because everything, is a good price the best supermarket to shop at.

I hate going grocery shopping. People are so disrespectful pushing you out of the way to get what they need. If you can order or have the privilege of being able to order online as far as grocery shopping goes, I would most certainly do it because you literally going to the zoo going to Market Basket

I don't mind M.B. prices. They were good,now they're almost the same as other stores. The worst thing about New Bedford store is the help. There is a language lack with most of the help. Several times when I asked for help ,they didn't. In one episode I was mislead on the price of an item and it took 15 minutes to finely fix the issue to get what I went for. Lastly , if you are going to insult people in another language, you should make sure the person you're insulting ( to there Face!),doesn't speak the same language! Which has happened 1 time too many. Now, I drive to Fall River if I want M.B..

Friendly, helpful staff. Great selection and good prices. The Cafe area is underrated and very much worth trying out. You can also order food such a pizza by calling ahead so it's ready when you arrive.

This has been the worst Thanksgiving of my life..At 67 yrs I have been cooking turkey since I was 13.this yr the turkey was rubbery an destroyed are day it had to be thrown out. The gravy an potatoes packets were out of date.

I was shopping for a boat with a crew of 7 and normally spend about 5k a month .I have been doing this for 27 years and honestly I think this was the best grocery store I have been to . Shelves stocked,fresh produce,seafood selection,cleanliness.And when I told them I was shopping for a boat they knew what they were doing. As I brought each cart, they unloaded and rang up and boxed, so I only had my last cart to wait for .I hope it's like this all the time cause I will be back.

I love Market Basket!!! I consistently get a ton of stuff for $100. Wide variety of produce, plus a lot of things that are hard to find elsewhere like Kimchi and Tamarind and dairy free yogurt.I also like recycling cans for a buck off at the start before I do my shopping. This is a great service to the public and for the environment.
