They work hard and genuinely want to help customers. The bathing suite is lovely, gets a little sloppy so make sure you have grippy shoes! They give you a towel and shampoo. The washer has a leash built in and the hose has the nozzle of a garden hose. Everyone always greets my pup and I when we come in.

Amazing selection of raw, natural food and treats. Will return for that!On the self groom alone, I'd give a 3 star. Roomy waist high tub with good mat and hot/cold options. Unfortunately no apron, so you might get soaked. And the provided shampoo is in an unmarked bottle, so you don't know exactly what it is. Works though! The dryer is nice too. Will come back again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place came highly recommended, but I left with one injured/shaved dog and the second dog didn’t even get grooomed except for two large chunks taken out of her neck. The injured dog is still limping and shaking. They only spent two hours there, could you imagine if it had been a whole day?!? Nothing will come of this post as they are going out of business, wonder why!!!

The staff here is so friendly and informative. It seems like they really love what they do, and genuinely want to help new puppy owners. They let me buy a few different harnesses to try on my puppy at home, and return the ones that didn’t work. 2/3 of them had very good sale prices! I think they offer quality items for good deals. They do have grooming at this location, but not daycare like a few others. I wish they offered that as it is very close to me so I would definitely utilize it.

The store had a great range of pet products at about average prices. The area they had to rent for the pet washing rooms was a little dirty. As this was our first time going there the employee dint really explain anything. It also stated on their website that shampoo and conditioner are provided and included in the rental price. We were given a soap that was mixed from concentrate and was very water downed and no conditioner. The air dryer had missing attachments but did blow air. Just wish the air dryer had the capability to push warm air out. Overall I would rate it an average experience. Not bad but could definitely use improment in certain areas.

By far! The best pet store I have been to anywhere. Most knowledgeable, kind and caring staff I have come across at any pet store I have been to, and believe me I have shopped around for years. Both past and present employees have been amazing. They will help you with any questions or concerns possible and try to find a solution to anything thrown at them. The energy and Kindness from the employees at loyal companion just give you joy when searching for a specific toy or the best product for your loved ones. They have a great selection especially for cats and dogs. I recommend this place even going to just get a little treat or even medical products for your loved ones. It has been a very very long road with my dog and they were there and have been the whole time.

this was our first time visiting. we came to get our cats nails clipped and were welcomed with open arms. the two ladies in the front were the most friendliest people. one of them was lisa and I wasn’t sure of the other girls name but she had dark red hair. they were very knowledgeable when it came to any questions we had. I definitely recommend coming here

Very nice, and helpful staff, tho for me this place is very expensive. I bought a small cat toy nothing fancy as they have almost no toys for cats, but it was almost $6! YikesI spoil my cat but wow, I can think of other ways to pamper my pet. Goodness knows he loves his cardboard box and "handmade toys"- usually my hair band or some other silly thing just as much.But if you need something special like a aloe oatmeal bath for your dog or "panties wrap" for your girl in heat, this is the place. Discount card for members. Great parking

The staff in this store are the most knowledgeable and friendly people that i have experienced in a pet store. They always take time to answer any question that one may have concerning your pet family. They more often than not offer advice on trying a new brand or toy or health product in a gentle manner without "hard selling".The store stocks a good variety of food and accessories.I would recommend any pet parent to drop in and visit!

Emily the store manager is always up to the task. She looked out for us when it came to the CBD for our dog. She found us a reasonable option for CBd. She has also taught us alot of information including how CBD assists in building the immune system and so many other useful detail that sparked my interest to learn more about our English Bull Dog. The staff here at the Bedford Loyal Companion are the best of the best! My Peg is on a special diet and her food is extremely hard to come by. The staff here always makes sure Peggy gets her special food and are such a pleasure to talk too. I am so thankful for them !

Loyal Companion Bedford has the BEST dog groomer, ever! Our 14-year old Fang is a nervous little guy, and Sarah has been able CONSISTENTLY to groom him well! She has a natural calmness with dogs and cats. AND the grooming is less money than the chain grooming stores. (We went to Loyal Companion after the chain store groomers felt they could not handle a nervous dog. We have been pleased with the change ever since!). Also, the staff members at the store know dogs, cats and their products--a great source of advice.

I couldn't be happier with with this store and with all of the staff here! In particular, Dani is so, SO helpful. She recently made some really wonderful suggestions to help my little Westie, Pumpkin become more interested in his bully sticks again (she knows his personality well and that he can get bored or disinterested which can then get him into trouble)!!Sarah also is wonderful and Pumpkin is always happy and looking so handsome after his baths and hair cuts with her. She makes the experience a pleasant one for him (and for all dogs, I imagine) and we are grateful for that.I have been going to this store for years and I truly feel like they care about their customers (both two and four-legged). It feels more like a family and we are always welcomed with a friendly smile and genuine kindness. Thank you! :-)

Looking for a specific Kitty Liter we use, Lexington branch has had it, but they were closed. Beford didn't have it so we had to go to Newton to get it. Every store appears to be stocked differently! A bit frustrating.
