So the prices are definitely good and the selection is not bad but the produce is some of the worst I have ever seen. Most of the time I need to use the produce the same day or itll already be going bad. A lot of the time the stuff I want is already bad, like garlic and zucchini. Also their meat is questionable and I rarely get it. Too often is looks and smells old and the chicken never cooks right.

The place is showing its age a little. The place is always well stocked. It never seems to be really busy. It is clean and has really great prices. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

The produce is the best I've seen in any other Commissary. They were absolutely fresh and clean. The employees were very professional and courteous. The baggers were also very friendly and courteous that I felt good to tip the nice lady five dollars, because it was well deserved.

You need groceries? They've got 'em!Coming from two large bases in recent years it's a bit small and lacks some items that I am used to. I am slightly disappointed in their produce, but they seem comparable to the local grocery chains regarding selection. Their meat selection is awesome, but the quality of the meat is somewhat questionable. Especially their frozen meat.All in all, I'll be going back since it is convenient and all. That and they do have groceries.

Clean and bright commissary! Excellent selection available, some items have very competitive prices compared to town. Very professional and customer service oriented employees, regardless of primary job.I'm particularly pleased that there is no limit on the self checkout lanes - thank you management!

I love the Commissary and it is well stocked , at least what I'm looking for. It's organized and clean. The staff is helpful and kind. Yeah it's not like Fort Bragg but it's home and I'm appreciative

Great place to shop for veterans and military families. It’s a 2 hour drive from where we live in NH. Good prices!

Great place to get your groceries on base. Their prices are low and no tax as usual. They have a verity of options to choose from. If you're looking for a quick lunch you can get something hot at the deli or grab a cold sandwich or salad located to the left of the deli. Their checkout lines are quick and easy to get through. They also sell seasonal candy. If you need a place for food this is the spot!

Great prices compared to the local grocery stores. Dont typically buy my meats here but everything else is great and you can't beat the prices. Hard to believe but they actually have great sushi rolls.

I dont know where the good reviews come from. This place is dirty. The grocery guy wears his pants at half mast. You cant.get help. Never enough cashiers. Doesnt matter how backed up it gets no other lanes get opened. There are birds living in the biulding. There is a burt out ligjt buld sitting on product in one of the coolers. This is not a good commisary.

As a retiree, this is a fantastic benefit for both the active and retired military community. Excellent prices for deli and meat department. My go to place for stocking up before camping or BBQ weekends.

It's a really nice place, and it also serves sushi. My dad usually comes here mostly so he can buy groceries, but my brother likes to eat sushi and my younger brothers want sweet stuff like ice cream.

Produce could do better as well as the meat section. Sales are not as good as the bigger installations. Not a big variety in what is offered, employees are really nice and truly to be helpful.

The Hanscom Commissary the best products. At very great prices. Friendly atmosphere. And when you're done, they wheel out your groceries for you and place it in your vehicle. But you have to be in the air Force to get on Base or a family member in the service.

Great for groceries! Great prices on meats & other stuff too. Soda is high though. Coupons are free at bookcase where enter & they put then on shelves by items too !

Depending on your needs you can find many good items at a reasonable price. If you need help finding an item the staff is more than willing to help. Over all you will find it a very good place to get groceries.

This is the worse DECA Commissary I have ever been to. The produce quality is below average; most of the "Fresh Produce" isn't fresh. The "fresh chicken" expires in two days. And on top of all of that, I've been having issues with my so-called "Rewards" card and when addressed, the staff gave me lame excuses and didn't even attempt to help me; they just watched me struggle in attempting to create a new account. I lost my patience and just said, "you know what!? Just charge me without my selected/clipped coupons and I'm no longer coming here!!!" I'm retired US Navy and so with my late Father. He would turn in his grave if he knew what happened here today. You guys just lost a loyal Customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do enjoy the Hanscom Commissary for shopping being a retired Army fellow. I just don't understand why peppers are bought outside the USA. It can't be the price because I can get a Canada or Mexican peppers at the local market for the same cost or less. Maybe, the USA doesn't grow peppers which is hard to believe. If I was looking for green okay USA, but I like red, yellow and orange.

The produce section is awful. This is upsetting because the produce section is most needed by military service members to stay healthy. The stock never stays for long because it gets picked over by veterans and their extended families long before active service members can get there. This is due to the hours the commissary is open, which is only open during the hours active service members are working. The commissary does not cater to active service members. Many times I have witnessed senior citizens eating and drinking food in the isles ( I'm unsure of their intention of paying). I did however provide 2 stars for the availability of parking and for the availability of sustenance for our military force.
