Having lived in Becket for 9 years, before I left, I knew the previous owner, who did well. But, I have to say Mark is a very nice person and our family really enjoyed Breakfast there and we do really miss that little store sitting in the back with the kids able to watch TV enjoying the efforts of Marks cooking. We still remember the Pizza. Also very good, my son still talks about it. Well life moves forward for some and Becket... well, it seems to stand still not necessarily a bad thing.

Overall great atmosphere and food. A good place for comfort food and a sit down stop to visit with neighbors or meet the locals if you are passing through. This establishment has a wide range of bare necessities to keep you going as well as beer, wine, liquor, snacks, and a deli too.

Mark, the proprietor and his crew are all happy to serve you hot home cooked meals. The country store has great pizza, too . Good selection of dried goods and package store.

They have pretty much everything you would need while you are visiting or staying in the area. The staff is always friendly, and they have a little cafe there that serves great food at really low prices. This is not the fanciest place on the inside or the outside, but you will not be disappointed if you grab a bite to eat here and pick up a few things while you vacation in the area.

Upon first entry, the shelves look empty and its kind of weird.... i am used to the land where the shelves are overstocked and the stores have no sense of how to run a successful business. As I have gone back to the store I have begun to notice that if you want something, just ask for it... they will give it a shot and if it sells or you buy it like you said you would... they will keep it. That is a pretty awesome thing in my opinion. Smart business too... Why would you keep anything on the shelf that doesnt sell and is just taking up real estate? Not to mention there is no ROI. On to the real reason why I am writing this... The Pizza. My parents got a pizza one time and I had a few slices from left overs while visiting them.... I was like where did you get this pizza from.... they said...the store.... my reply.... what store? their reply... the country store from by the post office.... insert jaw drop here: Wow. This pizza is goooood. I dont know who they have making it.. well I guess I do.. because I have met the people who make it, but man. Well done! The crust is always consistent and tasty... its well cooked and its huge for the price.. a large is 14 bucks and it will feed 4 people... maybe even 5... Nicely done Becket Country Store... Nicely Done.

There is no store this Good for many Miles Around ! Food is really Good ! You must try there Angus Hamburger !Mark is a great guy and is staff is top notch !And i also love there Chicken Wings ! So fat and tasty!You really need to stop on by, when on Holiday here in the Berkshires !
