This place is simply AMAZING! not only is it a grocery store, but they have so much more! But the best part is they have a great meat department that has a display case where they have steak, stuffed pork loins, and other all pre-seasoned and ready to cook foods. We bought the season steak tips and they were SOOO good we couldn't wait to buy more so we went back 2 days later but then we saw the stuffed pork loin and decided to try that, the flavor was out of this world. The only "negative" thing I could possibly say about it was there wasn't very much stuffing in it at all so make sure you make extra stuffing to go along with it. But you cannot go wrong with any of their food!

Great store. Nice selection of items and very friendly Staff. They have a great hot food section, they carry boar's Head in the deli. Great bakery as well.

Wow! I had a great sandwich here! Fresh ingredients and made right in front of you. Lots of menu options. From pizza to burgers and everything in-between. Including a smoothie bar. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

This is the way it should be, not Walmart supercenter. But a down to earth store with a great selection and service. Every American town should still have one in there town. Great job guys.

My family has always enjoyed your pizzas as my son has a gluten allergy and has gotten the best pizza ever. Yesterday we ordered a gluten free with no cheese and no sauce as he has other allergies. We couldn't believe our eyes. It cost 14.00 and if he had a handful of pepperoni and onions. I understand it was unusual order but you'd think it would have been loaded, seeing it had nothing else on it. We were very disappointed. Also got a pizza with onion and sausage and that was sparse as well. Not very happy and very disappointed.

Real, risen dough pizza. I don’t know why but the pizza we got today was the best pie I’ve had in a long time. Excellent job, young person with the short brown hair!

Good ready made food. My favorite is the chicken tender meals. My only qualm is the issues with pricing in the grocery side. I had a whole ordeal there today and sadly it cost all the meals I bought. They were soaked and moist because I had to wait a gd length of time for ad and price discrepancies. Pic is not from today pic was from last week.

Very limited variety/options, store is laid out very strange(the things they’ve paired together in aisles makes no sense etc), they close inconveniently early(@ 8pm), & last t everything is GROSSLY overpriced(like so much so it will blow your mind!) {For example - juiceboxes that would normally cost $1.70 @ Walmart & other grocery stores- is $4.79 there or the $2.59 (NORMALLY!) juices are $7 & so on. & it’s the ONLY grocery store; or ANY REAL STORE for that matter within a 25+ minute ride, the only exceptions being 2 gas stations. Just very disappointing honestly.

Very clean and an amazing diversity of products. Giant craft beer selection and an awesome pizza kitchen which creates a great selection of gourmet pizzas. Coupled with outwardly friendly employees, this is one of the best small town grocery stores I've ever experienced!

Awesome, local store. Lots of healthy, organic food selection with comparable prices and unique items. The on-site pizza/sub/shake shops are delicious, and we personally prefer going to them as opposed to a pizza shop (of which there are MANY to choose from in the area)I HIGHLY recommend doing some shopping here!

Just stopped in and ordered a few slices of Pizza heaven. The best pizza I’ve had in years. Highly recommend stopping in and trying it out for yourself. They have an Amazing variety of specialty pizzas as well. Great Job!!!! Will definitely be back.

Today, I had the most delicious pizza. I ordered the Bianca my friends had the Maui and Barbecue Chicken. They were all amazing!! Please if you haven't been to The Wholesome you have to go. They offer so much and they are always trying to bring delicious food to small town store. The customer service is great as well!

Hamburger was unbelievable. Chicken sandwich was super good and the fries were cooked perfect . I'm so so happy we have a good burger place in town . $6 you can't beat that for the quality of this burger, I realy can't say enough good things about it.

Awesome local market. I'm a motorcyclist and always stop here for a pizza or sandwich, which never disappoints. The locals in Barre are lucky to have this place to buy their groceries.

The difference is absolutely palpable, both physically and mentally. If you care about what you put in your body, this is the place. Even their bakery section is "wholesome" and delicious

Out of all the pizza shops in Barre, this grocery store is HANDS DOWN the BEST PIZZA!!! literally the best pizza I've ever had. I'm borderline addicted to they loaded spud pizza. It's dangerous that I live so close and work from home.( i may gain an extra 50+ lbs since its so good).Although the price is steep the workers are all super friendly, and tons of choices for lunch to go, including sandwiches. I don't do my weekly/ monthly groceries here since it is so expensive but if you need something for a quick recipe this is convientally in town ;)

This is our local market here in Barre. Since they've taken over the store it is an entire new world inside. Clean and a tremendous amount of good food. It may be slightly more expensive than if I traveled 30 minutes to a large store but I would not get the same quality. They've done an excellent job with the store thank you very much for making Barre a nice place to live.
