The lady at the register was looking for her co worker . So instead of leaving to go find him she yelled his name at the top of her lungs “Carlos” repeatedly then the customers started yelling for him and one customer even went to the back of the store looking for him meanwhile the co worker at the register just stood there. I just found that so unprofessional it’s not the customers job to go searching for an employee it’s the other employees job to know where they are . We probably wouldn’t have had to wait so long if she would’ve just went to the back of store and found him . She ended up calling him on her cell phone which I don’t understand why she didn’t do that from the beginning.either way I left .

I don't understand why everyone is saying great things about this store!! The store is very messy!! They are usually closed when you need something. When you call them they have an excuse as they needed to go to the bank for change. Put up a sign PEOPLE!! That's the right thing to do. And yes the manager can be very rude. The most important thing to do is watch your prices!!! They will over charge you and then argue with you about it. If the store wasn't so close to my home I would never go in there. That is the only reason why they get my business!!Again I say watch the prices. I went into the store and would have gotten charged more if I had not spoken up. I just don't understand why they can't charge the right price. The remodel is completely confusing. Why did it have to be changed?? Just do some cleaning and stop putting boxes all over the place where the customers trip.

Good value, many items lower priced than other stores. Store has a new manager and it is cleaner and more easily navigable. Staff is mostly friendly, but new manager is a little gruff at times. One older gentleman cashier is very unhappy but everyone else is helpful and personable

This Ayer store has always been well stocked, and very clean and each of my visits. Each time I've been easily able to locate items looking for as well as a few extra. Though not ample there's a small parking lot that includes handicap parking as well as the store aisles are easily accessible for the handicap. Store staff were friendly and helpful.

No complaints. Nice selection. Good prices. Good finds. Never had a problem. Never too busy whenever I go, which is nice.I wish they had more arts/crafts supplies, but I know that is a specific request.They keep the goods stocked up well.

Debbie the manager is very nice, very professional and very accommodating, especially to people who are new in town. The other cashier working a young man that if I remember correctly, I believe his name is Westley and he is just the sweetest, most helpful Family Dollar employee I have ever encountered!! My debit card was malfunctioning and I was staying at the hotel across the street and Westley was SO KIND that he offered to pay for my items and allow me to repay him when I got my new card, or some cash. I have been to NUMEROUS Family Dollar stores throughout the state of FL. where I'm from, but I have NEVER, EVER FELT COMPELLED BY SUCH WONDERFUL STAFF AS TO STOP AND LEAVE A POSITIVE REVIEW. I really hope Family Dollar's Corporate office checks these once in awhile because those two employees deserve major recognition for making a lost girl in a strange town feel a little bit better about her situation knowing she's surrounded by caring people.

This place has never let me down, and they have the nicest employees. I pop in numerous times a week simply for energy shots and they always have a good attitude. I can always count on the guy that works there for good conversation as well. And if they don't have something that you require they will make sure they have it for you next time

My visit was quick but from what I seen since the last time I was in there which was a year or so, The store was very organized but the cashier wasn't very friendly I felt like I was taking up her time. Other wise nice visit. .

There is a gentleman who does not wear a mask. It's a state law as well as posted on the door. No entrance without a mask. I won't shop there when he is on the register. This company needs to be more aware of it's employees and that they are following state guidelines. Update the sign is back up I assume because of the new variant strain. And guess who still does not know how to wear a mask. Yup him!

Great store the staff is really nice and usually remembers me. Around the holidays I was wearing a Christmas hat and one of the staff there jokingly said "I would look better in that hat" and I said "bet" I still feel bad.

Probably should tell your 18 year old managers that people returning things with a receipt aren't criminals. The cashier was nicer to me, and even told the manager I had given my reasoning to her twice already and why did she keep asking me why I was returning it. Sorry I pulled you away from your phone to make you actually work.

Great store selection . Store always clean and well stocked. However the staff is not very customer friendly I have had bad experiences returning items and having sensors removed from previously bought clothing .They treat you like you stole them .

They have Newport %50 off.went to buy 4 pick reg and Tatiana ask every2 out store.to drop everything and leave store. Me as next on line leave but she tends to take care of every1 on store while more ppl are walking in totally rude .

Use to be a great store, however has gone down hill quickly. Just stood in line for 10 minutes to get 4 items. Also, there's been times when the store is listed as open however it isn't.

When you're in need of supplies for home, office or on the go and are not looking to spend to much $$$. This is where to stop. This is a new store to Ayer, and the choice to bring it to this area was a blessing. Love the deals and savings.
