Very easy to shop online. Good communication with texts, order was ready for pickup soon after ordering. Only problem was curbside pickup did not work. They sent me an easy to use text link to notify them I was at the curbside spot, but after waiting at least 5 minutes I had to go in and find soneone. No biggie but can't give 5 stars.

This a family owned neighborhood store with plenty of gardening supplies and household items. They even had a hard to find sponge replacement refill for my ancient mop. Also, it spares me from ordering supplies from Amazon. Best of all is they have a friendly CAT.I am adding a new review:I'm so glad they carry the 'Quickie' butterfly type mop with with collapsible folding cellulose sponge. My old one (which lasted over 30 years) broke and I was able to order a replacement the same day it broke and pick up in the store the day after. It's the only type of mop I use on my intricately hand painted 'faux' marble floors and also wooden floors. Other mops leave too much water on floor despite squeezing out and going over floor again for the sponge to suck up residual water. Quickie mop has cellulose sponge which is a superior material to absorb residual water. Squeezing the water out requires no stooping to squeeze from the bottom and is more user friendly to those with arthritic injuries. This particular type of mop isn't easy to find. So, I'm glad they had it.

This is a great store. It has a nice small town feel, and with very friendly people working there. They always have what I need. I highly recommend this.

Glad I'm moving soon and don't have to deal with this store much longer. Prices crazy high. At least one employee makes inappropriate jokes in front of customers. Online pickup orders never go smoothly when it comes time to pick up items. The only reason they are getting away with this is because it is the only hardware store in Ayer. I hope a new hardware store comes to town soon and forces this terrible store to improve

Saw me walking up right at closing time and helped me find exactly what I needed to deal with some ants. The staff here is amazing, easy to deal with and knowledgeable. They get what people are there for and they nail it with good stock and good service. Highly recommend for whatever you need to manage your home, yard or garden.

The employees at the Ayer store are awesome! I was experiencing some issues with the site, so I called to see if they could set aside an item for me when they got it in. Not only did they do that, they also called and left a message! Also got the item for free because of the internet-system inconvenience. Great customer service all around! Definitely going to this store first if I ever need anything again!

The store manager worked with me to solve my problem and found a good solution which I was happy with. Specifically getting two 80 lb bags of concrete mix into my SUV. I'm 80 years old and the store got a young employee with a hand truck to transport the bags from the storage area into my car. It was most thoughtful of Aubuchon.

This place is good for an emergency pickup of a household item...that's it.They are frequently out of stock of itemsSelection is small and poorCustomer service is mediocre at best (Especially over the phone, i was literally told once by an older female associate to call back later we are too busy to respond to calls) Most places would fire people for that. This stores manager actually DEFENDED the practice.Prices are varying depending on the item,tools are a bit on the high side.Rarely do i enter this location anymore unless i'm in a last minute bind.

The people there are so genuine, friendly and helpful! They go out of their way to help you find exactly what you need, so you don't have to quess, go home, find out that you were wrong and have to make another trip back!Every time I check out, they offer to carry my things to my car. They remember your name and greet you when you enter.Chuck, the Manager, is very knowledgeable about what they have in stock. If it's not in stock, rarely, he quickly goes online and finds it for you.He also has assembled a really exceptional group of employees, who work together harmoniously and efficiently.Also, they have an easy reward system. After you buy a certain dollar amount, (I forget exactly how much, but it's not very much), you get a coupon for $5.00 off your next order. You don't even need to have the coupon on you to use it. They will look it up and you can use it that day!There are many may I help you's and smiles. Also, a little humor to put you at ease, especially if you're not exactly sure what you need or what something is called.It's refreshing to go into a store like this one!If you are looking for the usual, not being greeted when you enter, not even being acknowledged, no eye contact, no one that knows anything about the products they sell, how many they have or if they have them, not being offered assistance, and teenager's more interested in the latest gossip and their cellphone's, than the customer.Well, then this isn't the store for you, because you won't find any of that here!Refreshing and rare!

I was looking for a specific item and did not know it was discontinued. The associate told me why it was and suggested the proper replacement item. He was very professional and knowledgeable and the price was right. I would go back anytime I needed an item from you store.

Great hardware store I love these smaller hardware stores yes the prices are a little higher but they have stuff that you would not normally see and customer service is superior not to mention you helping the little guy out I would rather spend two extra dollars and be in and out with a quality product then asking somebody who might not know what they're talking about like if they're working in paint department and they've never painted in their life except for their mom's porch then you don't really want that advice you want somebody who knows about paint mixes paint Etc from that to Plumbing not to say that Home Depot does not have that all Lowe's or you're bigger chains but I like the smaller ones also they have a lot of clearance sales and there's a lot of stuff like I said that you don't see normally at the big chain stores places

This store has expanded since they first opened and now has a great selection of hardware of all sorts. And lots of folks on hand to answer any questions. I'll take them over the overly large hardware stores anytime.
