I made this appointment 3/11/20224 10 a.m. about 4 weeks ago online. I can honestly say since bringing Ruby for grooming to Petco I have had a very good experience but not this time. In fact I was extremely disappointed with staff and there lack of compassion and professionalism.I was right on time for Ruby's appointment the girl first told me I would have to wait as the groomer was due in at 10:00 a.m. and I was there at 9:55 a.m. Ok, I get it no problem then I was told oh she is not the one grooming Ruby its someone else who is here. Groomer came out we spoke about grooming Ruby and adding a few things. She said it will be 2 to 3 hours no longer than that. I said fine made sure they had my number and left. At 1:30 p.m. I still had not heard from the groomer and I called no one would pick up to busy leave a message we will get back to you in 24 hours "WHAT" So I called the store and told the clerk I was concerned it's now 1:45 and I have heard from no one. Transferred me to grooming and the groomer who answered said we are busy and Ruby will be ready in about another hour and half. I explained I was not happy and she is not a dog who is caged and that is over 5 hours. She stated like I said we are busy "REALLY" AND YES I AM UPSET!!!! Why if you are running late that you would not call the owner or when i was there explain we are running way behind bring your dog back or reschedule. But that was never a discussion nor a decision that I should make not the groomer. I'm not sure I will be back not happy with the attitudes and lack of care and understanding. Yes, Ruby was not herself when I got her home she is not use to being caged for that many hours. I wanted to put the groomers in a cage and tell them I'll be back in awhile I am busy. It's my pet and I should have been told they were to "BUSY" TO and running very late but no one ever called me until i called them. I made an appointment at 10:00 a.m. and expected Ruby to be seen then if 10 15 minutes behind I get it but not hours! Like I said I have never had a problem before in fact have told many friends and families to go there but I don't think that will happen in the future. This should never happen be honest and make a call before I get there or even if I got there and let me make the decision if I want to reschedule my dog. She is my family and very loved and I would not allow family members to be treated as such!

We absolutely love our groomer Lesile. My fur baby has been going to Leslie at the petco store in Avon since wwle got her. Leslie is amazing, patient, friendly and take such good care of my baby. I am so happy w3 found Lesile

Vanessa was amazing!!! My little guy gets very anxious at the groomers because he previously had a bad experience. But she was very patient and was willing to take it slow to earn his trust. Other places that I had taken him to would get annoyed with him. She did an amazing job on him, he looked so good. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family.

Sumi did a wonderful job on my Yorkie. She said he did great and that was good to hear since he is usually timid and afraid around strangers. Just goes to show the great vibes he must have been feeling!! I’ll be booking again soon!

Wonderful staff, took care of my two puppies. They even gave me some much needed advice for my babies. My puppies are a lot of work and they gave me some needed information I needed during a stressful time.

the ladies were super sweet to my dog who can be skiddish around strangers. I had a nice early appointment and everything was on time and efficient. Nova was Gus's groomer and she is always very kind.

I booked a grooming appointment for my fur boy but missed the 15 minutes window for the appointment so he could not be seen however the technician was kind enough to give him a nail trim that was desperately needed and I truly appreciated that.

Shannon did an exceptional job explaining the difference between the hair length. She spent time explaining things before grooming. After grooming she took the time to let us know how the dogs did during grooming. Our dogs are 15 years old and seem to know their limitations and adjust the grooming process for them. Our dogs have been getting groomed at Petco for a while and this was the first time they received bandanas. We were very happy with our dogs appearance & they smelled very good.

my dog got the worse haircut. the groomers did not cut 2 of my dogs nails. my dogs paws does not look even my dog looked the same before she came in. i expected my dog to come out looking neat, still messy as before. i asked to round my dogs ears, they squared it. she looks worse than before. never coming back. i do not recommend this place!

Poor service; after 3 hours, my dog was still not groomed. When asked seemed like my puppy was forgotten. My dog's fur looks the same as he went in. The worst service ever.

My 18 pound dog received the WORST haircut ever in her 6 years of existence. To top this injustice, I was told a simple grooming appointment will increase $18.00 to $54.00! I can do a better job than that “trained”………individual. Never again!

The crew were all kind and knowledgeable beyond their grooming capabilities. We spoke at length to proper diet of my pet as well as treatments for possible allergy. I am always happy with how my girl returns from their care and will continue to go back

Petco always does a great job. Our dog has sensitive skin. They use mild soap that doesn't cause itching issues which we've always had to deal with in the past from other groomers. He looks great when we pick him up.

Excellent customer service, I walked into the grooming salon and they greeted us by name (well my cat's name). And they did an amazing job on his lioncut, bath,and kitty works. His cut was to my specifications (short and tucked in mane, etc.) And they did this without me having to say anything. I love the Petco in Avon, it's the only one I trust.

My dog is older and a major league shedder. He is also very skittish having his nails clipped. I always get the extra deshedding grooming package. Your groomer, Shannon, is very patient and thorough with Conway and does a super job. She is one of the reasons I use Petco for my dogs grooming services.
