Decent size store, but resembles a catchall of miscellaneous everything items.... inexpensive for the most part, sometimes difficult to locate items (even if you've bought there before). The cashiers are courteous. There is plenty of parking, and ground level making it easier for wheelchair access. My family generally utilizes this location as a last resort when unable to find what we are looking for in our regular shopping locations.

Probably the worst Ocean State I've ever been to. Smaller than others, selection quite small comparable and people begging for money outside in the lot. The cashier was so sweet though and friendly

There are new hours of very inconvenience, 10 AM to 6.I'm at work in the morning and I can't be there at ten and i'm at work all day and by the time I get back to town they're closed so you no longer have my business. I did have a day off and I was over in there. Parking lot for another business reason. And I was just watching the hand over fist. People that sit outside the store in the morning and then just get up and leave when they realize they don't open to 10. Dothey realize the business they're losing? Are they trying to put themselves out of business because they're going to?

Ocean State Job Lots' well managed floor-traffic flow patterns are always improving.As I continue to explore their grocery section I find all my favorite cravings for esoteric flavors satisfied.

Decent store. They have a pretty good selection for your daily necessities, along with some other odds and ends, and seasonal items. I bought some good heavy duty metal shelving here for a better price than "a depot" for your home, no offense to the store. Pretty clean sand organized, just be mindful a lot of Chinese junk here too.

This place seldom disappoints. They offer a wide selection of housewares, school, art, and kitchen supplies in addition to a variety of foodstuffs from the routine to the exotic.

I think the set up of the store could have a better layout, some of the aisles are too narrow. They also seem to always be short staffed, there's usually 1 person open, and a huge line to check out.There are positives also. Obviously your prices are very good, and I usually walk out with way more than I ran out to get!! I give OSJL 👍🏻👍🏻

Place was messy. The girl checking me out keep clicking her nails on the glass figurines piece I got while they did a proce check. I thought that was unprofessional. She just roughly placed everything in the bag. Luckily nothing broke. The staff were rude to one another and impatient. When someone drop something they didn't even help the customer pick it up they just sat there and watched. Never going here again

Amazing deals with everything you need inside one store, great for this area because there are not many discount stores in the area, they had very nice workers who are always around and willing to help find anything you need. Clean store with bathrooms in the back if needed while shopping. Also even supplies a water fountain great for if the children feel thirsty in the store while you shop. I’ve been coming to this store since 2008 with my family and have never had any bad blood with the store.

Harry was very knowledgeable about the carpets on display. He went into great detail about fibres, down to a molecular level. Did he go to MIT? I would’ve given 5 stars had he not proceeded to squat down and defecate on three area rugs while talking about surface tension…Harry went way too far and if you think that’s far, you should see his twitter page!

Really not happy with this place right now. I was in and bought three articles of clothing the sign said 3 for 10.00. I made sure the 3 items were the brand they were supposed to be, when I checked out they didn't honor the sale price. My granddaughter went in 10 minutes after I did and had the same experience.

There staff has changed so much through the years I've been shopping there, I have to say that I love shopping there now! They are all so nice and helpful. I used to hate shopping there because the people that used to work there would follow you around not to try and help you if you get what I'm saying. Lol

I love Ocean State Job Lot. They aren't exactly a top of the line fancy store, but as far as these type of stores go, they're right up there with my top favorites. For the few minor flaws that the store does have, they more than make up for with the inexpensive/reasonably priced variety of quality products. Even though the employees are professional and courteous to their customers.. which is refreshing, for in the past; with the previous owner, they weren't the friendliest bunch..

Plenty of options for what I needed and they have plenty of everything else too.A very nice Lady helped me out when she was getting a couple of bags of Icemelt. Quite corrgell to converse with, come to find out, she is an employee of the store. No wonder that she new where every thing was.It was only the first time I have ever been to that store. I've always loved Ocean State Job Lot ever since I first tried shopping there years ago. They have some interesting items & I've found some nice brand name clothing there also. Great place if you're looking for last minute gifts too. Lots of books, quality hair products cheap! Only a few things to complain about. A few years ago my then bf & I bought a cake only to bring it home & open to find it was past date & covered in mold.😭 I was able to return it & get money back with receipt. Also, they have a wide variety of makeup, you can get quality nail polish & brushes...but you should probably steer clear of eye makeup from Job Lot! More than once I've made the mistake of purchasing cheap eye makeup (such as mascara), that was very dried out & no good as well as eye shadow that smelled funky & had a very "chalky texture", suggesting it was very old, probably way past the expiration date. And I know makeup takes awhile to expire, so it makes me wonder just how old it really was??? I don't know whether they're aware that it's old, but just be careful please or you could end up with an eye infection or irritation. But other makeup like I mentioned nail polish or even lipstick/lipgloss seemed just fine. They also switch up their merch often so if you don't find what you're looking for when you shop, try revisiting again in a few weeks & you'll most likely see new selections. They also have kitchen items, cheap reading glasses, face/body products such as face wash, body wash, soaps, lotions. Prices are very affordable. They also carry products that you may have trouble finding elsewhere or for less than other stores! If you use hair products such as gel, mousse, hair spray, styling cream, etc this is definitely a place you should check out. They carry quality brands like Bed Head & many others for a fraction of what you'd pay for elsewhere. They also have children's toys, you can find many for under $20 or even under $10! If you are Christmas shopping, it is worth a stop here.

OSJL has almost everything I need at the right prices. I try not to go unless I need an item because I end up wandering, sometimes for an hour or two, looking at everything. To me, OSJL and DIY stores are my fun shopping experiences.

Crazy fun place with astounding array of marked-down stuff. Don't take a shopping list, just go and down the aisles scanning for stuff you need. If you find something you want, buy lots of it since there won't be any next week.

While this is not one of the larger OSJL stores, this location still lives up to the company's promise of 'adventure shopping.' In addition to offering a wide variety of items at ridiculously low prices, this store offers something that is sorely lacking in many other retail locations - customer service. Whether it is locating an item shown in the weekly flyer or simply smiling while checking out your order, the employees here truly know how to make their customers feel valued.

Ocean State is one of my favorite department stores, you never know what you'll find, prices are great! If you own a kureg, I've never found a cheaper place to get k-cups. Never mind the insider deals and crazy deals, just sign up and get insider coupons and the crazy deals, buy whatever they have listed on crazy deals and get gift cards, oftentimes worth the same price as the item you bought! Top that!

Another Job Lot. Not as nice looking as some but still with some of the best deals on earth! If you are a bargain hunter, check out their Crazy Deals for something you may need, you just may get it for free. The employees here are very helpful and it's always nice to visit.

I give them a four because of the bargains. It can sometimes be messy, and the staff isn't always the friendliest. But there really are bargains to be had. Don't sign up for their discount card. Supposedly members get discounts. I've never saved anything, and now don't bother to give my number.

I like this place. A little set back from the street and hard to find at first but good store. Employees are friendly and helpful. Surprising selection from gardening to home decor to clothes to foods. Cool store.

I really commend the staff here... they are helpful and pretty much always in a good mood; the seasonal selections are excellent and I am very impressed with the amount of food options; this is my go-to place for many items.
