I love market basket, but my complaint. Is this . Prices Have gone sky high and that's the way it is. But these kids don't know how to pack a bag. My chips in my bread are always crushed. If I have to pay that much money for something, can you please at least train these guys to pack a bag correctly? Thank you.

My family for several years used the grocery store for almost all of our grocery needs.However, over the last year or two we have shifted to our areas closest competitor due to the fact that it seems like they create there own supply and demand situations. Creating much much higher prices than they have ever had.Pricing in conjunction with rude/miserable demeanored employees and lack of true on floor customer service as well as less than great service and food from their Market Kitchen has led my family to primarily shop elsewhere. I will say, that if you want fresh sushi this location does a wonderful job with that even though it is pricey.

I was shopping and over heard there store manager talking down and berating the young employees under him. Teenagers! He was calling them derogatory names and not in a way that co- workers speak to each other. It was very disturbing and I would not want my child working in such an environment. I will never shop there again and I can't believe they allow this behavior. The managers name was Ryan and he should be ashamed of himself as well should the upper management!!! Disgusting.

I started shopping Market Basket, and started saving a lot of money. Their prices are great, I always find everything I need and I think they are a great place to shop. I just wish one was a little closer to where I live.

I used to love the sushi, but today it was overflowing with so much sushi, but at least a quarter of the tuna was a grayish color. I had purchased a roll that I didn’t look too closely at but had to exchange it when I was putting my groceries away and saw my tuna was unmistakably gray. When I went to grab another I noticed a lot of other rolls that didn’t have a normal red tuna color. Maybe the team needs to handle the sushi better, maybe a different temp, maybe produce less at a time, or make sure bad product is taken off. But either way I’m hoping this is corrected for people’s safety. I’ll keep my eyes peeled next time I’m in.

Just like every other market basket selection wise. You are better off bagging your own groceries, unless you want all your delicate items on the bottom getting crushed by the heavy things that should have been bagged on the bottom. You will also get everything bagged 20x faster on your own. DON'T order from the kitchen if you want your food sometime today. The kitchen staff are lazy, slow, and ignorant. They have claimed they are vlosed for making pizza 2.5 hours early multiple times I've tried to order so that they don't have to do any work before closing. It takes 20+ minutes for the. To make a cold sub even when it is the only order they are working on. Absolute joke.

The store has a large variety of products. If you're looking for fresh fruit....don't waist your time. Prices are so-so (depending what you buy). The store made food is delishous (especially the rotisserie chicken). Store has always been very clean everytime I've been there. There are always plenty of employees stocking shelves and very happy to help with any questions.

A huge shout out to the staff of the Bakery in the Athol store. As a multi-generational faithful shopper, I need to thank them for their kindness and patience with my strange order of frosting. They went above and beyond expected service... I cannot thank them enough. The best!

This is for the grill area only the rest of the store is great, 1 hairnet out of 10 people behind the counters. Watched a "Danny" put his hands in his pockets with his gloves on and then make a salad without changing the gloves. How the manager of that area can let things like that fly is beyond me..

Market basked in Athol is about a hour from my house . We go there to save. Other Big Y and stop and shop ,Walmart is too expensive we need a Marked Basked here at least in Hatfield.

They keep having best prices hands down. Also, I like that they have multiple locations and great variety of products, some which can not be found in other competitors stores,.like those you could usually find on certain ethnic communities. It tends to be somewhat crowded, but cashiers are all always there and ready to serve you. Really happy to have them around and everywhere....

I went to the Market Basket in Orange, MA. The staff at that location was very helpful and accomedating. I particularly appreciated the service from the kitchen staff. I ordered a bunch of food for my husbands 40th b day and Jade was great! It was a large order and her service was above and beyond. I notice her leadership skills with other team members and asked if she was the manager. She told me she was not, which was even more impressive to me! Thank you Market Basket and thank you Jade!

Always clean and well organized; even when out of many products, you can tell that they still try to make the place appear good. I appreciate that. Workers are all friendly and helpful.It's nice to walk into a grocery store holding my boyfriend's hand and have the employees smile and you.A good vibe in there. I enjoy going.Also their blue, foldout reusable bags are all I ever use. Best things ever.

This review is specifically for the store in Athol Massachusetts. To put it bluntly it’s not a very good one. The only day I can shop is on Sunday and I generally don’t get there until mid afternoon. This means that all the sale items are out of stock. Nobody seems to want to stock anything up for those of us who can’t get in there first thing in the morning. You say you want to go to the Market kitchen? Pack a lunch. Eight people back there, a whole line of people waiting, and only one person waiting on customers. This isn’t a one time deal. This is almost every time I’m in the store. The people are friendly, but friendly doesn’t make up for incompetence. I think management really needs to get a handle on things so that customers aren’t as disgruntled. I guess I’ll just take my business to Walmart.

Prices are ok But, most of the young employees need a lesson in manners. No reason to have 4 to six staff in one area pulling forward as they ignore the customers, talk about personal life and if you stand there trying get a product they don't even stop to ask if you need anything. Do your business a favor and teach them some manners as they apparently haven't learned these at home.

The store itself is great it's the kitchen that needs a ton of work. Their food is excellent and very reasonable in price but the help is horrible. It's so mismanaged it's unreal customers wait in ridiculous lines for ridiculous amounts of time. The help is very slow and loves to chit chat instead of work. Even if you manage to get them to answer the phone and take a call in order you still have to wait . I've waited almost 40 minutes for an order I called in. Someone needs to fix that kitchen

Awful unsanitary bathrooms. Urine on seat and no toilet paper in dispenser either. And it was a main one at front of store too. Disgusting!

Do not waist your time at Kitchen Market. Horrible wait times. Phone orders take priority. Just not worth the stress. Spoke to the assistant manager and Kayla was nice but didn't solve my issues. So we won't be ordering food there. It's ok to get prepared food. Grab and go. They need a lesson in work flow.

Love their restaurant area.... the food is great and cheap! Great dinners... pizza... grinders... and the sushi is awsome for a grocery store very fresh and they will make things to order as well! Very good in other departments as well!
