I love the fact that such a great source of foods is located in this neck of the woods. This location has some of the best people working here!They always have something new to try and they support local entrepreneurs.I was just here late one night and the employees were able to expertly de-escalate an interesting customer complaining about prices.Recently I went here with my girlfriend and we were able to get the ingredients here for a random dinner which was delicious.I went here Wednesday morning and got some delicious crispy brownie cookies and the staff were helpful.

Hannaford is our go to grocery store. The management and staff is always a pleasure to talk to and they always have smiles on their faces. I have been using Hannaford To- Go for just about a year and I highly recommend it. They are thoughtful with their shopping and it has always been a positive experience.A shout out to Caleb! He’s very friendly, hard worker and goes above and beyond.

I am so disappointed. I have been buying the lobster mac and cheese for a long time and it's been great. Went in this week and it's awful. Very bland and no discernable lobster. I also got the chicken with noodles. It used to be lo mein noodles. Now it's more like spaghetti and the portions are much less. I like this store because it's never crowded like Market Basket but if this keeps up I'll be going elsewhere.

The running joke where I'm from is referring to this store as Can'taffords (instead of Hannafords).But, after many grocery trips in our town. I can safely say, their prices vs quality are much better than the other 2 options we have here.I highly recommend shopping here, and they have an order online available via their app in which you can do all your shopping from home, pick a time to go get it, and they will bring it to your car, load it for you, and you can pay right from your driver's seat.Highly recommend

The store is well maintained and easily shoppable. The staff was great! The low rating is due to the fact I spent 20 minutes driving around Athol trying to find this store because the address listed is not at all accurate. The other stores in this plaza are listed as being on Main St where this store has its location listed as New Athol Rd. Please fix this as well as your online egg prices!

I am tired of the sneaky way they go about price gouging.Thier rotten produce.I an VERY fed up with the horrendous bagging. They crush and destroy my food ALL the time. Hamburg buns between 2 heads if icebutg lettuce for example. Eggs in with heavy cans. Bags so heavy one can barely lift with 2 hands.I ALWAYS have to rebag. Even though I group my items on the belt in an attempt to minimize the destruction.

It's a nice grocery store. The clerks were both helpful and polite. I don't shop here often because my life is oriented to the west of my home and this is to the east but about equidistant from my regular grocery store. I found the pricing to be similar to my regular store. Conveniently located about a mile or so from the local Walmart I think I will have to reconsider my shopping habits.

Staff stocking shelves always greet you, and are very helpful. My only complaint is your baggers. When you bring in plenty of bags and ask them to please not make bags so heavy, they say yes, but need to realize that not everyone is as young & strong as they are. It's very difficult having back & hand issues and trying to lift these heavy bags. If I buy milk, single bottles of water & coffee creamer, they will put them all in one bag.... almost impossible for me to carry.

Its always a good clean store and staff is typically helpful. They just did a remodel of the registers and have added self checkouts which is kinda nice when you're in a hurry and only need a few things. However they made one of the first registers the customer service booth as well which I think is kinda crazy.

Hannaford is a great grocery store, even this one, which is a tad smaller than ones I used to shop. It has most things I need, but may miss on the occasional item. Prices can be a bit higher in produce section than at the other local major grocery store, with smaller produce items, but the items are always fresh. However, they can have some good sales that will rival other grocery stores and sometimes be even less expensive.Like I just said, sale items are a great buy! And, Hannaford also has 2% rewards on the following brands: Hannaford, Taste of Inspirations, Nature's Promise, CareOne, Always My Baby, Smart Living, Etos, Limited Time Originals. As well, 2% rewards is found on items with the store brand name on the packaging: fresh meats, seafood, packaged produce, deli and bakery items.It is rare to go into a grocery store and find paperbacks and magazines, but this store still carries magazines and puzzle books like wordsearch, crosswords and sudoku.

Surprisingly good selection of most everything. Store layout is infuriating. Very hard to find some things, even for staff when asked. That said, the staff are good, helpful people. Prices are average to a little high for the area but they don't have much competition so I can't blame them fir gauging a little.

I would have zero complaints if the baggers were trained at all. I shouldn't have to repack because my raw salmon, candy and fabric softener are in the same bag. Not even close to a 1 time thing. Last time I spoke up, the woman snapped back with "I wrapped it in plastic. It's fine."Update: Stopped going unless I bag myself for a small trip. Its the same thing every time except one single time. I shouldn't be surprised when my bags aren't 10lbs and all crammed together. (Or reach to grab my purse and find bags on top of it.)

Went to Bakery .Need a cake asked around everyone said Hannaford so I ordered one .it wasn't what I ordered but they fixed it immediately and it was the best cake we have had in ages so thank you all for making my husband's retirement 65 birthday perfect.❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love this store. I have since they opened here back in the 80's They keep it so clean (I've seen them washing the walls inside the front doors for instance) and hire very friendly and professional staff. I actually look forward to going there. If there is any difference in prices, they are not enough for me to notice or make alternate plans over. Also, they carry items I just can't seem to find at Market Basket. Plus, a trip to Market Basket for me is an additional 11 miles round trip. At standard mileage rates, that adds an additional $7 and half an hour in the car. Where's the value in that?

Hannaford is basically the only store I choose to shop in. I know pretty much where everything is. All there people are great and friendly and more than willing to help you find something you are looking for. The other stores are to big and I cannot find anything. I am handicapped so everything makes it less stress and easier to find whatever. That is about the good things and why I prefer to shop in Hannafords....😃😉👍

The deli is as good or better than any around. The staff is the biggest asset of this store. They are friendly, helpful from the cart collectors in the parking lot , the deli workers, cashiers, baggers. All of them are top notch.

Very clean. Pleasant workers. Did notice a sign posted on the way in saying...no smoking within 25 ft of entryway. 👏👏 All stores should take notice. Patrons should not be subject to people standing by the doors smoking!!

More reasonably priced than Greenfield or Northampton grocery stores and the bag thing is no issue if you bring your own reusable ones. Market Basket is all the way across town so for someone coming from the west, good location

Good local grocery store with a good selection of fresh veggies and fruits, meats, seafood, deli & a bakery section offering to-go donuts, pastries & coffee (from a Keurig). Well-laid out and helpful employees. Clean bathrooms too.
