My cat needed double paw nail trim, anal glands expressed, and bath. It was his first time. He was great with everything being done on him. I’m so appreciative to Sarrah for transforming my smelly boy. I love there’s a separate cat area.

I brought my 1 year old cat and 5 month old kitten here. I made a point of telling the owner that this was the first time they would be groomed. The website states they have a “cat spa where felines are completely separated from the dogs”. When I picked up my cats they were in their carriers up front, completely unattended with the finished dogs. The noise level from the dogs barking at them was deafening. Both cats were traumatized by the experience. I am both disappointed and angry. I do not recommend this place for cat grooming.Update after owner response:Thank you for your reply but perhaps you should update your website that specifically states that cats will be kept separated from dogs.

My two British Shorthairs only had baths at home, and I felt it was time they had a professional grooming. I was so relieved to find a cat groomer in my area. My girls came home sparkling and also in good spirits! I was nervous that the experience would be traumatizing (you know how cats are), but I could tell they were handled with love and care. Their coats and claws looked fantastic, and the service was excellent. Thank you so much!

Brought my very scared cat here for a shave as she was shedding everywhere. Very easy to make an appointment and by the time I dropped her and pulled into my driveway they called and said she's done. When I picked her up, she was clearly sleepy and relaxed. They said she gave no trouble and was falling asleep during the shave. Very happy with this place and will bring her back again, price was much more fair and reasonable than other places in the area. She seems so much happier without all the fur shedding and getting in her face and mouth Will never take her to a big chain store as they handled her very rough.

I have been bringing my 1 year old shih poo since she was about 4 months old. She is super loving, has patience with all humans, and is overall a great pup.My last 2 experiences were HORRIFIC...first, they shaved her long haired beautiful tail because it had some knots in it...(which could have been easily brushed out with patience and care) but since they could care less, it ended up looking like an actual rat tail which was completely uncalled for.I decided to give them a second chance...This time, even after reminding them several times not to pluck her ears (she has very sensitive ears, and anxiety to a level she can not adapt to when they are ripping hair out) they disregarded my request and days later she now has a DOUBLE ear infection. Which she has never had before and the vet confirmed was due to her last groom visit.I went in and spoke to the owner about this, and asked for a refund. She would not take my word for it and wanted proof so I handed her the vet's description invoice and I told her regardless of what you believe...I need a refund because I specifically told you not to pluck her ears and you went against my will and still did. She reluctantly gave me a refund and told me "we need to cut off our relationship" WELL! That's fine with me.... I didn't plan on coming back anyways.Long story short, this lady had a terrible attitude and it would have been nice if she just owned up to her mistakes instead of giving me grief. I will GLADLY take my business else where so my dog never has to suffer like this again.

After strongly requesting to not shave my Golden Doodle when I dropped him off they still shaved him. We only wanted a trim. Even if he was matted, I would have rather received a phone call before for another option. We were very clear we didn't want him shaved. He looks ridiculous. They could have just trimmed the matted parts, left his tail, etc.Also, because he's a big dog they even leave him in a crate to air dry. My guess is that they just shave him to save time drying him. Terrible.We've been to this location a few times and kept getting the same results. We will not be returning.

The ladies at Groomtown do wonderful work. Today was difficult when Lisa increased her rate 25% and I found out when I picked up my pup. Please call your loyal customers to apprise them of your rate increase, as we've been booked for weeks now, if not months. That's the right thing to do. Thank you Lisa.

Have been bringing my dog here for since I got him a few years ago. Very accommodating, my dog refuses to wear 'sweaters', is white, and is prone to matting (my bad). Stephanie works hard to keep his coat as long as possible in the cold months. Atmosphere is pleasant, quiet, and clean. I also like that my dog isn't there for the day, and it's fairly easy to get an appointment.

I cannot say enough about Groomtown! My dog Charlie,a big Golden Sheperd mix, got hit by a skunk this morning. I called them at 8 am and they took him right away. I just got him home and he smells fantastic!! He was in tough shape this morning but now he is back to his old self. I would recommend Groomtown to anyone! Thank You so much!!

Horrible! An employee got COVID and they rescheduled my appointment for 3 more weeks out. Because it had been so long, my dog's tail was a bit matted and instead of going slowly to eliminate the mats, they shaved his entire tail. When I asked about it, the owner was horribly rude, made zero apologies and told me a brush goes a long way at home. NEVER. AGAIN.

Our Westie had anxiety when put in a cage even for a short period of time. The staff at Groomtown went out of their way to work with us. Scheduling us for first thing in the day. Calling us about 15 minutes before he was done. That way we could get there and he wouldn't get all stressed out. (He loved being groomed, just didn't like the cage.) And he looked great when he was done!

Ive taken my golden[black]doodle to a few other places and she came out looking like a poodle. Groomtown was absolutely the best place I've every been. Sabrina is an all star, did a fabulous job. When I got the bill I was floored, in a good way, very reasonable. Actually ended up buying all kinds of toys. They have a good selection of toys, grooming aids, collars, coats and anything else. Meet the owner and she was very nice. I would highly recommend Groomtown, as my Vet at Canobie Lake Animal Hospital, did me. Thank you Groomtown my Lily looks awesome.

i want everyone to know that this groomer is magnificant. the work is impecable. lisa the owner has a great personallity and is a true lover of animals. the shop is kept clean. the fact that you can inspect the premises is awesome. never any noise or any sound of an unhappy animal. the staff is pleasant. her services are very reasonble..
