Love the feeling of the old mom and pop stores from when I was a kid. Love you can get you beer and wine there. Also it is cheaper than liquor stores. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Love to shop there.

Solid local grocery store. Very nice employees. Great little bakery and selection of prepared foods. Can be a little pricey. Sometimes a miss on an item here and there (the cider donuts were really bland). But overall solid. ETA: picked up a roasted chicken and some other prepared soups and breads and that were all great 👍

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE DELI GUY. The guy they have working the Deli now is MISERABLE AND RUDE. PLEASE HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!EVERY TIME I have gone there over the past few months he is the only one working the deli. Miserable. Rude. Every. Time.

It’s small but I’ve had unexpectedly good luck finding off-ball items. Wish they’d stock more sugar-free items.The staff is phenomenal. Always. Deli and butcher service is fantastic.Prices are a little above average but there are always sales on many things and it’s convenient.The store brand milk always starts to go before the expiration date but maybe I’m just more sensitive than most.Tuesday’s are 10% off for seniors!But I think it deserves 5 stars for the quality of service alone.

Decent selection generally. We bought a bag of "local" coffee that was unsealed and smelled like it was flavored tho not labeled as such. We bought "cider donuts" that tasted like chemicals and were inedible. Would not buy anything store-made or "local" here again.

This store always has everything I need in stock. Their meat department, deli, bakery, all fantastic! They carry brands that I haven't seen in supermarkets in years. I go there to buy 6 or 7 items and come out with a cart full of groceries. Every department is well stocked, prices are comparable with other stores. It's a great store!

This place is great for a local hometown grocery store. They carry a little everything. I love their gourmet bakery items. Their prices run average to a little high. I find this very typical for any small town grocery store. The store is very clean and the employees are very friendly. I definitely recommend stopping and shopping here. Especially if you are new in town.

If I could put 0 stars I would if this was based on attitude and customer service. The cashier's are very rude and disrespectful. This isn't the first time with this happening either but I'm all for trying to be understanding. Its happening every time I go in there. Its not jus one person. They don't check the dates on their products which caused my newborn niece to be extremely sick because they seem to think its appropriate to keep things on the shelf that are a year or more outdated. Especially BABY FORMULA. If it wasn't for the people that come in and spend money to buy their products they wouldn't have the jobs they "hate" so much. "Thank you" and "have a nice day" or even acknowledging me would've been nice, but I couldn't even get a hello. But when I walked away the person behind me gets greeted. It saddens me cause this store is in my neighborhood, and has some products that are hard to find in the big stores, and being right next door to me was extremely helpful due to the rises of gas prices, ontop of it being a small town business and me wanting to contribute support; This has me changing my mind and traveling elsewhere.

The stores clean and the employees and staff are all very nice! That’s my only compliment lol. So, from my understanding is they are a CT based store. That’s there first mistake was bringing there over priced store to an AREA that’s 60-70 perfect elderly or living on income restricted. Just like big y this store will not make it 10 years. Please, half my family loves your store just lower your fricken prices and who’s idea was it to add the alcohol? That’s probably the only thing keeping the store afloat.

They had small amounts of everything but if you're gluten free and health conscious forget it. They have an ok deli and a good variety of preped food. Just wasn't for me. Veggies at the time I went were kinda rough looking.

I used to work produce in a couple of supermarkets. Plus I grew up on a farm. Every time I've been in Adams hometown market I felt that the produce section could be better. Im not saying it's bad, but it could be better. It seems like their lettuce is sub par compared to other stores. Their lettuce in general from head lettuce to Romain. A couple of times when I was there I wouldn't buy it. I used to feed better lettuce to the animals on the farm. I'm not blaming the local store. It's their wholesale buyers. Other than that it's a very clean store that is stocked pretty well and has friendly people.

Friday Oct. 7th 2022 Around 8: A.M. went in to store and front end manager Judy and Cashier Elaine were knocking store and store management in front of customers. Judy was rude and no one who should be in management role. My husband called and Judy was rude over phone and did not care and hung up on him.So sad how these employees treat people and businesses who provide jobs and employment that feed there family.

Nice store, staff is usually friendly. Im very disappointed in thier baby food option, went in to get some food for my son (we do the premade for daycare as it dose not need to be refrigerated) and everything was fruits with almost no vegetable options. It doesn't say much when Walmart has Heathier food options then our supermarket. I do like thier floral options, good prices for nice bunch's.

Friendly, much cleaner than Big Y ever was. A small town market can hold you captive and the prices reflect that, really aren't any higher or lower than when Big Y occupied the space. I suppose you pay for the convenience of having a market nearby. Staff is friendly, helpful and engaging. All in all everything one would expect from a small town grocery store.

My favorite market in the Berkshires. Convenient they normally have what I'm looking for exception I need something special had to drive to Albany lol. 99% of the staff has been helpful and friendly, only 1 butcher had a bad attitude he no longer works there though. Highly recommend

Where to begin? Well, prices would be nice, so you know how much money your paying for something. Polite workers would also be a plus. Having your coolers actually be cold, so when I buy meat it's not room temperature is also a plus. Thanks

Black people don’t go here if you want to be stared at by the employees. First time going here and will be the last. Very annoying to be stared at when all you want to do is get groceries. The employees look very disheveled and have the nerve to be the one staring. Like I should be staring at you because why do you look like that? But I mind my business. I can’t wait to leave this stupid city full of annoying white people

I love our new Adams market. I found everything that I wanted there. The store is neatly arranged, making it easy to shop. And, there are always some great specials going on as well. I especially love their 10 for $10 pasta sale.Go to other markets & pasta can be $1.59 per box. So..10 for $10 for pasta is FABULOUS!! Also..their 10 for $10 Chobani Greek Yogurt sale..AMAZING!!Cheers to Adams Hometown Market!! And, thank you for coming to Adams. We needed you.

A nice, small hometown grocery store that is a lot more convenient than going to Walmart, North Adams, or Pittsfield for groceries. The interior has been spruced up a bit from when it was Big Y.Items are easy to find and the staff is friendly and helpful, so it's a good quick in and out store to get a few items that you might need in a pinch.The market has pretty much everything you'd need and expect from a full service grocery store. The prices are not cheap, but are for the most part, fair and reasonable.

Second time in 2 weeks have been in the store to buy one item, although I have been in for large purchases. The Express Lane had no one working it and when I went to the Customer Service desk I was told by the employee standing behind it that she wasn't open. I wasn't about to wait for the 2 people ahead of me that had full baskets. Poor customer service at the front end.
