If you like to try different things, this is the place to shop. They have SO many different canned / jarred items that I've never tried before and it was hard to just pick a few things. I got some of the dried fruit and it's all been good so far. The smith island cake and the double yolk eggs reeled me in, but there is so much more inside. It's a very unique store. I've read other reviews saying that employees were rude from months ago. I was helped by a very nice lady this morning, so maybe they have been replaced

Just bought two slices from here. Didn't realize they were moldy until we went to eat them on the way home. Store was not very clean. Needs work.

Love this place. We stopped because they are an outlet for the Smith Island Cake Company. As others mentioned, yes, the cakes are expensive, but, then, you are getting the real deal (the real Smith Island company rather than a knock-off). The crab cake sandwich at Grumpy's (the food truck in the parking lot) was excellent. I went back and bought more to take home. My friend said her fish sandwich was good but she wasn't as impressed with it as I was with the crab cake. They had produce even though it wasn't grown locally. They'll have local produce in season. I bought some corn and green beans even though they weren't local. They looked better than at the grocery store. I'll definitely stop here again.

How come this store doesn’t show up on a google search when you’re lookin for a place to stop for smith island cake?? They always have them and they are open Sundays. You can make the stop without getting off the highway on your way to the bridge. Perfect pit stop.

Great spot to stop on your way home from Ocean City. The MD tomatoes and peaches were AMAZING! I also got a soft crab sandwich from the food truck outside, it was sooo yummy! I totally recommend making this a stop on your way home.

Jumbo softcrab was kinda small. I've expected it to be at least 4x bigger and thicker. Cherries were super expensive like $12 per pint.

I have found the people that work here to be extremely friendly and helpful. My wife and I always stop here on the way back from Ocean City, to get a few things that we can't get on the other side of the bridge. Plus we boys eat here at grumpy's BBQ grill & seafood. The owners have always been very nice and we enjoy talking with them before we eat.

Good farm store with so many pumpkins to choose from! Some staff very friendly, some not as much but a good stop if you need to stretch the legs. No bathrooms though.

Love this place, but they need to replace their rotten fruit with fresh. I got a pumpkin Whoopie pie which I’d give a 10/10 it was quite tasty! Their asparagus looked very well, and I cannot wait to cook with it. But things like peaches need to be replaced when rotten/moldy/bug infested. Food truck aka grumpys might be a little expensive but I feel it is worth the money.

Shop is still open. We love the double yolk eggs. They said they will stay open till most of the pumpkins are sold and then be back open in April. This is our favorite little spot to stop in and grab goodies!

The Amish baked goods are from a PA bakery, and freshness is not guaranteed I guess. Whoopie pies inedible. A whole fruit pie had tiny ants on it. I didn't see them when I picked out the pie, only once we got home. The fresh strawberries they had looked half rotten, so I bought blackberries which just tasted off. The 6.99 slice of Smith Island cake tasted good but was old and dry. No dates on any of the baked goods, so no way to know at purchase. Truly a disappointment; we loved this place years ago but will never return.

Produce we picked up was decent but the employees left little to be desired. The strawberries lasted about 2 days more at home, luckily we ate most of the them already. Doubt we'll ever make a return trip.

Our experience at this food stand was lack luster. The older woman who was taking orders had too much attitude. And the fact that she boldly shared her politics was very unattractive. She made her true feelings apparent that she supported Trump. When you are dealing with the public to make a living, there is no room for airing your personal politics. I will NEVER buy food there again!!!!!

Strange little place on the side of route 50, they had tons of snacks, cheeses, drinks and of course Smith Island cakes. Outside they had a food area with a ton of seating. They only down part was some of the aisles were crazy small.

The produce here was awesome, but the main reason for 5 stars from us is the crab cake sandwich from Grumpy's BBQ - it was phenomenal!

The service is the worse! I'm from this area, and y'all do not represent the Eastern Shore in a good way at all. This was beyond ridiculous. I'll never stop here again! Just rude for no reason! Took me and my money to the next business!

Horrible service. Not a smile to be found anywhere. And was reprimanded when I got confused with the fact you were supposed to bring the basket of fruit up to register vs putting it in bag. Total opposite the vibe one would expect from a produce stand. Won’t be back. Too many others to choose from.

Excellent crab cakes that can be eaten there outside or taken to go uncooked. They gave me ice so I could take them back to Philadelphia with me. Also fantastic produce and Smith Island cakes (the seven layer chocolate icing and vanilla cake that originated in the area)

I was so excited to get a chance to stop by the market before they closed. Unfortunately, the cashier was not very nice and a bit rude. I ended up spending way too much on baked goods for my office and the holidays all of which tasted like cardboard.I was so disappointed, since any time I have purchased Amish Products they are just amazing. Not this time unfortunately. :-(

I’ve been here a few times to get double yolk eggs . Never had an issue with the fruit or food but employers are rude and grouchy. I feel like telling them to smile once in a while . It’s not that bad. Had an older woman twice and an older man . Both grouchy otherwise this place is great. Customer service is key !!!!

You were just mean and prejudice. I ordered a whiting sandwich. I ask questions he told me it was a big piece of fish. I get the bag but I figure maybe he cut it up. As we were pulling off I saw the cook and another gentlemen laughing and looking. Look what he gave me for $11.50. It's OLD HARD AND DARK. Shame

OMG this was my first day going and I'm already obsessed. First off Grumpys the food truck was delicious and very well priced. The owners are so sweet it's as if they made the food with all the love in their hearts. The ambience and their cat George was so cute as a cat lover I was touched to see the cutie. Not to mention that I didn't even need to sprinkle old bay on my fries they were sprinkled throughout and tasted like a fruit from the garden of eden.2nd off the store is sooooo cute!!!. Things are very well priced and there's lots and lots to buy I'm dairy , spices , plants and even baked goods it's a great place to go. I very well highly recommend this place to anyone it's amazing and that's something to say seeing as it's my first time coming and I'm now obsessed

Great variety fresh fruits and vegetables. The dried herbs and spices is not to be missed. Baked goods are amazing. If you have not tried one, they have Smith Island cakes

Love stopping in here. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of fresh vegetables and fruit. Bought dried fruit, and a pie!! Homemade pasta of all types. Then we got 2 cheeseburgers from Grumpys food truck. I'm not sure what was in the smoker, but pulled pork, brisket, chicken were on the menu along with many other dinners. Ice cream too!!The setting there was picture perfect along with many pumpkins, and mums.I highly recommend stopping in when you can. It's well worth it!!!

There are much better farm stands in the area. The produce wasn't as nice as the stands *at* farms and the bread we bought was moldy literally the next day. I'm guessing it had been there for a bit, unsold. Sucks to pay $6 for small loaf of bread and not get to use it.

Great quality produce and great prices. We always noticed this place but never stopped before. Im glad we finally did. From now on this will be part of our trip back home from the beach!

I LOVE the spice selection. Its the main reason we stop on the way home from the eastern shore. The prices are great and I'm able to find stuff that I can't find at my local stores. I also tried the classic smith island cake that they sell, never had it before. It was delicious but a little expensive at $6.99 a slice. The cantaloupe is also good and sweet and the corn was the best price i saw out of the farm stands around.This is my own personal taste and nothing against the store but I would worn against buying the sloopy joe seasoning mix thats in the clear plastic tub, its disgusting. It tasted overwhelming like onions and no other seasoning but also oddly sweet. My sister, who enjoys onions, and I ended up having too throw the meal away because it was gross.
