Went to see a friend and decided to stop at this little market! Loved it, they sell local foods from near by farmers and had blue point oysters!! Who knew, I will hit this place at least once a month. Very clean, employee's are very friendly. Thanks for the great small town (home) feel. Being a native of Sykesville I have seen the changes from farms to developments 😢 this town is not changing for some time! Love it

Use to be too notch seafood. It’s still decent but not as good as it use to. Still a good grocery store especially if tooLazy to drive to Walkersville or Woodsboro.

As a seafood lover, I've tried many places, but Trout's stands out. The staff is incredibly helpful, the variety of options is amazing, and the taste. Outstanding. Their deli is also great for a quick bite. A true gem in Woodsboro!

Came here to get a sub from the deli. It was real good. They have great customer service here. The folks seem friendly. Also there are a lot of things to purchase in regards to groceries. If you need that as well, they got you covered.

We have gotten crabs there many times over the years and we’re always good but this time not so much. We’re supposed to be #2 we’re very small some yeast like they were reheated and some had cracks in shell and no meat inside. Never had problems before but will think twice. Fore I buy them there again anytime soon. Weren’t wroth no $129 for what we we serviced.

The past 3 years have seen a lot of changes here, not so much the old country grocery now, more of a catch-all one stop with beer & wine. The deli is still good & as ever& the crabs are great, selection has suffered I think, name brands replacing local sources, progress it's called.

This is your typical family run neighborhood supermarket that is rather well equipped and has a terrific deli section and hot food section. It's great to have, this family has been in the business for quite a while. I've been going there for the last 6 years and like spending my money there. It's a good company to support, you won't go wrong. Two thumbs up

Normally we love Trouts but today was an exception. Ordered a half bushel of #2 crabs and 2 orders of steamed clams at 4 pm for 5 pm. Got there and crabs weren’t ready but clams were. Finally get the crabs at 5:40 pm and not only were they the wrong ones but now our clams are lukewarm. So instead of #2 crabs the sticker was for #1’s. Management wouldn’t even give them to us for the #2 cost when it wasn’t even our fault. Gave us a $15 discount and we will be eating cold clams. Cashier and manager was not very pleasant at all. So much for good customer service. Will think twice before getting my crabs from them again.

I purchased the fried chicken, green beans, mac and cheese, and apple/peach cobbler at the hot foods section. Everything was better than I expected and plentiful. I also purchased some lemons and a cantaloupe in the produce section. Both were of good quality. This is a market and not a real grocery store so the grocery selection is limited. As long as you're not picky about your product brands or need specialty items, you can probably find all the basic grocery items you need. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return for the hot foods and produce.

Considering how small the store is, I have a surprising amount of things. Are Del Rey Deli and prepared food section is quite good. Everyone that I've ever met that works there is genuinely happy to see you as a customer. It is so close to me - I live three blocks away it's just wonderful. I feel proud to go there and give them my support. Well worth the trip, three thumbs up

Store was much better. Seems like someone new is there. Clerks will not talk to you. Beer and wine taken over have the store. I don't go there as much. Use to go each day. Force to go to other stores because they don't have what I want.

Not like it use to be went to grab a bag of salad mix for dinner and all the salad mixes were brown and turning colors just check exp dates on things there

Thank good this is the only place we could find on our traveling and way to Airbnb house. We found everything we needed for dinner except beer. They don’t have alcohol at all but still fine. Good supermarket. Local. Btw they doing very nice grilled chicken. I saw lane of people waiting for chicken to get done, so I assume it’s very good, I even asked people 😂🙊

Great local store filled with a friendly team of people. The fried chicken is delicious and the deli sandwiches and stacked full of meat. A must stop for hungry travellers or local residents in need of supplies.

Covid review:Went in to get fried chicken (the best) guy who helped me was excellent. Friendly and found me things that weren’t out in the case. Woman working in the deli had mask way below nose, getting food for people. When I went to check out woman at the front talking to 2 teenaged employees mask below face. Just hanging out up front. This does not make me feel like they are taking all other safety precautions involving food in a grocery store.

Nice store. Employees are friendly and helpful. My only negative critique would be that several of the employees were not wearing their masks correctly. Their noses were hanging out the entire time I was in the store.

Amazing store with products I can't find anywhere else but more than one person was rude. Maybe it was rush hour on a Friday afternoon but very surprising. I'll give it another go and fingers crossed for a better experience. Otherwise, great local store!
