I discovered South Paw Pet Resort recently while I had the pleasure of training an adorable dog for one of my customers. While doing so, I had the opportunity to visit this facility several times. The resort is not only beautiful, clean, and relaxing, but it also has an incredibly caring and trustworthy staff. I never had to worry about the dog's wellbeing while I was away because the staff took such great care of him. Every time I picked up my furry friend, he was healthy and happy, which made me very glad.Denise, the resort's owner, was very accommodating and let us use a beautiful, clean, grassy fenced area with plenty of room for running, training, and playing with my furry friend's dog Rico.It's clear that Denise and her staff genuinely love the animals they care for. If you're looking for a reliable and welcoming place to care for your precious pet, look no further! You'll love this place, and your furry friend will too!

Could not be happier with South Paw Pet Resort. Warm, friendly and super clean. My dog has some nervous tendencies and was excited when he arrived on his second visit. That tail wag confirmed his comfort as well as mine. Denise and staff are very accommodating to specific needs. Thank you for amazing service for everyone's fur babies.

We were first timers and had never left our dog (Teddy) at a kennel before. When I walked in I knew that we would be in great hands. The kennel is unbelievably clean and immaculate! The owner was very knowledgeable, organized, and patient with us. She made me feel very comfortable leaving our fur baby while we went on vacation. We were so impressed with our experience and I can tell our dog had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend South Paw

As owners in Ocean City we were looking for a place to take care of our 2 YO yellow lab Lily. Since South Paw is only a half hour away we gave them a try. The minute we walked in we knew Lily would be fine. The place is spotless and the staff is very friendly and caring. They didn't hesitate to show us all around. We liked the big grassy play area. You can trust Denise and her crew to take great care of your baby.Denise was even kind enough to text me these photos and word her messages as if they came from Lily!

Took my dogs here during my beach vacation in ocean city. The place is very well kept and the owner Denise was so kind and even sent pictures of my boys during the week. I had never boarded them before but I felt good knowing they were in great hands after I left. When I picked them up they were so excited and happy at the end of the week. Great experience & would recommend to anyone!

I highly recommend South Paw Pet Resort! Beautiful and clean facility. This was the first time Jake was boarded. Denise would send us pictures of Jake playing with his new friend. She would also text me on how he was doing to help ease our mind. Jake had a wonderful stay. We will definitely go there again! Denise and Heather are the BEST!!!

We have taken our dog here for the last four years. Denise is always wonderful. She is friendly, caring and so incredibly attentive to all the needs our dog has. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does. Our dog, Tiger, is always so excited to be there with them. We will ALWAYS bring all of our dogs here when staying on the eastern shore.

I love this place and my fur babies had a wonderful time there. I have 3 and was able to visit with them during their stay. They all got to stay together. It was comfortable and spacious for all 3 in their area. They got to run and play in a secured area in the backyard. The place is in a nice area close to Ocean City and other surrounding areas. Its neat, clean and prices are reasonable. The owner, Denise is kind, polite and attentive. She responds quickly to messages and communicates extremely well. I'm glad I chose this beautiful place for my fur babies and look forward to more stays in the near future.

It has been about a year or so of using South Paw Pet Resort to watch our doggy. She has stayed for as short as a single night, and as long as a few days. They are so friendly, and I never once felt uncomfortable with leaving our girl in their hands.

We absolutely LOVE it here, and more importantly, so does our dog! Denise does an amazing job making us feel better about leaving our dog here and our dog LOVES her!! Everyone who works here seems to love animals and their job. We will be using South Paw Pet Resort every year for our OCMD trip! Highly recommend.

We LOVE taking Fluffy to South Paw Pet Resort. Fluffy loves it too. We actually drive from the Western Shore of Md. to this wonderful resort when we need Fluffy to stay over for a few days. The owners are awesome and truly enjoy taking great care of our lovely pets. I wholeheartedly recommend South Paw Pet Resort to anyone looking for a wonderful away from the homestay. If you love visiting Ocean City, Rehobeth Beach, and the beaches in the area, this resort is conveniently located en route to the beaches.

I wish I could give South Paw 100 stars ⭐️ I simply can not recommend them enough !❤️ Not only did our Gracie girl have a great time, we felt very comfortable leaving her for the first time. Everyone was just so nice & accommodating with some last minute changes we had to make. It’s extremely clean & inviting, the fenced yard is fantastic & we loved that she was able to get a nice little bath & cleanup before we picked her up. Being able to communicate via text, and receive photos of her while we were away was just the best added touch. I’m not sure that’s really offered anywhere else. We looked around a lot, and researched various options for boarding, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. We will use South Paw for every MD & DE vacation !! Thank you so much John, Denise & Kelly for your love for these little fur babies

South Paws is THE place for doggie day care. Our Golden leaves happy, exercised, and always love hearing from Denise about the new friends she made while visiting. Have no qualms leaving Sadie for boarding at SP when the time comes..

This was our first time putting our dog Finn into a kennel, we were a little nervous since this would be his first time being away from us but when we picked him up he came back happier than ever! He got to play ball, run outside, and get lots of love and attention! The owners are amazing and sent us lots of updates and pictures!We HIGHLY recommend! Thank you so much South Paw!

We recently moved to the area and were looking for a place that would love our two black labs as much as we do. We scheduled a site visit and were impressed. Chelsea showed us around the facility and there was nothing off limits--the place was clean, the dogs being boarded seemed happy and enthusiastic. We made our reservation to board Lexi and Duke for 17 days. When we dropped them off, Chelsea escorted us right out to the play yard so they could do their business and lessen their anxiety about being left behind. Denise and John came out to introduce themselves to us and genuinely cared about our kids. We were very confident Lexi and Duke would be well cared for. They received a daily leash walk and even administered regular meds and cleaning for a chronic ear infection with Lexi. During our vacation, Denise sent us photos interacting with our kids. Upon our return, we called Denise to schedule a pick up time. She had all of Lexi and Duke's belonging gathered and waiting and she put the dogs out in the play yard so they could do their business and see us when we got there. Both looked and acted happy and healthy and they both acted very comfortable at the resort. We are super pleased with how well they both adjusted to being home again, which also indicates they weren't anxious being at the resort. We have already made another reservation for our next trip and appreciate the care and attention they received at South Paw. Thank you Denise!!

We were driving through to Outer Banks and decided to stop along the way to spend our anniversary in OC. We did a Google search and came across South Paw. What a wonderful find! So clean, professional, and so very kind! Our Phineas was happy and loved playing with the other dogs. Thank you for a great experience and taking such good care of our baby!

I don’t know why I haven’t left a review before!! But- if I could leave more stars- I would leave 100! Denise is our dogs mama from another and her husband John is awesome! You will never find a friendlier staff and someone that actually cares for your animals like it’s one of their own. Their facility is amazing (and extremely clean) and you will always be treated like family! They raise the bar in pet sitting- truly an amazing business! I thank God every day that we found them!

Stumbled upon this business a few years back because some of the kennels closer to my home were all booked up and they had an opening. Man am I glad I did. Absolutely the best kennel IMO. Extremely accommodating and the facility is so organized and clean. Really can't ask for anything more. Highly recommend!!

Planned a vacation to ocean city a month prior and found this pet resort. It's only a couple miles off rt. 50 so it worked out perfectly! I have a busy schedule and never have left my dog before and I was able to text back and forth the whole time with all my questions and they responded very quickly. Also being away I missed her and they communicated and sent pictures when ever I asked. Picked my dog up after 6 days and she was happy. I really am so grateful for south paw and the staff. This is by far the best place to take you furbabies while you're vacationing in OC. We are locals and have used this resort more than once. My dog always comes home so happy. The staff are absolutely wonderful in every way. They send pictures and updates to you while your pet is there. Cant beat it!
