This store is very conveniently located near where I work. They have regular groceries as well as made to order food, and their bakery is absolutely amazing. They have a large case of doughnuts that are freshly made. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Also, they have an attached liquor/package store, so you can avoid making a separate trip if you are shopping for a party or celebration.Lastly, they have a cool points program where you earn points as you shop that can be cashed in for products like knife sets and stuff.

I had placed an order for cake and balloons on Wednesday. (When I placed the order for both they said I could pay when I pick-up,which was on Saturday) The cake was perfect! The balloons however were not ready. (Had a note saying they need payed for before being made?) The florist that is in charge of putting together balloons had already left for the day. (So who was going to put together my balloons for my 2year olds birthday?) Thankfully Doreen (cashier) came to the rescue! Thanks to her my son had his balloons. (That I pre-ordered). I feel this should of been communicated better, I wouldn't of had an issue paying for them beforehand. Thank You Doreen!

The staff really adds to the ambiance - the seafood dept manager/representative is awesome; bakery staff always greets you with a smile as do the reps in meats and prepared foods, and cashiers. This matters!

I like going to Saubel's when I need meat they usually have a great selection of meats and most of the time fresh. Their prices are higher than anyone else in this area but their meat sales are the best. Prices are good when they have meat sales. Their store is very clean and most of the employees are very friendly and polite. There is one manager who always has an attitude she just never has a smile for anyone other than that store is good.

The very BEST! Nick runs the liquor store and is such a solid guy. Great prices and perfect bourbon store picks.The grocery store is awesome. Dont sleep on the donuts! They are fabulous! Prices are nice and you'll find just about anything you're looking for.

This store offers a wide variety of products throughout the store including hard to find items. Prices are reasonable. The ready to eat food is top quality and delicious. Bakery is great! The floral and gift area offers a unique selection to choose from. The store is clean and well taken care of. The entire staff is always friendly and glad to help if needed. When in the area I always shop here.

The young person in the beer store needs an attitude adjustment. She can't take a joke when another employee asked how much or do they get a discount on the purchase and I said 50% off. I spent over 500.00 there between food and drinks. Lazy dam kids. Nope not going back.

Saubels is super clean and has a great selection! The doughnuts are the best around! Their prices are a bit higher than some other local grocery stores, but I still go during their sales and to get those doughnuts!💯

Saubels has competitive pricing, friendly staff and a clean store. The alcohol selection is huge! If you can't find something ask the staff and they will help you find it. I really enjoy the fresh friend chicken saubels has to offer!

Just checked out, young male cashier, no greeting, no thank you, nothing. Store is in nice shape but zero engagement from staff. I shop here, Shrewsbury and Stewartstown. Only the Shrewsbury store mgr has the staff friendly and engaging

Pleasant shopping environment and friendly employees (besides one cashier, but can't criticize the whole store for one bad employee). I enjoy my shopping trips here, the only thing that would make it better is if my phone had service in the store! You do not get phone service inside. If you need to call someone, you have to go outside.

Very glad we stopped yesterday! Been by this store many times but never stopped in until yesterday. Very impressed with the cleanliness of everything and the selections. Prices were areal pleasant surprise as well. Will be stopping in the future as well!

The pharmacist denied a prescription, and as i pulled out used lottery tickets out of the trash, i was told "we dont alliw that anymore". Wft? The only reason i see would be an employee taking them all. Besides their prices are that of a fancy grocery store. Easy Saubles in whitford...you won't rule the world.

Went in to check things out. Great bakery, seafood, meat and deli. I would have come back for just those specific departments. Prices a little high on regular groceries but the Customer service was the downside. Had a price problem on bakery items and the cashier was a very “Not my problem” type. Said I could go over to bakery and take it up with them. Which would have meant stopping my order that was completely rung up and getting back in line again. No thank you! Missed out on some new business and referrals.

I love this place...and not just because I work there. Very friendly atmosphere and incredibly friendly people, and our liquor side of the store has a larger than most selection of beers, locally owned wines and liquors. You should come in and try some of our store picks and visit when we have our vendor tastings😏😋quite an experience.
