The CVS at Altima Pl is one of the best!! My family had suggested this location for various reasons but especially how helpful and personable the staff and especially the pharmacist. They, in my opinion go above and beyond expectations and I have yet to be disappointed. Their timely acquisition and fulfillment of orders are so soothing and comforting.I give this CVS a 10 in every area. The store itself was so inviting and clean as a whistle.

I love visiting the CVS at Altamont Pl in White Plains! This location is always clean and the staff is friendly! I use this pharmacy often and I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences. The pharmacy staff are kind and knowledgeable. I’m able to drop my rx’s off and pick them up within the hour and if it is going to be longer, they have always let me know! This location isn’t the closest one to me, but I’d rather drive a few more minutes because their customer service is always great!

Customer service nightmare!Unfortunately, I had a delayed, unfriendly experience at this pharmacy location. Overall, there is a lack of professionalism here. Please note: my experience is my own, but I believe it is typical at this location. We were notified via phone that the medication was ready. To my surprise, I was told upon arrival it would be 20 more minutes by a very unfriendly pharmacy tech. After waiting over 20 minutes, I got back in line and was told, although the medication was ready, the pharmacist needed to sign off on it.I was put to the side holding line, and once the tech told me to come back after 15 minutes to the front of the line, the medication rang up the wrong price without the coupon. When I asked for the coupon to be applied, I was told to go stand in another line. After waiting 15 minutes in another line near the consultation area, the tech in that line asked me why I was there as I was about to approach her counter. The tech from the previous line then redirected me back to the original line. The tech from the original line told me she only sent me to the other line because there were other customers behind me she wanted to serve. I asked to speak with the pharmacist, or whoever was in charge of the pharmacy and the tech went over to the pharmacist and they began to whisper. The tech came back and told me the pharmacist was too busy to talk. The tech and pharmacist had this conversation no more than 15 to 20 feet in front of me, however, the pharmacist never looked up at me or offered any consolation or explanation for what occurred that day during my visit. Not only was this rude, but I noticed a pervasive rudeness amongst all 5 to 6 people who were working in this Pharmacy. There’s a reluctance on their part to serve the customers. The techs talk and laugh amongst themselves, but they have no desire to interact with the customers and resolve their issues in a timely manner, because they really don’t care! I watched them count down to pulling down their garage door for lunch as it was approaching 1:30pm by getting customers cleared out of the lines only motivated by the fact that their break was coming up.The sad part about how long it took for my medication was I arrived around 1215pm and left at 1:15pm. After I was constantly being moved from one line to the next, ignored by the techs and pharmacist, and then expected to remain calm as a customer?Yes, I was as cordial as I could be under the circumstances, and never raised my voice, or gave them a piece of my mind, but it was very difficult! So, the best way I can describe how the pharmacy tech and pharmacist serve the people and interact with customers: it would be the movie “mean girls.”For those who are gravely ill, elderly and sick, need to take daily medication, and/or you are taking care of someone ewho needs medication, this is not the place for you to get medication. An ounce of empathy and service from these workers would improve this location exponentially! They can start with the basics like smiling, greeting customers, adjusting their attitudes, being aware of their nonverbal expressions, being more efficient, offering help, and getting a more people friendly pharmacist.Ultimately, the pharmacist at this location Shanice is setting the tone; I hope to come back and see improvements! No one has time for this especially whenever they’re sick!

CVS should not allow employees to treat customers like they are bothering them, when a customer is there to pickup their medications. Also, CVS should not employ Nicholas as a manager, if he doesn't wear a name tag identifying himself as the manager, dresses like he just pulled his clothes out of his hamper and doesn't want to do anything about his employees rude behavior. Nicholas would not file my complaint. He only referred me to this survey, which seems indicative of how CVS feels about customer service, as a whole. Now, I have experienced why people have been telling me to go somewhere else, for my prescription needs.

For the most part they are always very nice and in too of things. Even when our doctor messed up one of our prescriptions they worked with us to fix the situation.
