I would love to know how it's acceptable to open your pharmacy 8 minutes late and with no sense of urgency and no attempt or thought of offering an apology to the people who have been waiting. When the young lady finally opened, she was dry and nasty and could care less that it was past the time they were supposed to be opened. When someone is sick and in need of their prescription, 8 minutes can feel like an hour to them, this to me is just egregious and I am not sure how CVS allows this pharmacy to get away with providing this kind of service in the community. Clearly from other reviews they are doing an overall poor job. I will never have my prescriptions sent here again nor will I patronize this location for even a pack of gum. Just awful.

WORST CVS EVER!!!! The pharmacy is ALWAYS BACKED UP…. Normal right? WRONG!!!! It’s at least 8 ppl that work back here and they are never prepared!!! They send you msgs saying your meds are ready then when you get there you still have to wait AT LEAST 30 min!!!!!! The manager could give two S#!%? What’s goin on!!!! A literal joke!!!!

I understand being short staffed and having a work load that might be overwhelming. However, what I can’t understand is being so nonchalant about providing people good customer service. It doesn’t make sense that 36 hours after a prescription was electronically sent that I am still without my pain medication. There is absolutely NO communication about the status of meds and there doesn’t seem to be anyone who can answer your questions. Do better CVS!

The Mechanicsville, MD CVS pharmacy & front staff are very good as helping many seniors in this area with medical needs..whether RX or OTC questions. They have patience of angels & keep us healthy!

I just moved to the area and had to transfer my prescriptions over to this location. I was worried that my insurance wouldn't cover it, the pharmacy tech told me to look into GoodRX while she gave my original pharmacy (out of state) a call to see what she could do. She was kind enough to give me a call back and put my mind at ease, letting me know my insurance still covered my medication, and that she would have it ready for me within the hour. Very kind and go out of their way to make sure their clients are taken care of.

Prescription was placed on a Thursday by doctor. It was now a Saturday and prescription was never filled. They dont answer the phone lines either. GO SOME PLACE ELSE TO HAVE YOUR PRESCRIPTION FILLED. unless you want to put your life in jeopardy! 0 Stars!

Pharmacy staff acted as if I wasn’t at the counter while having personal conversations and when I asked if they were closed (because the drive thru was closed during operating hours) the cashier rudely then decided to help me. Customer service has drastically dropped at this location.

I must say my last two reviews have been negative. Ive been about 3 times in the last 2 months and the service has improved for me 100%. The staff is only as good as the head. Thanks too the New Pharmacist her positive attitude as moved to the rest of the staff. Thank yiu

If you want your medication and service don't go to this CVS. They are lazy and incompetent. Don't ask them questions because they will never have answers for you.

I have been on hold for over 30 minutes to ask a simple question. When I go into this pharmacy, there are usually 6 people in the pharmacy area. Why can’t one of them answer the phone. I understand wait times, but over 30 minutes. I finally hung up.

Always, you have to wait on the phone for at least 30 minutes before someone picks up. Always a line at the drive thru. Expect to wait there too for at least 30 minutes. They do however fill my prescriptions every month in a timely manner.

The entire staff is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, & NONCHALANT. They have no consideration for customers' time. The drive thru is always packed with cars so I went inside. It took 30 minutes for a prescription drop off; to be informed the product was not in stock. When I requested to speak with the manager on duty I was advised he wasn't there. I asked for the store number and was told "You can just look that up." So I did look it up to write this review.

If I could have given this store 0 stars I would have. Will NEVER visit this store again! Came here on a Friday night at 10:51 pm when they are set to close at 11 pm. Needed to literally just run in to get cough medicine for my daughter. Something that was going to take me all of 2 minutes. Walked up to the door and the door was locked. Saw the associate working the register and attempted to get her attention. She looked my way then immediately looked away. Attempted to call the store to Iet them know I just needed to run in quickly but no one answered. Ultimately I left and traveled up the road to the 24 hour Walgreens in La Plata. Will only be visiting them now for my pharmacy and OTC medicine needs. If you live in the area please do NOT frequent this location!

This CVS is always busy, so if you want a place that will stop what they are doing to fill YOUR script, this isn’t it. What I have found is that as long as you are reasonable about your expectations and set those expectations with the staff, they will usually come through.The double drive-thru is very convenient with the kids in the car or when you’re not trying to pass your contagious bug to the people inside.

I love Nicole over at the pharmacy. Every time I call and inquire about my father’s prescription she states my fathers name and I’m like, “How do you know I’m talking about him!” She knows her customers! She’s kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. The pharmacy doesn’t get much credit for all that they do. We are grateful to you all. Thank you Nicole!

No problem with the store itself, but the pharmacy is incredibly difficult to get in touch with. I have called on three different days to transfer my prescription to this location and I have been left on hold each time until I lose my patience and hang up, which is usually after 10 minutes or so of waiting. I would highly recommend getting prescriptions filled elsewhere due to the poor service at this location.

If I could give them no star I would. They are the worst cvs I have ever been to. The wait is extremely long and the start is rude. They act like they have no care in world. I was even given someone else’s prescription once.

Pharmacy Staff is very inattentive when guest walk up to the pick up side of counter. Today I went to pick up a prescription and I was acknowledged as soon as I walked up but then it took 6 minutes and 42 seconds before I was acknowledged again and then 2 minutes more before I was assisted!

Came for a scheduled Covid test appointment. 45 min and still 3rd in line. Staff does not appear to pay any attention to the drive through. I sent someone inside and was told to stay in drive through. What is the point of the testing appointment? Why have Covid testing be done at the same window as pharmacy? Wish they could take a class from Chick Fil A on logistics.

Worst place to get prescriptions, the staff is rude. I dropped off my prescription at 10am the pharmacist said it would be an hour and a half I come back 4 hours later and it still isn’t ready. Ridiculous

I only gave one star because you can not give ZERO stars! Went there today and arrived at 3:50 pm. The person signing in before us was patient number 2. After we went through the whole process of signing up via the kiosk, at the very end it said, "Sorry, we are not taking any more patients today." The rules say that you must be there 30 minutes before they close. Today it is 5:30 pm and we were signing in at least by 4pm. An hour and half, two patients and they are NOT TAKING ANY MORE PATIENTS TODAY. They give you a number to call, so I did. No help there either. What a big friggin waste of time!Not a great start to a new service CVS!

CVS White Plains got me my first COVID-19 shot (Moderna), 24 hours after I became eligible in the District of Columbia, where it’s so hard to get appointments.Got it at precisely the time scheduled. So many staff deployed to take care of this vaccine rollout. Forever grateful! 🙏🏾

SLOWWWWWW pharmacy. Waiting in the drive through line now for a prescription that’s ready. Got here at 4:12pm.. it’s now 5:08pm. Finally at the window but the tech hasn’t even opened the drawer to get my ID’s. If you have somewhere to go, don’t stop by here first. Slow, slow, slow.

This CVS is so slow been sitting here in the drive up window for 20 minutes. Hit the button 2 times . All i get is . Someone will be with u . Damn leg is killing me so i cant walk inside .No one is in the line but me . This place sucks . Going to have all my medication moved to the CVS in La Plata Md.

I always receive prompt service and the pharmacist is always ready to answer any questions you may have. If you get on their call list, they will call you when your prescription is ready for pick up.

Waiting over 24hrs (and still waiting) for Rapid Test Results.If you call in to inquire you'll hear the most staticky, pre-recorded robot voice that does nothing to answer any of your inquiries.
