What an awesome little gem in the middle of Maryland! This souvenir shop has such a pleasant atmosphere and small country town feel. It is an old church from the 1800s. The owners/employees are very nice and helpful. You will not go wrong stopping by and shopping through all of the interesting and fun things to buy. I am so glad I finally took the time to check it out.

First time at The Maryland Store, although I have previously ordered online. Cute little shop nicely packed with all things Maryland!!! I purchased several Christmas gifts, as did my husband. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and check them out!!

I discovered this store by accident because I was taking a trip overseas and wanted to buy family members and friends gifts from Maryland. The lady was so helpful and so courteous that I ended up ordering twice and I was more than pleased with absolutely everything that I got . They had a great deal on Maryland cookbooks as well as many other small items to give us gifts. I got them for men, women and children, and I am so happy with the purchase.

This was my first visit to the store; I recently moved to Baltimore and wanted to find good representations of Baltimore and Maryland to send a French friend as a gift.The store is attractively laid out, with a wide selection of nice items at varying price points. Moreover, the people working there are very friendly and welcoming, which represents Maryland well. The photo shows the items I purchased to send to my friend.

Great selection of Maryland themed memorabilia in an historic 1800s church building. Eclectic selection ranging from magnets, signage from the local areas, clothing, candles, and Marilyn made soaps. Many items in the Maryland flag themed motif, as well as crab themed items, galore. Some items do look handcrafted and prices are reasonable. Right on Maryland, route 32, Sykesville Road. I picked up a Maryland flag themed lanyard and a small crab shaped cookie cutter.

Such a great place to get Maryland themed items. I needed some blank note cards and picked up some of the Maryland Flag waving. Also grabbed 2 of the sodas for our teen boys & a can of MD Crab Soup (decent base starter when I only want a small amount). Friendly folks too!

Amazing and fast customer service. I received something that wasn't quite perfect but was intended as a gift. They had a replacement mailed out the same day I received the previous one and it's wonderful. Definitely the place to get all things Maryland.

Very quaint and out of the way, all things Maryland store . The manager was a sweet young lady and we enjoyed browsing the store. We settled on condensed cream of crab soup and some vegan soap to remind us of Cunningham Falls in the dead of winter. I'm glad we stopped. We'll go again as we pass thru beautiful Maryland.

The cashier was really pleasant. Sometimes, I go places as a black person hesitant to go to a predominantly white area or store. Here, they lady was nice and didn't profile me, she was helpful and I found Maryland postcards! Nice place for Maryland souvenirs!

Love this shop!! It's always a pleasure to browse thru this lovely little store. There always seems to be new & different items between their vintage clothing, antiques and the huge "Maryland" items to select from. I've never been disappointed popping in there and usually find at least one treasure or another to take home.

I drove an hour out of my way to get an ornament here, and the person working refused to acknowledge my existence...even when we were the only two people left in the store (she was very helpful to the others before they left). Ultimately, I couldn't bring myself to buy anything because of this (lack of) service. Also pretty tough to buy anything when the sole employee is pretending you're invisible and you can't ask them for help.

Situated in an old church with a cemetery behind it. Everything Maryland and then some. Great store if you are visiting from another state. Little gifts for all ages. Reasonable prices. I like the drive out to the country.

Over priced items that serve no purpose. The store itself is very crowded in an attempt to have more items for sale. If you are not the only person in the store you will spend more time waiting for someone to pass you then you will looking at items.I still don't understand the obsession with the state flag but if you do you can buy things for a markup here.There are plenty of stores that are in more accessible locations with more room to browse.
