There is not enough that can ever be said when it comes to consistency and above all, my experiences at this Safeway have been consistently positive. The store sits as the anchor in a strip mall which contains a few other stores, including an outstanding pizzeria. This particular location has ample parking (which is well lit at night), provides relatively new, decent quality shopping carts and well maintained sanitation stations in a well kept, clean environment. Like many Safeway stores, this one houses its very own Starbucks, which sits immediately to the left of the far right entrance and opposite the store’s well stocked floral department. The staff is seemingly stable, courteous, helpful and appears to be working in what they deem as a positive atmosphere. Management has remained exceedingly steady and proven themselves reliable and honorable at every opportunity throughout the ten or more years which I have shopped the store.In short, this is a super clean, well run and convenient Safeway and without question my go to grocery store in Westminster. Consequently, I am delighted to be able to leave them such this glowing review as a ten year plus customer.

Delicious pumpkin pie 🥧 😋 from Safeway. Even better, it was 50% off. Went into Safeway for a loaf of bread 🍞 and came out with my bread, half pound of sharp cheese, and the pumpkin pie. It has been quite a while since I shopped Safeway. I'm glad I was at Safeway as a great selection with lots of deals.

Always good service in the Safeway shopping center. I drive down (17) minutes to get groceries brought to my car. I'm a bit disabled. So I also use their pharmacy which is quick service and I get my haircuts right next door. A decent Chinese place at the other end a large liquor store and a good dry cleaners. There's something in there for everyone.

I'm new to the area moved from Miami FL.I noticed that they had a rewards program so I asked what did I have to do to join and they told to do it when I check out, but when I got to the register the cashier was not helpful at all she got flustered with my questions and was rude told me to step aside because I was holding up the line.I just wanted to get the discount for my first purchase, so I whent to the customer service and Stephanie D was there so I told her what happened without even knowing she was the store manager,she explained everything to me and took her time showing me how the app works.Thank you for making a bad experience to an awesome one!!!

I shop at this store all the time and usually I don't encounter any problems. I normally will get seafood and veggies. One day I was craving sea scallops. I noticed that 2 ladies work in seafood dept. The older one is great, she's nice & friendly. The other one the younger one that one should not be working with the public. I went in there one day about 5:55 in she said we are closed. We close at 6pm because we have no help, with a tone that it was a bother for her to wait on me. She was very RUDE & MEAN!!! She did ask me what I wanted, and just like that What Do You Want!! I said scallops I love them and they are a quick dinner delight... I went back to the store yesterday at 5:50 figuring I got there just in time, but the seafood was covered up and the same MEAN lady was working. So I decided it's not worth it, I was not in the mood for round 2 with this woman. I just settled on something else for dinner. It's a shame when you have to shop somewhere else to avoid someone. When you have employee's working with people your should hire people that are friendly. This she is not!!! STAY AWAY from the younger woman is the seafood dept. She will ruin your day...

Don't get curbside pickup. I have done 2 pickups from this store. The 1st time I received moldy blueberries, wrinkly tomatoes, and soft grapes. I thought it was a fluke and gave them another shot. My second pickup I received blatantly rotten apples. I wish I had taken pictures the first time. I'm so disappointed. This store is definitely not what it used to be.

So I stop in sometime ms and I go to the Starbucks! The staff is so fun, friendly, and love to chat with me. We always are all smiling and laughing. They also put out samples for new drinks that you maybe never tried, so you can get it later if you like it. It’s also clean. I can tell the staff puts in a lot of hard work for customer satisfaction.

Prices are good in comparison to other locations.They are not as short staff. There is always someone to help.Fruits and vegetables seem to be always fresh and the store is clean.

Terrible experience, won't go back again! I went in to get groceries for my Mom, who has Shingles & can't leave the house. They wouldn't take the check because it didn't have my name on it. I WAS JUST IN THERE THE WEEK BEFORE & USED A CHECK WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS!! I explained this to the cashier & she replied, "I can't help it if all our employees don't follow the rules" There isn't anything posted about this policy & as I said, I didn't have ANY issues the week prior. I had to go to the car & get money. The Customer Service rep couldn't care less about what happened or my Mom's situation. I should've just left & not gotten the groceries! I will NEVER go to a Safeway (this one or any other one) & will tell EVERYONE about my experience! I'd leave ZERO stars if Google would let me!

This is my local store location, and I come here for the mixed fruit bowl that I've come to enjoy. I'm not sure what has brought about the change, but there are more frequent occurrence of those fruit bowls not being in stocks and the bowls are not as dull as they once were. The staff here are among the best in my area grocery stores, though, and I really appreciate that.

They only had 3 regular registers open and 4 self check outs on a Sunday Morning. The staff member supervising the self checkouts was very unpleasant. The produce was a good quality, but the wait in line and staff member was not a good experience.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The store is always kept clean. They're always fully stocked. I never go here and they're out of what I need. Pricing is average.

It had just what I wanted and it was clean and serves was great. I was delighted to see that the prime rib roast was still $6.99 pd like it has been during the holidays each year.I just came to check if it was going to be outrageous but it was the same price it has been like I said each year.Thank You

just went here today 5-23-23 and all of the citrus was rotten. lemons were fuzzy and green, so was grapefruit, mangoes were so old the skin was wrinkled, sales weren't that great. I ended up spending around $160 for honestly nothing. didn't even get enough to make a meal.

Displays offer sale items, but wrong size items on display that ring up 2x higher than posted sale price. Only offer to remove it from total when it is questioned.Also management did not seem concerned at all that produce marked .99/lb was ringing up at $1.98/lb!

Safeway has been here a while now and we are able to find what we need. Produce is fresh and the have a great selection of items in the vegetarian area.Plenty of parking, a Subway is nearby as well as a Burger King.I also got my flu shot and covid booster.

This has been my go-to grocery for the last few years but now I'm done. I've put up with the long lines and the bare shelves even though other local groceries appear to be well stocked. If the staff is helpful and doing their best, I'll stick with you. But last night I was waiting at the deli with another customer and no deli employees were coming to the front. A Safeway employee went behind the counter, chatted with another employee in the back, passed us again without eye contact, and left. And still no help at the deli! The next time I spotted this employee it was at checkout where she was a few aisles down chatting away with 3 other employees, none of them doing work of any kind. When I asked another employee her title, she said, oh, that's our manager! If that's the manager, I'm not feeling great about Safeway's future at that location. We have a lot of choices.

The store was clean and pretty well stocked. The produce was great. The tilapia fillets at the meat counter looked great and were delicious when I cooked them. I shop at Safeway all the time and will continue to.

My go-to store as it's closest to me. It is nice and clean and having a Starbucks on site is a plus. Love the fresh coffee smell as you walk in as well as the flowers. Prices are not the lowest but they're not terrible. Overall, a good shopping experience.

The only reason I come here is to shop for my elderly clients at Carroll Lutheran Village nearby.The prices for everyday grocery items are way too high for most things and they almost always have lots and lots of empty shelves. And if I'm paying 7.50 for a 12 pack of soda I shouldn't have to wander the parking lot looking for a cart.I'm assuming it's also not a very pleasant place to work, because two employees were loudly complaining about their coworker being lazy for taking a sick day while stocking produce. One employee was even making fun of their sick coworker for being concerned about catching covid. It's no wonder they've had a sign advertising that they're hiring at the front of the store for months.They have a nice selection of cheeses.

I seldom shop at Safeway because its not close to home but I was in the area so I stopped to purchase a few itemsI bought sodas. Safeway advertised buy 2 get two twelve packs for free. Well before I left the store I checked my recept. They charged for all four twelve packs. I went to the customer service. The manager was nice. Checked the shelf and refunded me 16 dollars. I said I hope you adjust the computer error because it will happen to other customers. She replied "it happens all the time!" (Didn't say anything about correcting the problem)Customers always check your receipt!!!

Safeway is always clean.Employees are always polite friendly and helpful.When something is on sale it is usually a good buy. But as far as regular everyday pricing I can not afford to shop there.I go there If I need something after midnight that can't wait until morning because they are open. I like the store just not the prices!

I went to the deli after church on Sunday just to get some deli meat and cheese for the week, Joe in the deli was really helpful! He sliced my Primo Buffalo chicken perfectly on the first try, he was very knowledgeable on the different selections of meats and cheeses. All around it was a great experience

I ordered online and went to pick it up. When I talked to the cashier and the manager because the total price was different, I was told that the price was different but they said the computer was not working properly. So I told him to refund the difference, but he said he couldn't. I don't understand why the difference cannot be refunded.I will never go to this shop again. It's the worst.
