We had a successful first time out looking for HoCo dresses at LUX. Their dresses are Stunning! Jess (☀️) was Wonderful giving us assistance & suggestions how to accessorize the dress we purchased. We will definitely be frequenting LUX for future formal occasions.

Expensive and poor quality, one wash of my dress and it shrunk . Couldn’t wear it again. I remember this one time I went in and an older lady made a comment about me wearing a mask and how it’s ineffective etc. I just smiled and brushed it off because I was here to shop not talk politics but I could tell this store didn’t seem that welcoming of people who wore masks (let just put it that way ). There’s a bunch of nice shops like cultivated (very nice people) so just go there or shop outside of of Westminster md

Really pretty prom dresses! Highly recommend. The ladies even help you pick out ones, and pick out some they think would look good on you. The help you put the dresses on since the backs are complex. A wide variety of sizes, styles and colors. Many dresses come in multiple colors to choose from. Some even have pockets, POCKETS PEOPLE! the seamstress costs 38$ a hour. And she works quick. Would defeinetly suggest to those going to prom, or even a bridesmaid dress.

First time shopper today. Anna was so helpful, friendly and attentive. I haven't received wonderful sales attention like this in years at any store. The clothes are beautiful and it's so nice to shop and see cute clothing not found at every other woman's clothing store. Highly recommend for your spring fashion!

An amazing little shop on Main Street. I walked by with a friend and we decided to stop in. There was a cute little Yorkie dog that greeted us too!! Can never go wrong with puppies. The clothes here are so beautiful and all reasonably priced. I didn’t actually buy anything that day but I will be back FOR SURE. Very fair prices and the woman at the front counter was super sweet. I could look around in here for hours.

My daughter and I were shopping this weekend for her first prom dress. We went to several shops. Or final stop was at Lux. I wish we had gone there first. It was such a great experience. We had a great time trying in different styles. The staff was helpful without hovering. They offered their opinions when asked and answered our questions. They are experienced and knowledgeable. We were even there after they were closed and we never felt rushed. Anna and Judy were great and made our time there great. Thank you ladies for helping my daughter find the perfect dress! She is beautiful and she is going to have a fabulous time. She is going to be sending all of her friends to Lux for their dresses.

My daughter and I had a fantastic experience at Lux shopping for a Prom dress! Anna and Sterling were knowledgeable, helpful, honest, full of great recommendations and had an awesome fashion sense! This will be our first stop next Prom! I even managed to find some really great items for a birthday gift for a family member! Lux is not just for Proms! Go check it out!

They estimated my daughter's size bc they didn't have the dress any smaller in stock, ordered it too big, took over a week to receive in store. When she tried it on, they informed me that the alteration was extra, good luck trying to get anyone to do the alterations in time for prom, but that they refer customers to this person. Ok, frantic call to this person, who requires a $50 cash deposit and will bill the rest upon completion. We were had, no choice. After 4 trips to boutique, we ended up with a average gown that cost a fortune. The arrangement smacks of racketeering.

It is so wonderful to find a new clothing boutique in Westminster that offers cute clothes at affordable prices. Until now Westminster had little to offer except for the generic and dull big box clothing stores that are all over the place. This store has something for everyone including cute jewelry and accessories. So excited to find this place and I will be back!

The staff are extremely rude and condescending. They are judgemental and snobby. The items sold are way over priced and not of good quality. It's a shame that the Hickory Stick that used to occupy this space shut down. There is zero customer service happening at this space. This is the place to shop if you are pretentious, want to over spend, be talked down to, and have things fall apart on you. I so wanted to like this store because it looked so cute, I was very sadly disappointed.

Very expensive!!!! Took advantage of us as far as pricing for alterations!! Brought my dress home after it was "steamed" only to find a stain on it! Do NOT GO TO LUX!!!
