Really nice store with a good selection. I am in 1-2 times a week for crickets and super worms. We buy our fluff bedding, dog/cat/bird/rabbit/hedgie/hamster/reptile food here. I also frequently buy dog/cat toys and treats. Hedgie enclosure was nicer and cheaper here vs. online. Nice supply of bird feeders. They have chick's every spring. Every day the sell/adopt out reptiles and small animals.Staff has always been friendly. Highly recommend the store.

Its... nice. I bought my first set of baby chicks here and they're thriving at almost 2months old now, the prices seem okay and I love the dog treat section for my pit. Sometimes the employees are kind of rude and other times they're perfectly friendly. I'm not sure what's up with that but it seems like the youngest employees are definitely the nicest. I'll continue going because I love the store itself. Anyways here's a bunch of pics of my chicks that I purchased here. They are so happy and growing so well. I had two leghorns with poopy butt when I first brought them home but we got them all cleaned up and they're doing great now with no more issues. I love these mother cluckers so much!

I purchased 6 peeps from here and I lost 1 and paid 12 95 and they won't replace it. Never buying anything there again. I would ask them what there policy is before buying expensive breeds.* Because they told me they dont replace any bird purchased. Even if it's been less than 24 hours.

Love their selection the store is very nice and clean. Bowman’s has a wide healthy variety of foods and treats for just about all pets.I have been a customer for many years besides food and treats I have purchased a couple Guinea pigs and chicks from this store, I have never lost any animals I have purchased from here just from old age. I do think the staff could be a bit kinder you get a very unwelcoming feeling when you enter the store, hopefully you don’t have a question. Anyway we’re not there to make friends unfortunately we’re there for our pets we love at home.

Do not by chicks from them i got 1 and it passed away overnight and they won’t do anything about it i would go to tractor supply before I buy chicks here again after spending that much money there works are rude and my chicks I got from tractor supply and actually making it through i would give a 0 star rating

Very bad customer service employees are very lazy and i was trying to buy a rabbit but the employee wouldn’t even let me touch them and the manager said we don’t have time to let customers touch the rabbits… well then i guess i don’t have time shopping here. I would’ve adopted one if i could have pet it and made a connection with it. They said it stresses them out by petting them but id imagine their feet being cut up by the metal cages stresses them out even more lmao

This is a great store for finding pet feed of all types. I mainly come here for chicken feed, bedding and supplies. All the workers are very friendly and helpful. They carry Homestead Harvest (local MD feed) and Kahlmbach feeds which are both high quality feeds. My only complaint and reason for knocking off 2 stars is that they don't vaccinate their chicks for Marek's disease.

It is very rare that I find what I need for all the critters (horse, cat, and dog) in one spot, but bowman's has a great selection. Made a stop in on a whim in between work and so glad I did. Now I know I can pop in when I need something!

Very disappointed that they will no longer be doing business with the company who makes our parakeet feed. Apparently someone didn't sign a license?? Cashiers are NEVER friendly. Most stand around and chat, never greet us when we come in, never ask if we need assistance and when we bring up our items, barely speak. This is across the board and has been for years. Since they don't carry our parakeet food, we won't have to shop there any longer.

Bowmans Feed and Pet is a beautiful store. Well organized and stocked. I was very impressed with the variety of wellness dog food products. We will be going back and doing our pet food shopping and Christmas shopping.
