Friendly and welcoming with a helpful service attitude. Stopped by on bicycles with friends, left a phone by accident. Calling them, they immediately mobilized a team and found the phone in under two minutes, checking under cushions of the comfortable store patio, checking the bath house, checking the porta-potties, etc. Great people in a gorgeous spot.

Joe is a great, old school mechanic. It was very beneficial to work with him. He could not have been more correct in his diagnosis of a missing, 24 inch prop. His expertise is very appreciated.

This is a great place! If you are looking for river life atmosphere with some great people this is the place. The weekends are exciting and the park is full. It is mostly seasonal campers but there is some room for a few transients like us. We were here for 11 days and the crew was very accommodating.

We are new boat owners and moved into our slip at Goose Bat Marina about a month ago. The staff and other boat owners have been really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is quiet and serene and great for entertaining on your boat and watching sunsets.

Great place to access the Port Tobacco and Potomac rivers. Good vibe in the summer. Has all the basics needed in the store. Nice and family staff.

Very friendly and welcoming, clean, in a pretty rural area. It sits on a quiet bay leading out to the Potomac River. There are social activities in the summer that get people together. Lots of families here, everyone is helpful.

Stopped here for marine fuel, the attendant was awesome at helping us get tied up...they had both 87 and 90 non-ethonal fuel. Marina and surrounding area is beautiful!

This is a review about camping. Most of the posted reviews are about boating and the marina. The transient camping spots are small, cramped, basically like a parking lot. When we arrived, the grass was very long and there were beer cans in a dirty fire pit. We were inundated with horseflies and other biting flies the entire stay, armed with fly swatters the entire time. The wonen’s bathroom was not clean. One shower stall had a slight drip of water. The other one had a clogged drain. Barely warm water. No sinks for washing dishes. Sites have water and electric hookup but no sewer. On the positive side, people were very friendly at the seasonal sites, plenty of partying on the weekend. Weekdays quieted down. The waterfront was beautiful.

Super nice people, mostly long term sites, with 8 transient sites in a central and open area. Everyone was very welcoming and nice. Good boat ramp with slips. Highly recommend for boaters. The Potomac is great! Water and electric, no sewage, but there is a pump out truck. Bought a bushel of crabs right off of the boat from Mr. Joe. Many people have golf carts, but not necessary, the campground is completely walkable. Highly recommend for boaters, maybe not for others.

I have been there for 3 years. Great location the staff is friendly and the surrounding water do not have low tide issues for boaters, Once in a while the tides can get to high and cover the parking lot.

They charge $15 to dump your tanks you think they would have water to flush your tanks and fill

From a boaters point of view this Marina is close to the main channel. Has a lot of transient slips. A pump-out that works. Good price on fuel. As a very nice swimming pool but it's hard to get to from the docks. Bathrooms are marginal at best. And a fair store with some stuff in it.

My parents have a spot here for their camper. I love going out to visit then. They absolutely love spending their time here. Tons of stuff to do. Even bingo certain nights. (My mom won twice last time and was so excited) Everthing is super dog friendly. It's very clean and everyone there seems to really enjoy it as well as forming friendships. Im pretty sure my parents will be keeping their spot their for a long time.

I wnjoyed my 2 night stay at Goose Bay. I really enjoyed the feel of the campground, although it is more of a marina/boat storage lot/RV Community than a campground. The prices are reasonable, and the facilities acceptable, but again it is other thongs before it is a campground. I definitely recommend staying here though. Just because its not a 4 or 5 star CAMPGROUND doesnt mean its not a good place to stay for a few days while you explore local attractions.

It was a beautiful place! They had low water pressure and there are only 8 transient RV sites, so be sure to reserve. Dump stations only, but advertised tat way. We loved it there.

Excellent marina facilities, slips with fresh water and electricity. Campground primarily for seasonal RV campers. Clean bathrooms, swimming pool, and picnic pavilion. Fishing from shore for Perch, Blue Catfish, Yellow Catfish, and other brackish water fish. Fueling and dumping station. Propane filling station too. Two launching ramps and sling lift. Church services on Sundays during the summer under the pavilion. This is our second season here.

My parent's keep their camper here all year and invited us to come camp here for the July 4th holiday weekend. Reservations were made at least a month or two prior to check in. The original reservation was Thursday to Sunday, however, my husband wanted to pull in Wednesday before it got busy. I called the campground a week before and asked if our campsite was available to pull in Wednesday instead of Thursday - I was told yes. We arrive at the campground on Wednesday and checked in. Check in was extremely lackadaisical - wasn't told where I was going, what site I was in, what time check out was, etc. I literally paid and walked out - good thing I already knew what site I was supposed to be in and where it was. We roll over to our supposed site and there is a camper already there. I went back to the office to inform them that our campsite is occupied and Crystal (the office manager) tells me that she moved us to the campsite directly behind the original site (apparently they have new people who didn't take down reservations correctly). Seriously? I wasn't called about this nor told about this at check in and maybe try training people before throwing them to the wolves to handle reservations without checking behind them. Wow. We then had someone pull into the transient site next to ours and basically parked into our picnic table area and not even on their own gravel pad. I'm assuming they wanted more room because they had a buddy site with the people next to them. Not the campground's fault but basically added fuel to the fire at this point. Their transient sites are despicable. They are small, cramped and need to be updated. Multiple breakers tripped throughout the weekend because the campground obviously couldn't handle the amount of electricity needed for how many transient sites were being used. The pool is extremely small, old and needs to be updated. Also, God forbid you bring more than one child to the pool as well - all of the older women who have a permanent camper here act like its their own personal pool and might cut you up in pieces if your kids want to play, splash, and jump in. Again, not the campground's fault but just adding to my already fueling fire. You can tell that they do not put money into this place - very run down (which is interesting considering how much money they get from permanent campers here). They had a big party on Saturday night for the 4th of July - a live band at the pavillion/pool area which is RIGHT next to the transient sites - literal walking distance. The band started at 7pm and played until midnight and then had DJ music until 1am. They kept the pool open all night long with people skinny dipping in it until 4am. I understand that it was a holiday weekend and people wanted to party but I had two small children trying to sleep in a camper and 3 other children sleeping outside in tents (mind you, we were directly next to where the music was playing). If they had capped the loud music and partying to 10pm or 11pm - fine. There were huge spaces in fields where they could have set up the band/DJ - not right next to campers. This is not a family friendly place - it is basically a party campground. We will never stay here again.
