Read so many negative comments, but when i walked it , it was nice and organized. I’m used to DC walgreens that have everything locked up, so i was surprised they didn’t have anything locked up 😭. Everything was still kept in their spaces and great savings when downloading the Walgreens app. Customer service was great, we were greeted at the cashier, very welcoming and friendly.

So slow and never have meds in stock,l for my Mom, waited an hour in the drive for them not to have anything ready, none in stock and good around on prior authorization. Be nice if they alerted their customers that PA was needed in the first place.

Utterly ridiculous!!! I waited 1hour and 43 mins on the phone for pharmacy only to get hung up on. Tried to call back and I had to start over. I called the store and was told they were different enties and they could not assist. I don't know what's going on, but this was the first time I've gotten a prescription filled here and it will be the last!!!

Why are pẹople like to keep me on phoneThis rude and disrespectful for telling me to hold and cut me off while waiting ọn line. I waited for 17minutes. just for asking a question. You are not picking more than a call in this pharmacy. What about pẹoplẹ in the ER. You are disrespectful to the core . I call back you asking how may you help me, aftet waited for another 15 ṣinutes. All you have to do is to do your job prompt.Zero star for wslgreen

Zero stars. This used to be the best pharmacy. The pharmacist is an idiot. Wait times are absurd. App says they’re working on a rx at 8am, 12 hours later “we’ll start it now”. Drive thru line is always an hour wait. And they don’t seem to care to make changes to fix the issues.

I had surgery today, we stopped by the pharmacy and was told my medicine wasn’t available and they have to open the vault which will take 5 mins but to come back in 1 hour to get both medicine that was needed. My wife goes 4 hrs later and they are telling her my meds won’t be ready after I received a call stating my medicine was ready. This Walgreens pharmacy is a joke. So now she is waiting again to get my medicine that I need.

Surprisingly, no line. Young man was very polite and courteous at prescription drive through. Waited less than a minute and within 2 mins I was on my way. Prescriptions were ready earlier than indicated on the app I used to refill. Today was a great day at Walgreens.

Scheduled a test for covid. Never again. Although I had a scheduled appointment, it still took them 30 min to get my testing kit together. Meanwhile, there are a line of cars behind me piling up to pick up their prescriptions. Most people got out the line and I guess went in. Once I received my kit, it took less than a min for me to swab myself. The Walgreens website said I would get my results within 48 hours. Well here it is, 8 days later still no results. When I called on the 4th day I was told that the 48 hours was more of a estimate and not a guarantee that I would get my results within that time frame. Well on day 8 I call and they give me the number to labcorp to “try”to get my results. The customer service at the majority of the Walgreens that I have visited has been deplorable. They need to do better.

THE worst customer service ever at the pharmacy! Four techs, many customers and not one person spoke. Then, once they acknowledge, EVERY customer is told it's a 15 minute wait. Management needs to do better! I'm picking up a rx for my fiance, but this will be my s LAST time here!

Walgreen employee Belinda is hands down the sweetest and most professional person I've dealt with in any business! Very helpful and she seems to never have a bad day and if she does, she makes sure she doesn't take it out on the customer. I appreciate you Belinda! I called the pharmacy to ask a question regarding my medication I picked up yesterday and experienced rude customer service. I had to call back because I was hung up on, and when I was finally able to get in contact with the technician she sounded annoyed and im not even sure if she asked the pharmacists.

The WORST pharmacy. Would give zero stars If the system would allow it. Don’t go here to get a vaccine of any kind unless you want to sit for hours and be ignored by the pharmacy staff. My appointment was at 2:30. Three or four people were called back to get vaccinated just as I arrived. There were three of us in line with appointments. We waited and waited and waited while I watched the two pharmacists do everything under the sun and the moon except acknowledge us. After I had been waiting for an hour, I asked what the hold up was and how much longer was the wait. The clerk said the pharmacists were currently giving vaccines (which was not true cause all three of us were still waiting) and he told me that appointments really don’t mean anything other than we will get to you when we do ( I am paraphrasing) because we are so short staffed. At the one hour and a half mark, I watched the pharmacist tidy of up the counter, and put away prescriptions before she called my name. When I entered the room, there was no hello, apologies for the delay or anything. Walgreens need to hire more staff, or don’t offer vaccines, but DO NOT offer me an appointment that means nothing and then ignore me for hours and then not even acknowledge why the delay. Terrible customer service and disgruntled pharmacists. Skip this Walgreens for your vaccines. I hear that CVS offers better service. Will definitely try them instead.

This has got to be the worst Walgreens I've ever used. Nothing is ever done in a timely manner and they do not know how to use their own system. Every time we need to pick up a prescription, they say it's not ready despite setting it as ready in their system--including sending the automated phone calls out. They frequently cannot find our account. It can take an hour or more of waiting in the store or drive thru for them to get a prescription for us that's they're claiming is ready.Avoid them at all costs.

I wish I could leave a double negative zero. This is by far the worst pharmacy ever. I wouldn't use this pharmacy again if it was life or death. They are so slow. They prioritize the drive thru over the customers in the store. They told me my prescription would be ready at 5pm but when I came to pick it up the next day at 1:30 pm they told me it won't be ready until 2pm, after I waited in line for 30 mins behind 5 cars. I then returned at 2pm and waited in line an hour just to be given the wrong prescription and have to wait longer for the right one to be filled. I have never seen such an incompetent pharmacy in my life. And this was not just a busy or bad day for them because I have been here over 5 times and they are always like this. I will never come back. Don't waste your time and energy on coming to this one. Please if you value your time like I do, GO TO ANOTHER PHARMACY!

This has to be the worst Walgreens in the entire world! I would rate them at a zero if I could!We have had nothing but trouble with this location. They “Never” have the medication that you may require. The staff can be extremely rude to customers. Many times medication is stored in baskets on the floor. Our PCM has had nothing but trouble with them as well. Our PCM has now started to order our prescriptions from a Walgreens in Baltimore and have them delivered overnight to our house.My most recent experience was the final straw! Our son had a medical procedure done in the morning. His doctor sent his prescriptions to this location. We received a message that 2 prescriptions were ready and 1 was still processing. We drove over to the pharmacy to have the staff member tell us that the pain medicine was on back order. He then told us that they switched delivery systems and that it was extremely unreliable. He then told us “your doctor should have verified that we had all the medication that you required before the procedure was done!” After an hour and a half of searching, our doctor found a Walgreens that had our sons medicine in the next county.

Lauren @ photo center was awesome and got my print finished in under 30 mins and faster than expected. She even went as far as telling me her general hours she works so if I wanted to make sure my prints got taken care of ASAP when to put them in so they could be printed on her shift. Customer service like this isn’t experienced regularly and I REALLY appreciate it Lauren❣️ And this isn’t the FIRST good experience at this location. Apparently I don’t need to switch the company that prints my prints.. I need to switch locations !!

Have called pharmacy multiple times to be hung up on or just hear "click" at the end of a conversation without a word. Have had to call back and sit on hold for an hour due to repeat hang ups until I start asking for employees names. Due dates for scheduled Rx by cvs themselves not followed when told they'd be ready. Just not very good customer service or communication. I feel they need more staff to accommodate the number of clients and are burnt out. I hate sounding this harsh but it's exhausting. 😔

Read all the REVIEWS about this location ********The WORST Walgreens pharmacy to visit. The line is always extremely LONG. There was a red vehicle in line waiting for prescription today apparently to be filed. What a inconvenience. It's not drive thru its wait drive thru now because of the POOR SERVICE they provide. They don't answer the phone professional...I was put on hold today around 5pm. They close at 6pm and that person never came back to the phone line but I was transfered to a ringing line. What is going on there..I will not go back there Customer service is the WORST. I should read the reviews before going. I rather drive far for excellent service instead of convenience. I spoke to store manager name ANDREW he thought it was funny laughing. So disrespectful and rude. .

First positive experience here in a long time! The pharmacy was well staffed and employees were moving with a sense of urgency. Not ready to give overall 5 stars but today's visit definitely was a five-star experience. I'm hopeful that things have permanently changed for the better.

Corporate need to replace the manager. She’s rude, distant, act as if she’s paying the customers and has no respect for no one. I’m going to continue to. I plain every day until she’s removed! (*Note: these negative experiences are before the current pandemic, but still apply. The only improvement since the pandemic is the line speed*)Even before the pandemic, if I could avoid this location I would, and still do. I (unwillingly) transferred over from the Rite Aid on Crain Hwy that closed, where it was absolutely great there. No matter who was working, how long the lines were, or whatever, I NEVER had to wait long. Most times it was 10-15 minutes. And if it was a slow day, I'd be out of there in 5 minutes. EVERYONE was pleasant, cared that you got your medication, and didn't want you sitting there for too long.The sad thing is (besides them closing down) the Rite Aid pharmacist that came to this Walgreens to train/help out, was only there for about 2-3 months before transferring somewhere better (lol). And in that time he was there, he was able to impose some of the good habits he and his old Rite Aid staff were accustomed to. But the Walgreens staff's bad habits were pretty hard to break. And since he's left, this Walgreens location has abandoned everything learned in that period of time.Now:1. Staff could not care less2. Their attitudes are uncalled for and don't try to help you reach a resolve3. Unnecessarily long lines4. Unnecessarily long wait times5. You can never reach someone on the phone6. My prescription is never ready on time and I usually have to wait til near the end of business hours even if I dropped it off first thing in the morning7. They tell you they have your medication in stock when you drop it off and when you come back at the time they said it would be ready, they don't have it anymore. Because they gave it to someone else that got there after you because your prescription was set aside and not put in the queue.***Make sure you make them check that your medication is in stock when you're still at the window and then verify two more times before you leave 😂. Then call in an hour and ask for the pharmacist to make sure everything is fine because they'll wait until you get there 5 hours later to tell you something's wrong. And if you cannot get your medication for whatever reason, then you have to wait 3 more days until they get their shipment in.Now, in the spirit of being fair, there is one pharmacist and one other person (both of whom I believe just joined in the recent months) who are helpful and kind of act like they care. I guess I'm just never there when they are anymore.I'm all for second chances so I really, REALLY hope they start making some useful changes for the better. I think they need to just train and retrain and take complaints seriously for once. It's not that difficult. In the meantime, I will be happy to continue to fill my prescriptions somewhere else.* Edit *To give some insight, I have an appointment each month around the same time, and go to refill nerve pain medication that I need so I can go to work everyday. So getting my prescription filled on time is a necessity.

Save yourself the time and frustration and go to LITERALLY ANY OTHER PHARMACY. I haven't had a single good experience here. I've used them for one specific prescription for the past year because they're the only local pharmacy that seems to carry it, but I'm at the point where I will drive to the next town if that's what it takes. There is ALWAYS a line (I'm talking a 20 minute wait inside the store), their drive-thru is rarely in working order, and trying to get ahold of someone on the phone is practically impossible. I've been on a twenty minute hold only to be hung up on TWICE today alone. If I could give zero stars, I would. Go. Somewhere. Else.

Walgreens is the worst pharmacies and stores I have ever had to deal with. From North Carolina to Maryland. Not one cares about customer service. They brush you off to another person each time. They don’t ever want to use your insurance even if it’s on file. Every time I take a script there I Am always offered full price and again I let them know and I guess it’s too much effort to do your job. Even to call to check up on the progress on a prescription they don’t want to answer the phone and when waiting in line over an hour your told that’s it’s another hour till they close and sorry we are closing you will have to come back in the morning. I will not be returning to any Walgreens in the future. I miss rite-aid and probably will drive 30 minutes out my way to go back to the closet one.

The pharmacy closes at 9pm, I arrive at the pharmacy at 8:45 after just having been released from the hospital post surgery to get my pain medicine script filled. The pharmacist on duty told me she would NOT fill the prescription tonight because they were only open for 15 more minutes. So I say well y'all close at 9 NOT 8:45 so it seems to me that you have 15 more minutes to do your job!! They did say the Clinton location was open until midnight and to try them. We asked if they could call and confirm they had it in stock since the Smallwood Village location did not and we didn't want to drive 25 minutes only to get there and they too not have it in stock.. She told me no, but they would give me the number so I could call. It's a narcotic and only physicians or pharmacists can obtain that information. 🤬I had pulled ALL my families prescriptions and business from Walgreens 2 years ago because they messed up a prescription that was desperately needed to be taken a strict number of days after the previous dose. THE ONLY reason I went there is because 1. My CVS was closed 2. The Walgreens Smallwood Village didn't have the medicine in stock but did tell us they called the one on Shasho Pl and they had it.I will NEVER not even when desperate spend another cent at any Walgreens EVER! I encourage you to do the same!!

please go to the one by high st is much more better and welcoming. the manager here is rude, the pharmacy is too. there’s over 50 reviews and everyone is basically rating this a one or 2 star so it makes perfect perfect sense. idk how they’re still running LOL. i definitely stopped coming because of the manager. i asked where an item was and her mood just rubbed off on me that i know she didn’t want to be there or to help me but that woman had a choice and it was her choice to be a manager at a walgreens?

It was an incredibly easy process to have my prescription filled here. I requested a specific brand and the pharmacist went out of his way to special order the product and have it to me before I even needed it. From the very first time I spoke with the pharmacy, I felt as if they were very attentive to my needs and respected my time. When the prescription was ready, they called me twice to remind me to pick it up and I really appreciated that as well. I would definitely recommend this group if you need a new pharmacy, or are just tired of the sub-par service of other pharmacies nearby. 10 out of 10!! They have my business!

Every single time "we're still working on it" I give them 24 hours before I even check to see if it's ready. I don't even pick up my script on the same day. That's right, I wait a full 24 hours, sometimes 30 hours or more, and they don't have it ready. I like the pharmacist she is very pretty and well-mannered. But telling me to "come back in a few minutes" then when I come back tell me to "come back in an hour" then when i come back telling me to "come back in another hour" is out of line considering I give them a full day to get that stuff done. All you have to do is put the meds in the bag dude.
