I LOVE SHOPPERS! Specifically, the Hot Bar and the folks who work back there (Seafood Manager Jahmal & Quinton took great care of me earlier this week and I appreciate their awesome customer service).The food is delicious (Ms. Brenda makes the BEST food), always hot, and if they run out, they'll give you time to shop then find you in the store when your food is ready!And the best part: your meal is rarely over 7$, which is RARE in this economy! If you haven't tried the Hot Bar at Shoppers; you are truly missing out.

I needed to stop by the bank on my way home and Shoppers was the closest grocery, so I stopped to pick up some aluminum foil and grabbed an "apple fritter". I decided to use a self- check that accepted cash to get rid of some coins...My mistake. I put in a quarter first and the machine wouldn't take it. I called the cashier over because I thought I was mistaken, but she came over and resolved the issue. I then put a penny, and then I put in what I thought was another penny but after I saw my total I thought well maybe I put in a dime. I put in a dollar and the self checkout still did not have the correct amount owed or the amount deposited. I put in a five thinking maybe it was just lagging, but it still said that I owed and incorrect amount. My total was $7.28 and I had already put in $6.27 (or according to the register $.37), but the register was telling me I still owed $1.91, so I put another dollar in...still said I owed $1.91. You manager was called, she looked at the main screen and said that they had to go by what was on their screen. I explained how it could not begk put in a quarter and two other coins one of them being a penny. There was no way I had put in 37 cents. Tried to explain to them how I knew that the register was not counting money correctly. The managers resolve the problem by taking $2 from their register and putting it into mine. As I was leaving I told them that they needed to shut down that register because it was probably taking people's money, to which I was told that they had not had any problems with that register before. That's probably because no one ever caught that it was charging money extra! We sit there mindlessly and feed it what it says we owe. I cringe at the thought of how much money this store has probably made from machines and exhausted shoppers who are too tired to check. And to add insult to injury, when I got home my apple fritter had absolutely no apple in it! Fried dough! Shoppers sucks me in every time. I thought it would be a better store this time, but still just high prices in the neighborhood of marginalized people!

Before they closed down this was the best Shoppers in town. They had everything from rare seasonings to a nice selection of breads. Know its nothing special and why the employees seems so mad?? I don't expect to people to be smiling all day but why are you mugging?

Today is March 6, 2024. I purchased a gallon of whole milk YESTERDAY from this grocery store. My children open it today and it is spoiled. Brand new milk dated for today March 6th which means it should still be good…..was spoiled. Pissed is an understatement.

Dashed in for a few items I had run low on, and of course ended up purchasing some extras 😆. Store was clean, bright and fully stocked -- the produce fresh, and staff friendly. Hadn't shopped here in awhile, and enjoyed my shopping experience

So glad that it’s back open! This store is near my parents and I love that they again have access to Shoppers prices. Nice staff. Store is clean and well stocked.

Their prices are ridiculously over priced, store was empty with shoppers. Sorry, but with those prices on food, they will be closing soon. Too many other places to shop to feed your family at a fraction of the price. Don't waste your time coming here, you will only walk out like I did.

Upon entrance I was rudely stared at but was never greeted just stared at because the color of my skin is different then this theirs I was followed by the African American woman with the braids that always has a nasty demeanor I was the only customer at 3pm the donuts are not the same pretty gross it felt like zombie apocalypse there were no workers in store just a rude lady at customer service very unfriendly with hair braids on top her head they rudely stood there and watched me get scratch off s then I walked towards them they all turned their head so they didn’t have to acknowledge me I will never spend another dime not the bakery food the cake was the worst cake how do you guys mess cake up I threw it away the two older African American ladies are very rude the young boy at checkout had more customer service skill then those old er grown ladies I felt so uncomfortable I left o my buying a few things I was prepared to spend over three hundred dollars buy only spent 23$ because you employee followed me made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome what a shame I use to shop there

Used to always shop here until they closed. So glad they have reopened. Very clean and friendly employees. This will be my main spot for groceries.When I was in here today, they had 10 dollar bags of groceries that you can buy and they'll donate them to a local food bank etc. Not sure if this is a limited time thing, but I think it's a great idea and hopefully they keep doing it.

Wish i could give zero stars. I just left the store. It is 9 am, no doughnuts in the bakery. The store had a nasty smell. There was a pile of wet towels left on the floor soaking up a leak in the meat section. Most of the isles had many empty shelves,products very out of date. I picked up a soda that had the date of "MAY0321"! This store has been going downhill for a long time. This was the last time i will ever step into this store again.

It might have been because it was Sunday evening but the stock of fresh produce and the bakery was pretty empty. The meat department was well stocked however, but the prices were not all that great actually. Overall it's a decent store and they do carry some things others don't.
