Very nice Safeway in the area with great staff.Lines move quickly at this location. Produce here is better than the Safeway in my neighborhood. They have a bit of a better selection when it comes to frozen products.Nice and clean. Went to this location many times and customer service was acceptable. I was overcharged for eggs the other day and I went to see the manager, she took care of the situation without any problem.

Safeway has a big presence in Washington state and California. Here I am in Southern Maryland with a very southern culture & Safeway was able to get me Smith Field Ham at a reasonable price. Thanks for helping with my holiday shopping

Biggest shrinkflation supporter in my town. They do not care about the community. Their practices are a blight to any community. Today my partner and I decided to never shop at a Safeway again, we will not support those that purposely exploit our neighbors.

Came in again, it was around 10pm, no open registers again. There was a line. Only 2 self checkouts seemed open.Bizarre because once again I spotted at least 4 employees, but no open registers.What is going on in these stores?Is this the new normal?If it is, I'll just shop somewhere else. I'm not being paid to run a register... don't pass that burden on to me. That's not my job.I'll shop somewhere with a register open. Deuces.--------3 weeks agono less than 3 employees hanging around or sitting around up front, but no open registers. All of them having non-work conversations with friends or each other or on their phones.Voluntary obsolescence is one thing, but this is just pure laziness. You could fire all but one of them, and OPEN A REGISTER and be way more profitable.You're losing money with these lazy employees and no open registers.

I must say this Safeway is the best! I had a wonderful experience at this location because of "VICKY" in the bakey department! Vicky always has a great attitude and serves with a smile, but on this day she really impressed me. We were looking at the donuts, trying to make a selection and here comes Vicky! She said "wait a minute let me change over to these "fresh" donuts". Now she could have just waited for us to pick/purchase old donuts, making a sale, but because of her work ethic and her go the extra mile she stopped us and removed the stale and stocked the fresh! Vicky is what makes us drive a few extra miles to this Safeway! Excellence is a choice and Vicky chose EXCELLENCE!

This store has lowered their standards. Chris the Butcher is useless how is he employed a such a good store. He didn't know what a rib roast was, hesaid it was no such thing.I ended up going to Nick's to get my my beef cut by good butchers.

Always check the dates. I bought two yogurts on 9/02/2023 and the expiration date of both says August 09, 2023. It seems like this location needs some quality control, someone could get really sick out there.

Great store hadn't shopped there for ages happy to have one here in Maryland great prices brought me some pork steaks which I couldn't find since I moved here. Long lines but they went very fast. My overall experience was fantastic 😊

Nice, clean, good selection, decent quality. If you are a member and shop the sales it is priced competitively. If not, well they are not the cheapest place to go. But they are convenient and you always can count in decent product.

Still a neat, clean store. Only wish selection of cheese was better with more variety, particularly with single serve, individually wrapped sticks.I was actually very disappointed about that lack of variety. Oh well.

The prices are downright unconscionable if you aren't a "member" and they make the process of signing up needlessly complicated. The store has a variety of deals that can only be accessed through the mobile app, which you can't download without signing up for annoying text messages and reminders. As a casual shopper I can't say I enjoyed the experience very much at all.

Biggest reason I avoid this neighborhood Safeway is checkout. NEVER more tha two lanes open so self check que is packed. Ill stay with Food Lion 925 which is clean, efficient, alwayswith gobs of lanes open - Well managed store

Night time is the worst . They only have self check out but only 2 opened , Apple Pay don’t work then they say it’s our cards when we clearly going to store to shop . I will not be returning to this location . Customer service is 2/10

Lately I had some pretty bad experience dealing with the workers in the seafood department. With the exception of one man they are very short and abrupt when asked a question. They lie and say that hat they don’t have certain things. They present as being lazy and not wanting to be bothered. They also refuse to serve you starting at 7. I was told that they should serve you until 8. D sling with them is intimidating and frustrating.

This store is barely a 3 star. The restroom ALWAYS SMELL & LOOK LIKE A 3RD WORLD GAS STATION. Use the RESTROOM AT HOME BEFORE going to THIS location. It's been like this for over a year.

One of my weekly spots to shop. I always go there to get my flowers 💐. Tammy is most helpful and is always there to help me with my Lillies. I also love the fresh fruit. I get watermelon 🍉 😋 there weekly.

Always out of items that are advertised as in store. Recently I placed a pickup order online charged my credit card confirmed ready for pickup via email when I drove out of my way to get it was told in store they didn't have it. Drove 25 miles round trip for nothing. Will never do that again with Safeway. All the other pick up in store businesses always are accurate but not Safeway

6/2 at around 6:15-6:30, my 17 year old god daughter was purchasing 3 items that equaled $5.45. She was at the self serve line, so she added the coins first and then inserted a $20. The machine malfunctioned and the $20 was stuck. My god daughter notified the lady supervising the self serve registers and she notified the manager. The manager came over and told my daughter the register doesn’t lie and she needs to pay for her items. So basically she thought my daughter was trying to steal. So she called me and I came in the store to talk to the manager. After about 20 minutes, she took the machine apart and realized the $20 was stuck in the machine. She apologized and returned the money And tried to give us the items but we said no thanks and walked out. My daughter was embarrassed and I was embarrassed as well. If we was a different race I feel like it wouldn’t have been a huge deal. The money would have been returned freely and quickly. I will not shop at this Safeway again!

This Safeway is located in Waldorf, Maryland's Marketplace Center off of 301 Crain Hwy. The store is exceptionally clean, well organized, surprisingly was FULLY stocked this week. Most other stores looked totally wiped out due to inclement weather.I was able to find everything on my shopping list.Customer service is always great on each of my visits.An enjoyable shopping experience.

My visit to Safeway today was great! Customer service was awesome. My cashier Cassandra was very helpful and told me and other customers behind me...sorry for the wait! While she had to leave the register to check an item for a previous customer. She had an overall concern for all her customers⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent variety and range of choices in products. Three or four times better then that offered by Giant or Shoppers (both of whom are pushing generic low end brands in place of mainline brands). Store was clean, well-lit, and well stocked. Bakery had a good range of fresh selections, with their breads actually being soft and fresh, and not the hard stale fireplace material the others often have. Only complaint is that their price range is and always has been higher than average..

Only 1 of 4 self checkout station was working. Old white man tried to use one out of service stations and had 2 cashier's immediately directed him to another register. There was a white woman behind me as I waited to use self checkout. As soon as I went to the other register, the cashier enabled the self checkout and allowed the white woman to use it.

I shopped for balloons for my brother's 65th birthday. Unfortunately, they didn't have any 65th balloons AND just as I approached the desk, one of the ladies announced that they had run out of helium. However, the store rep made me a bouquet of balloons and it worked perfectly. My brother really liked it.

I have gone on this store continuously ( to bakery) do the artisan baguette! What a waste of time. My family loves this produce, but it seems as though the bakers are too lazy to make! I have in the past complained about this to the manager. The issue seemed to be corrected for a short time. After inquiring, a baker advised me that the department was short of staff!

Had to buy limes & a Mango for this super yummy Kale salad recipe I'm preparing tomorrow with homemade Thai Peanut Butter dressing (will share pics). Also, purchased Oak Nut bread, Starbucks Cafe Verona coffee and 🤔oh yeah, Drano for my bathroom sink - water has been draining a tad-bit slow. Cashier was super nice and friendly, didn't get her name, but appreciate the warm smile and good vibes 🤗
