It has been five years since my last renovation with Porter and Porter and I was in need of a living room update and knew I was going to have Porter and Porter do the job. Just like last time the contractors were all very polite and experienced. The electricians and carpenters showed up on time on their day and was able to get their part of the reno done in the same day, I had recessed lighting and a feature wall installed. I had the hardwood floors re-sanded, stained and sealed; that job took two days. The transformation is exceptional. I had no doubt that it would be anything less. Thats what they do each and every time, they bring and do their best and it shows! See for yourself, I have included before and after photos. Thank you Porter and Porter!!I contacted Porter and Porter Floor Covering to have my existing hardwood floors refinished. After meeting with Mr. Porter I ended up signing a contract to have both my full bathrooms renovated instead. I didn't even know they did bathrooms. ( I will eventually get my floors done with them. ) From start to finish the journey of living in a construction zone was easy. The contractors are very polite, professional, and experienced. Each day they cleaned up before leaving, when I would come home from work you wouldn't know they were there except for the progress they made every day in the bathrooms. Mr. Porter was always there for any questions I might of had. He would immediately respond to me each and every time, he would also drop by at the house daily checking on progress. This was my first indoor renovation and wasn't sure what to expect but ciaos and commotion and neither were the case. Thank you very much Porter and Porter for a job well done!!!

I highly recommend Port and Porter. They had to add in, fix and refinish my hardwood floors. They turned out great. They also installed tile in several locations for me and all turned out better than expected. The company is highly professional and results are better than promised.

I could not be have asked for a better home improvement experience! Porter and Porter Flooring and Home Improvement provided us with an incredibly professional, detailed and high quaility experience! They installed luxury vinyl flooring in the first floor of our home and stairs. The quality of the work is amazing! They also replaced our kitchen counter tops and installed backsplash. Trust these reviews. Great Service. We had over 8 companies visit us to show samples and quotes. Porter was not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. The deciding factors for us was our salesman Kevin, professionalism, and the fact that the installation crew works for Porter and Porter. I watched them work the entire time. The install crew were extremely conscientious and professional. The arrived on time and cleaned up any mess.

Definitely a quality company who provides great service. My wood floors turned out way better that I expected. Completely changed the atmosphere in my house and made it more homely. Paul was very transparent and helpful with understanding the process and how the measurements are taken along with how to properly prepare the house and collect equipment needed. Greatly appreciated his availability for questions and providing clarity. Only suggestion I would make for future is for the contractor actually completing the work. Pre-measure materials such as the shoe molding needed prior to installation so as to allow the customer the option of taking extra back for refund if possible. Other than that the process was seamless in completion.

Porter and Porter Floor Covering are the best. My new wood floors are stunning and I receive compliment after compliment. I worked directly with the owner, Paul Porter, and believe him to be fair and honest in regards to pricing as well as design ideas. He was extremely reliable, as I had to reschedule the install several times, and at each request Paul was more than accommodating. On the day of install, as requested, Paul was present. He confirmed my order, reviewed the product selected and walked me through the entire install process. This installation took a day and a half and Paul made himself accessible throughout the process. This was our first experience with Porter and Porter. After much searching and asking for a good tile company - we located Porter and Porter of all places, on the internet. First let me thank all of the reviews which are spot on, honest and worth your time to read. The owner Paul is a very professional and courteous "old school" business man. His word is honest, his staff is professional, and his installers are outstanding. Even this Corona 19 virus did not derail our project. Paul was so kind to be flexible to change and always on time!! August 2020. I hired Porter & Porter to refinish my floors and install carpet. James Porter met with me to review my needs and discuss my expectations. My house was built in 1991. It has been used for several years as a rental property so the floors needed some "TLC" to say the least. I also have wood trim along the edge of the floor; they matched it exactly! They sanded my floors, refinished them with a beautiful polyurethane finish, adding new shoemold. I was amazed at the results and could not be any more happy ! The floors look brand new. I decided to carpet three rooms in the house and again, I was offered a wonderful selection of plush carpeting for those areas. You will not go wrong with Porter & Porter. I hired Porter and Porter to refinish existing wood flooring and lay down new flooring in my kitchen. I wanted a cohesive flow throughout the entire first floor. The house was built in 1998 but the flooring came from the 70s. From the moment I met the owner, Paul Porter, I knew I wanted to do business with him. He was genuine, trustworthy, completely transparent and always available for questions. It took about 3 days for completion and I was given everything I asked for! My refinished floors look brand new and the kitchen floor, which was completely redone, has the cohesive flow that I requested. I couldn’t ask for anything more and the rates were extremely competitive. They cleaned up 99 percent of the scraps and dust left behind from the sanding and the workers were professional. This is my first project that Porter & Porter did.  The owner Paul was able to help me select the right flooring for our basement.  I told him my main concern was high traffic and the various types of activity that take place.  Paul narrowed it to the type of floor that we should get.  The company had an excellent selection of flooring to select from.  The price was good and his team did an outstanding job with updating my family room floor.  I will do business with this company again.

After a disastrous experience with my homeowner's insurance and another restoration company, Porter & Porter was a breath of fresh air. I'm so glad that I read the reviews and decided to go with this very PROFESSIONAL AND AFFORDABLE company. Don't even get me started on their excellent customer service. Kevin was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about flooring. It is very hard trusting a company that you found online without any personal references. He made me comfortable with my choice.I had 2 levels of damage to my home after a flood. The insurance company only wanted to pay to patch the portion of my WOOD FLOORING that was damaged rather than pay to replace the entire floor. I was super worried about the patch job being visible. Well it is NOT! Kevin assured me that I would be happy and I was! They did an amazing job on my floors. They patched it with matching wood, sanded the entire level, and refinished it so everything blended beautifully. They were FAST, friendly, and even repaired the drywall that the flood damaged on both levels (who even knew they did drywall).After they were done, one of the OWNERS came to my house to make sure everything was looking good and to make sure we were happy!
