My dog got groomed here she claimed his ears was matted cut my baby ears so bad he looks horrible he would not be returning. They yell at the dogs. My dog was so terrified he stopped responding to me smh. WARNING Do not get groomed at this pet smart !!!

Store looks dirty and smells like feces. I didnt see one clean up station for customers to clean up after dogs. The fish station look unsanitary too. Poor fish!! Employees sitting down not helping anyone or speaking to customers when we enter. Had to ask for help for 3 people to ignore me. My beta fish probably would have died because of the unsanitary conditions in the store. So I will go to PetSmart. And I can only imagine how many animals die in their care due to unsanitary conditionsif the building. Should call Animal authority on Petco!! Its disgusting!!

My family visited the store over the weekend looking for a kitten. The store associate was very accommodating and assisted use through the process. We went in looking for one kitten and ended up getting two. We are very happy with the adoption process.

The staff and manages at PetSmart were and are always coustey, attentive, knowledgeable and willing to assist me with my needs at any cost. Moreover, they treated my pet as though he was their own. In my opinion they are there the best. I give them a 5 star rating.

I was in the fish department asking the man working in that department questions about the fish, and he had zero knowledge about fish. All the aquarium plants are dead. Very sad

I'm taking my furbaby Lester to this PetSmart store located in Waldorf, Maryland off of 301 Crain Hwy to attend puppy training classes.The store is super clean and well organized with a friendly sales team and knowledgeable, courteous store Manager.Lester is in Week 3 of his training with Pat - a real pro - and he's showing remarkable progress. I highly recommend the doggie training provided through PetSmart, and the store for all your furbaby's needs.🐶

I really like this pet smart grooming. I think they did a very good job with grooming my dog. this was the first one that I've been too since NJ where I didn't have to pay a special handling because my dog acted up. He was very calm (as you can see in the video) and didn't put up a fuss at all. I will definitely be returning. I'd like to give credit to Tyauna B. She was my dogs groomer and she did a great job with him and I'm happy to saw he had a great Pawgress report from her.

I'm still loving PetSmart in Waldorf, "...where they do anything" for ... Lester! This is a full service pet store which includes grooming and a pet wellness service, dog training modules, and a pet hospital on premises also.

I took my cato to have her nails trimmed. We waited 15 minutes for service and the service took 10-15 minutes. It was a quick and friendly visit. The technicians are very careful and caring... and the dog seemed not to mind the presence of a cat in the spa. It was a positive experience and very reasonably priced. We will return. I should add that my cat is 19 years old and can be hissy with strangers at times but she was perfectly fine.

I normally do not visit these stores, Petco/PetSmart, but I’m so happy that I visited this store this morning July 8, 2023. The staff was absolutely amazing from the time I walked in I was greeted with a smile and she honestly meant it. The store was so clean. There was no piles of waste in corners, and minor urine if any.The staff blew me away with their knowledge of birds, dogs, fish, and lizards which I have all of. Ms. Shelly, amazing and so kind with me. Mr. Kevin W. seriously escorted me to every area I ask about and discussed the benefits of each product. He was unbelievable patient and gentle with his delivery of knowledge and recommendations. He literally spent about 30+ mins with me and I did not feel like he was annoyed or frustrated with all of my questions. I am fairly new to Waldolf, but this is my new favorite place for my pet needs.This was the best customer service that I’ve gotten since before the pandemic.

I love that I can find the majority of the things I need for my furbabies, I just wish I knew when their truck comes in so I can stock up on certain items. Not complaining, today was the first time I went in a certain car wet food was low stock. Again, not complaining, completely understand.Update - end of 2023, I've been able to find what I need for my furbabies.

I am giving petsmart instead of a five star review because I purchased one of my keets(parakeets) here for my daughter who loves birds. However, there was an extreme lack of knowledge when it came down to knowing about the birds and asking my questions. The overall staff and friendliness and customer service is usually good and I don’t have any other complaints .

I love that they greet you. I bothered staff in the wrong area and you know what...they helped me! No brush off, no eye rolling, just pleasant assistance. Then when a staff member didn't know about something I had asked about, get this...they called over another employee to ask them. Do you know how refreshing an experience that was? I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the service I was provided. I have just moved to the area and am so happy to find my new pet supply home😁

Loved it! Be aware … the grooming salon charges extra for weekend appointments and if your dog is matted it’s an extra $20-25 on top of the service you choose. Weekends more expensive? Seems out of line. Groomers we nice and the pups came out good.

I’m giving a 1 star for the pet hospital because I’m unable to give 1/2. My own experience with this particular store is unsatisfactory. I recently took my pet in for a comprehensive exam and was not pleased with the service. The staff is unprofessional, and lack in customer service skills. If I wasn’t alert enough I was going to be charged an additional $600 for exams that were not necessary but optional for my pet at the time, which tells me that they are more concerned about the lucrative side than your pet’s health. They kept telling me you need this and you need that for your pet so they can increase my total. They never answer the phone and when you walk in is evident that the staff apears to be there against their will. My personal opinion is that who-ever the store manager is, needs to step up and actually manage the store!!

Groomers treaded my shepard stanka with lots of love. For his 1st grooming aside from me, they said he was well behaved. I was worried they'd need the muzzle but they worked with him and used the brush I provided and his calming words. Will be back once a quarter. His fur is sooo fluffy and his nails are trimmed nice and short. I checked to see if his quik was cut on any and didn't see anything indicating he got clipped. Thank you petsmart and grooming staff!

Where to begin, Jennifer and Jasmine over at grooming were awesome! We brought our rescue Betty and Jennifer was super sweet, patient, kind and professional. I will definitely continue bringing Betty to her💜 . We absolutely LOVE Jennifer for our sweet girl!!! Also, the store is super clean and neat with a huge variety of products for your pet needs and store staff are pleasant and greet you warmly:). Yes, I will continue driving the extra 40-45 minutes..Totally worth it.
