Pleasant experience with cashier. She was very helpful. She took time to research and provide the sale price of online vs in-store. It wasn't busy...upon opening Saturday morning.

I use to love going to this Petco for my dog's grooming. They did a really good job and the price was fair. However this past Sunday I brought in my little shihpoo for grooming. There was a stylist I have never seen before there and was assigned to do the grooming for my doggy. Normally when I take my dog there she is matted and I normally have to pay extra. It's due to the type of fur she has it mattes easily which is why I take her to the groomers rather do it myself. Well the stylist turned my dog away stating she is too matted and proceeded to try and use her clippers on her matted wet fur (it was raining) to see if they would go through. Of course they didn't and she stated this. I then told her that trying to run clippers through wet matted fur is going to be unsuccessful and that once the fur is dried it make work and also using scissors should help the process. She states that the fur will not dry because this type of fur and matting doesn't dry and she can't use scissors because the matting is coming out her skin. I take my dog home and proceed to dry her fur and cut off the mattes using scissors. I then rescheduled her grooming since i got the mattes out. Petco proceeded to call me the day before her grooming and stated that they could not see my dog unless she sees a vet without even see her in person to see that the mattes were gone because it is against their policy to groom matted dogs. So I told them that it was fine. I canceled my vital care membership and took my dog to petsmart who didn't have any issue with grooming my dog. So now we are new petsmart customers and after being a petco customer for over 20 years I don't think I'll be returning.

This PETCO is 10 of 10. Manager to staff! Well stocked and knowledgeable of products. Greeted when entered store and thanked after I left.Please send them to TRAIN Clinton MD Store. Never stocked, smells bad, rude and knowledgeable staff

Threw away live meal worms and live calci worms. When called to ask if this is normal policy, they stated no and went in the usual corporate spiel about returned goods or bad goods but never addressed the fact that the worms were very much alive and left to die in both the heat and suffocation underneath the rest of the waste that likely doesn't belong there. The meal worms had started eating each other to try to survive. Maybe that was the confusion in bad. If you don't feed them they will still eat each other.

Love this store. The employees seem truly concerned about you and your fur babies. They go out if their way to see that you are happy with your purchase and also get your rewards. Great experience every time. Maybe they can teach a customer service class to other retail establishments.

Everyone was very helpful !! The animals all looked healthy and were well taken care of! Unfortunately one of the zoomed bulbs I purchased blew immediately when I turned it on. I believe that to be a manufacture issue.

Waldorf Petco is my fur baby and I favorite place to go !! The staff is very friendly and resourceful for all of your pets need.. They also have a vet that comes there too.. A mobile unit !! All of my fur babies have been cared for from head to paws there.. They have adorable kittens there to be adopted.. Come give those kittens and juvenile kittens a forever home, please..

Horrible grooming experience. Paid $80 for my dog to come back with matts still in his hair. I called the store, and asked for a partial refund. (Some services MAY have been rendered, not completely convinced anything was actually done) I was told if they refund me I will be banned from using Petco in the future. Black mail, real classy Petco. Never again. Highly dissatisfied.

Took my 1 year old pit bull there for a grooming appointment. Will not be back. My dog smelled just as he did when I dropped him off. Asked for a good smelling shampoo that would add shine to my dog’s coat. She recommended a shampoo to me that made my dogs fur flake up and fall out. I also do not believe they clipped/filed his nails. I usually take him to the Petco in LaPlata, but they were not grooming at the time. Much friendlier staff and I could clearly see/smell that they did exactly what I asked them to do.I also went there in the past to purchase dog food. The associate radioed that I needed assistance and I was told to go to the dog food section and someone would assist me. No one came. Went to the front to ask for assistance and the manager lied and said no one was in the dog food section and brought a bag of food to the front that had a hole in it.

Not sure who is RESPONSIBLE but this store looks like an unattended Dollar General. There is stuff in boxes and carts everywhere. Nothing is hung up, it's as if no one cares...I've been in there on 2 occasions, thinking maybe it was just a one time thing, but UNFORTUNATELY it's the same way EVERYTIME! This is not Petco's standard...it's EMBARRASSING and NASTY! I hope someone address this. I won't know because I won't be going back to this store. I HIGHLY recommend bypassing this one and going to Laplata!!

The place is clean the manager and workers are friendly but I do have a problem with when I order stuff from them fish precisely. Now my 2nd time at Waldorf location. I have not received my order or they don't know what happened to the order. I don't have problem at my upper Marlborough location just have problems at Waldorf. Now I can stay false advertisement. The type of fish I requested was Siamese alge eater. What I got was false Chinese allergy eaters more aggressive, larger fish when they get older. They sell them when they real small, so it's hard to tell.So they won't give you your money back or even switch. They want you to donate, then they can make more money off of it, but you have to pay for what you really want it.if you are new to the hubby like I'm don't trust them.

The staff are friendly. I go there most of the time to buy my dog treats. The calendar that I bought has a lot of dog food discount. There's an Education Training for dogs, my dog Jazzy,was able to passed lLevel 1 and 2,and her Trainor Devon was really very -professional in training dog.

I Wanted to purchase a Conure from them and they would not assist me with a purchase. It must be nice not to need a 900.00 plus sale . Well it just walked out your door. The guy said we are short staffed and have no one to assist me with the bird. I would have waited ! The rudeness was not expected. They lost me as a customer.
