This is a fairly new Family Dollar I believe it's less than three years open. It's usually very clean and stocked. It's my preferred location because they have great inventory. You can also catch some good deals because many people haven't discovered it yet - its not over- shopped like some of the other locations. It's like a hidden gem.

FD Drivers: Friendly staff, relatively easy to get into, plenty of space in the back to get set up the proper way and get back out when finished.

The store is very nice, clean and organized. However, the management sucks. I applied for a cashier position here and got hired as an ASM (Assistant Store Manager) and as I appreciated the store manager giving me a chance in the position, she showed NO patience with me, even after she was told from the jump that I had no real management experience. Instead of me completing my training on the computer for the ASM position, my FIRST day I was told to get on the register, by DAY TWO, I was being treated as if I was dumb because I would ask questions about how to do xy&z. When she was approached about how disrespectful she was being towards me, she denies that she wasn’t being disrespectful, although she was. She, Ms. Paulette, was showing no signs of patience with me, very annoyed by me asking questions and asking for guidance. I only lasted a week working there.Advice for those in a management position, always show patience, respect and compassion towards your employees. As a leader, you should build those under you up to be better than you, never talk down or look down on those that are in a lower position than you. Character means EVERYTHING.

The store is ALWAYS so tidy and shelves perfectly straightened, I've never seen a Family Dollar so neat and clean they're usually cluttered and dirty but not this location and I hope it stays that way considering it is a new store. The associates are pleasant and not rude which is synonymous with Family Dollar.

The chain, while convenient to get to, is never fully stocked of what should be on the shelves (i.e. medicine). The employees are also hit or miss on the customer service aspect. Either they're pleasant or act as if they do not want to be at work. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I stopped by the family Dollar on Leonartown Road this afternoon or evening rather about 7 o’clock to pick up multiple items my intent was to spend about $100 between household goods and beauty products and soap etc. I was shopping when nature called and I go to the back where the bathrooms are located and the doors to the restrooms are locked I walk around and I find an employee a young Asian guy stocking shelves and I asked for the key to the bathroom he replied that they were broken I said both of them he said yes I said well how is it possible the two of you are working today and you don’t have a working bathrooms. He didn’t reply. I feel discriminated against… I am choosing Never to spend my hard earned money in this store again. What about you????

If I could give ZERO stars….I purchased 4 spray bottles marked $1.00 each, they rang up $1.25 each and the person I’m guessing was the manager, Paulette, said,” If that’s what the price is in the register, there ain’t nothing I can do about it”. I asked for my refund, she then told the cashier to refund the whole sale and re-ring them at $1.00 (remember there was nothing she could do about it). I stood there trying to wrap my head around why this woman approached the counter so volatile, when she spoke to the cashier and said,” You just can’t get some people to say thank you.” I then said,” I’m supposed to thank you for selling them at the price their marked??” Then I told the cashier to just give me my refund. The manager started to raise her voice, saying something about providing customer service. I asked her why she was yelling, she claimed she wasn’t.I left promising to never return. This Paulette person needs a lower position, not management. She has no people skills, no customer skills, should NOT be in canary’s of others. Awful. She will lose this store a lot of business, or she will speak poorly to the right one. She is a sour individual. Contacting corporate next.

2 restrooms marked all genders! I am 71 disabled senior, had an emergency to go right away. I was told to go to McDonalds. Brand new store, employees need both restroom. No compassion. I didn't even finish looking through your store. ( Family Dollar Waldorf MD) I will continue to shop Dollar Tree and Dollar General. Never step foot in Family Dollar again. They could have made an exception. I am a crafter and I spend hundreds of dollars in these stores.

This Is The Best Family Dollar In The Area! It's Brand New and So Nice Inside! The Store Is Clean and Very Neatly Stocked. I Found Everything I Was Looking For and More....The Ladies That Work There Are So Pleasant and Helpful!!
