Dee's MUTTS is located on Old Washington Rd. Northeast of Waldorf.The "Mutts" Team is highly competent, friendly, and accommodating with special grooming instructions.My doggie, Lester, seems cooperative going there - which helps with the transfer.Their prices are reasonable, which is an added bonus.Lester is a "designer mixed breed Cockapoo" (just another name for a " designer bred "mutt!" 🐶 ❤️However, when the service is complete, Lester looks like a first place show dog!Also, I've witnessed the beautiful grooms on their "full-breed" LARGE doggies too! 🐕 Beautiful.This place is definitely the dog grooming competition to beat! Easy parking access too.

Our dogs aren’t dogs they are our kids, family. Raised with love, rules, training, great nutrition, excellent vet care, crate trained and did I say, love. They are very well socialized great with all dogs, children and people. Sadly I cannot say the same for Dee’s Grooming. Do not take your loved large dog here. Any business that lies to get your business should not get supported. I think it’s fine for small dogs, unless your small dog, like my GSD’s have Allergies. They lied, after my speaking in detail with the “Co-Owner”, she said they used Medicated Shampoo containing Ketoconazole and Chlorhexadine when I asked they use my PRESCRIPTION shampoo. She had several professional (legal) options: She could have said we don’t have anything with those ingredients and I don’t allow outside products. She could have bathed the dogs and accepted my RX Shampoo. She had no right to lie to get my money obviously caring nothing about my dogs. Who, Shiloh, my 8 year old fuzzy, before he left had lost muzzle fur and was red around the muzzle. Upon getting him home I started him on Antibiotics. Tucker the male of the 3.5 yr twins is my most allergic. He has blown out in a full blown skin infection. I’m dying of chronic heart faliure, why I took them to this terrible place? But they are my responsibility am bathing poor Tuck, praying that a few baths alternating these RX shampoos can resolve because Tuck does not tolerate many antibiotics.I spend a lot caring for them RX Hypoallergenic food, treats. Washing their bedding weekly in baby detergents…Before I became ill I trained GSD’s.When I saw one of their employees nearly trip backwards in fear of my dogs…if you have a business catering to dogs. And you allow all dogs. How dare you hire employees who treat those dogs like they are monsters. She has every right to her fear. The owner has no right to hire her to be around client dogs because trust me, the dogs sense her dislike!On top of which, I call remembering, I forgot to tell them. “ Please potty Shiloh after his bath . Bathing stresses him out he needs to potty after.”. That’s when they tell me, we don’t let them out for liability. If he potties in the crate (which he will die before he does) we’ll clean it. Now I’m done, I turn around from driving to McLean. Walk in and tell them I await my dogs. I don’t care if they are dripping wet. I point out she lied about their shampoo to get my business, unprofessional at minimum . And at no time did anyone disclose they don’t take dogs out for potty breaks. Legally Policies must be disclosed by businesses to customers before they walk out your door. Most post them on their wall and tell customers to read. For example that you won’t take them out. I said little dogs are raised on a Wee Wee pads. Big dogs, especially smart family dogs will die before pottying in the house or their crate. Miss Co-Owner says “I know, I have big dogs”.At no time did she apologize , not once. At no time did she sound like she got it. In fact she was rude, snotty, blaming me even after she said she knew my dogs would suffer because she was a big dog owner. This woman did not care! I said then you have no excuse not to inform me, and you’re not getting paid. They should be putting money back into your business by putting in a dog run. They own more than enough property just too cheap. Hey they’re doing fine lying to people and not following the law posting any of their policies. Oh, the man that bathed my dogs who said he worked at a Vet in DC who should have known better than to use cruddy $5/gallon shampoo on my dogs said “oh I’m not going to get paid” so I had to pay him $100 bill my emergency money.I wasn’t going to write this very bad review, but when Tuck blew out in a full skin infection because of their cheap shampoo. And really, her attitude? She could care less about the souls left in her care, what they care about, show me the money. Well my souls are priceless creations of Christ!

It's been a while since my dog Kuma had a good bath and trim. The groomer (Victoria) asked for exactly what I wanted. I know he had some mats but I love my dogs long fur. When I went to go pick him up he looked amazing. She took care of any mats he had and kept my boys nice hair.All staff was friendly. Place was clean. The price was a little more than I expected. But I'm sure she worked hard (my dog can be a little crazy) and earned every penny. Will be coming back in the future.

They did a phenomenal job on my golden and husky. My golden and some dry skin and needed a trim. They did an amazing job with their medicated shampoo and his coat is like when he was a puppy again.My husky needed to be shed (like huskies always do) and they exceeded my expectations with the deshed. I will bring both my dogs back!

I drop my dog off to this place, and they barely washed him. He still filled with dark stains that I know, when I groom and myself, thay would come out they did not blow dry him their selves they left him in a cage for hours when I picked him up he was wet and frizzy, and they did not trim his nails all the way and skipped a few nails? Also for some reason they did a terrible job and charge me more than they told me they were going to charge. I’m very disappointed, and I will not be returning. My dog still needs to be groomed. He needs to be washed properly blow dried and brushed and needs a nail clipping and a haircut. Still, I walked out of here looking for another place to drop off my dog to have him groomed because they basically did nothing. ButProbably just traumatized, my dog, leaving him locked up in a cage for hours

The staff at Dees Mutts are not only skilled groomers but also incredibly friendly and attentive to my dog Hershey's needs. The facilities are clean and welcoming, and they always make sure Hershey leaves looking and feeling his best. It's clear that they genuinely care about the dogs they groom. Dees Mutts has become Hershey's happy place, and I highly recommend their services to all dog owners!

I’m not sure how I came across their FB page but I’m so glad that I did. They were able to give me an appointment for my Yorkie in less than two days during the busy week before Christmas. The customer service was excellent. The staff were all very kind and friendly. They did an excellent job with grooming my Chip. He smelled amazing and looked adorable. Definitely will be a retuning customer.

Dees Mutts take such good care of my sweet fur babies. Our mini Aussie appreciates the sanitary trim up and his neck ties!!! Daisy girl is an older pupper who has been cared for very gently and her dry senior skin came back conditioned and smooth. Both dogs always look and smell amazing for many days after their service. My mini aussie's hind quarter and belly trim always blend in really nice with the rest of his full coat. And the undercoat is blown out nicely as well, gets rid of his shedding issues. Fabulous job. We have joined the clientele list for about a year now and have never had an issue. I've even been squeezed in same day because my little guy rolled in poo and smelled awful! Reasonable pricing and wonderful customer service for the humans and the pups!!!

We brought our older Yorkie to Dees Mutts after a bad experience at another establishment. She understood my concerns and took care of our sweet dog better than I could have imagined. He would run and hide under a bed, as soon as he heard an electric razor and was matted in some areas. My sad attempts to groom him with scissors during bath time were not enough. I can’t thank Marg enough for taking care of him and easing him back into grooming.

This establishment extends top customer service to it furry clients and their humans.The groomers are highly skilled, professional, and time efficient. They do not overbook their schedule. Dee's prices were cheaper than PG County's pet store grooming department prices.

Mary has been grooming my dog, Rue, for about 2+ years after I tried several other groomers. Mary is always energetic and excited to see my dog. My dog loves Mary! I’m very picky about my dog and Mary goes above and beyond with every groom. There’s no one else that will make your pup look better! The salon is extremely clean and easy to access. I 10/10 recommend Dees Mutts Dog Grooming. I’ll be a customer forever!

They said she would done in 2 hours and to drop her off at 1. I picked her back up at 3. That’s awesome compared to how my old groomer was. Was skeptical at first because they had 5 stars based off only 13 reviews but they did her hair exactly as I asked in a timely manner. Definitely worth the hype.

I had the pleasure of working with Mary and Brandy for about a month but due to my own personal reasons I had to resign. Mary is an amazing groomer with a lot of experience. I’m so glad I was able to be in her presence and experience working with her even for that short period of time. Aside from her being a great groomer she also has a beautiful salon. It’s so clean and smells amazing every-time I walked in. Mary is so kind and she treats every pet she comes in contact with like her own! Brandy is also a great groomer and very knowledgeable about dog grooming. 10/10 would definitely recommend them both! Even though I’m a groomer myself I will always recommend Deese Mutts to anyone in the Waldorf area. I wish I could stay and work with these ladies but at the moment it’s just not a good fit for me. I wish Mary and Brandy nothing but the best and I’m confident that Deese Mutts will continue to grow and be successful. They are amazing! Everyone is amazing! Even the owner Phill and his wife are always so nice. I’m so glad I got a chance to encounter these people!

Dees Mutts Dog Grooming is by far the best bang for my mutts! See what I did there???Anyway, Mary groomed all 4 of my fur babies and did an awesome job. Quickly shaping up my dogs with high-quality cuts. My dogs are happy and not traumatized by their visit.I will be back. A great value, 5 stars, for sure.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I’ve always groomed my dog. But do to an injury I needed to take him somewhere. They are gentle and loving with the animals. And my dog seems comfortable with Brandy. I am gladly relinquishing my grooming days.

We were extremely satisfied with the service we received for our 1 year old cane corso. She had a bath and nails trimmed. She was calm when she arrived home and was wearing a bandanna. I appreciate the staff giving us an appointment within two hours.

My shepherd smelled so good and looked so clean after her bath. She is all white, so I didn't want to take her to the dog park or doggy daycare for a few days because I wanted her to stay clean. I will see how her experience was when we return, i.e excited, etc.. when I took her back for a repeated grooming experience to one of the major retail groomers, she would start shaking and cower in the corner.

I was referred to Dee when I needed special care for my elderly brothers Bailey and Brayden. She was able to give me and my dogs special care. She educated me on what was happening to my dog's skin, and makes arrangements for my blind/deaf dog. Try her out....you won't be disappointed!!! Thank you Dee, for caring for my babies!!!!

We took a Yorkie in for trim and explained that she's to have long hair and that her hair is pulled up in a rubber band on her head. When we picked her up,hair was laying down with a bandanna around her neck.But rest of bath and blow dry was ok.

Dees Mutts did a great job grooming my 2 year old german shephard. I was taking him to petco but it didn't seem like they cleaned him very well, and he still didn't smell much better.. Dees Mutts cleaned his face and his entire 108 pound body.. Dees Mutts is where i will be taking him to from now on. Thank you girls for taking care of my baby even through his separation anxiety wine lol..
