WORST PHARMACY EVER!!!! I have called over the past several days. All you do is wait on hold until the prompts actually hang up on you. It’s sickening to know they are treating people that need treatment this way!! So now (for the second time!!!) I have to drive up to the pharmacy to talk to someone. This is absolutely sickening! Do better

As I sit here waiting going on 20 minutes for someone to answer I get more frustrated. Can NEVER get someone to pick up the phone. Cant something be done about this?I try to go online to refill, but it says contact pharmacy. What a joke.

I used to enjoy coming to this location. They usually had what I needed, usually polite/respectful, usually professional.Today, however:Went to check out, there was nobody at the registers. I shop here fairly frequently.New kid waited till someone came up to the register, took the items out of their hands, rang them up in the self checkout lane and would gesture to have them finish.Never have I seen a more vivid display of someone trying to make their own job obsolete.The only way for this location to have any chance of recovering its rating instead of becoming another inner-city trash-heap, hire some professionals. Check the tapes!

Man I thought that this CVS would be a better experience than the CVS in Clinton but boy was I completely wrong. This CVS is TERRIBLE!!! Each time gets worse n worse especially as I sit and write this review while on hold going on almost 1.5 hrs. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. My doctor had to actually show me on her computer how many times she called in my daughters prescription to this location all for CVS to tell me she never called or they don't have it. Please help and tell me other pharmacy options for LaPlata area 🙏🏽I HATE this CVS 🤬🤬🤬

CVS has a corporate level issue with Customer Service. Three times I have given this particular store an opportunity to simply provide a respectable level of service. First time was when they "autofilled" a prescription that was toxic to me, but insisted the physician sent in the request. He did not.Second time was waiting 5 days for a prescription to be filled, finally transferring it to Walgreens who I knew had my medication in stock. All of a sudden, CVS was able to fill my prescription within 2 hours.After my prescriptions were transferred to Walgreens, CVS still processed a needed medication without my consent as it was transferred to Walgreens. I could not get it processed by Walgreens without calling CVS to correct this. Called and waited 30 min on hold to speak to an employee who does not understand the idea of "I dont know the answer. Let me find someone that may know", rather suggesting I call Walgreens and re-transfer a prescription that Walgreens already has on file. 20 minutes waiting for a manager tells me the manager is either overloaded with complaints or simply doesnt care.

Pharmacy wait time is usually terrible, unless nobody else is in line. Drive thru routinely takes anywhere from 15 minutes- 25 minutes for EACH CAR. Inside pharmacy line is often down the aisle in the afternoon. There are several CVS's in Waldorf, choose another if you use the pharmacy often or need your medicine quickly.

This pharmacy gets more horrible by the day. I held on for 30 min and no one answered. My prescription was suppose to be ready yesterday but they won't even answer the phone. I can't stand the way they treat their customers.

I went to pick up my daughter's ear drops this evening. I sat in the drive-thru for 7-8 minutes waiting behind 1 vehicle. The lady inside the pharmacy looked at me waiting in my car, and shut the blinds. CLOSED. I guess next time I visit my 24 hour CVS I will check their hours first. Closed at 6pm on a Saturday.While I am to blame for arriving so close to closing time. How do you make eye contact with a customer, and close up. You know I am there to pick up a medication. This one might be the difference between an ER visit and a decent night's sleep.

Seems like I always have issues with prescriptions. I waited weeks for my blood pressure prescription. Cvs kept telling me they were out of stock and should be in the next day or so. Weeks later I find out the medicine is not being manufactured anymore. This had been know in the industry for months. CVS should have been aware of this discontinued medication prior to even trying to refill it for me and making me wait weeks.

Went to fill prescriptions that i got at an emergency clinic, I haver respiratory infections so I really needed my antibiotics. I got there before 11 pm. After giving my prescriptions to the pharmacist, she tells me there is a 2 hour wait. I could not believe it. She told me, she had people coming in to pick up their prescriptions. I said I am waiting. She said it did not matter, I would have to wait. Went in search of the manager. The manager was not concerned in the least ??? The fact that the pharmacist was alone and had no help, might be the problem. I looked at my phone and it was 11:08. I went back got my prescriptions and left. I had to drive 10 miles out of my way. The CVS in Clinton,where I had no problems. The pharmacist there said the wait was 20-30 minutes. I picked up a few things, my prescription was ready. When I got outside I checked my phone it was 11::48. This was crazy, I drove to another store and received my meds and in my car in less than 40 minutes.

*****Interim Review and Rating as of late April of 2021 and during The COVID-19 COVID-19 Global Pandemic*****: I have never been to this CVS location before, but I called here very recently after making an online appointment. for my COVID-19/2nd Dose. I spoke very briefly with a Pharmacy staff member and a Manager in the general store area. Both of them were very kind to me. The problem I had was making an Online Appointment Anywhere from Any Provider in Maryland for my 2nd Dose Vaccination and to that end, I've sent in writing, some possible solutions/suggestions, to several major COVID-19 Vaccination providers, including CVS.com and My Congressman, that may assist in this COVID-19 historic global Vaccination efforts. Anyway, as far as this Review, I will update this Review asap after my 1st Visit here.

The rude male employee in the grey shirt refused to let me do my doordash order the way that I am supposed to and forced me to use self check out which I can be reported for. Don't force people to do something they don't want to do. I don't understand why was there such a problem with me waiting in line.

CVS is a good place for any prescription, or basic medical needs.But, for most other products they offer. Their prices are akin to what you might expect in a small, Mom and Pop, Country Store.CVS' grocery sections in particular, are often well above local competition.On the whole though. For their services and 24 hr. convenience. I would recommend a visit for; basic medical needs, browsing quirky As Seen On TV gadgets, and a late night snack if you have a couple of bucks to spare.

Wait times to pick up prescriptions, particularly in drive thru are horrendous. If you text me multiple times that my prescription is ready for pickup why does it take so long for you to respond, find, and hand me the prescription? I routinely see and hear staff arguing with each other...seems there are several issues going on with this location

This facility, specifically the Pharmacy, has to be the worst run Pharmacy I have ever been forces to use. Yes, my Insurance company says I have to use CVS, EVERYTIME, I go in, there is some excuse as to why the prescription is not ready or available when I was told it would be ready. Come in tomorrow, they say, Oh, they sent the wrong stuff! Come back on Monday (and this is Friday). I can only guess what is going to occur on Monday. If this were the only time, I would not be writing this terrible review, but it's EVERYTIME, for some lame reason or another, and the sad truth, they don't care one bit. There are always three to four customers in line, with similar issues. Corporate ought to take a good look at this operation. Avoid it like the plague. Heaven help you if you get the plague, and have to wait for the incompetent staff to serve you. May be a taste of their own medicine would be in order.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE!!!!!!!!If I could give negative stars I would. There is ALWAYS a problem EVERY MONTH, with my sons reoccurring prescription for ADHD. There is always a reason why its not ready, they don't have it in stock, I have to call the doctor again, I have to get a new script. I don't understand what happens here. Its been a year ongoing of frustration, and professionalism. I'll be taking my scripts to Walgreens.

Every time I go to this CVS I am ignored, I am not acknowledged until I either say something or have to get indignant with the pharmacist. Tonight I stood there for at least a good five minutes, she looked me dead in my face at least three times and never said anything. When I walked away from the counter one of the other employees told her you had someone. The pharmacist says well she should've said something. No I am the customer you are supposed to acknowledge me, it is called customer service which clearly she has no concept of. The employees there that are the cashiers and stockers have much more common sense and courtesy. I'm not sure if she is the head pharmacist or if she's just the night pharmacist but either way she has very very poor customer service and shouldn't be in the type of position in which you have to deal with people if that's the attitude she is going to have. I will not take another prescription to CVS as long as I have other options.

OTC and grocery department is okay and personnel are nice too but the actual pharmacy is terrible. Wait time is too much and everytime I go there to fill or pick up my scripts I always get disappointed. I called today and told the guy if he can run eligibility to get my insurance under cvs Caremark because I could find my card and he said they cannot do it at that location. Baloney! I know all cvs can, he's just lazy to do it. They even have a way to look up insurance from other cvs location. That is not a good customer service!

Every time I call the pharmacy, I am on hold for 10+ minutes before I get tired and hang up. I sat on the phone one weekend to see how long they would keep me on hold without answering the phone, 30 minutes! This location is the worst CVS pharmacy I have ever experienced.

Horrible place to call, each time I have to call a minimum wait time of 15 minutes, this time I am still waiting at 25 minutes! Horrible customer service when the actually do answer. The pharmacist answered and said there is no one to answer the phones then proceeded to put me on hold for another 25 minutes before helping me. Unacceptable. Corporate needs to do something!

I'll be brief: Went in on the 7th to make sure they would have my medication on the 9th. Was told they would. Went in on the 9th they didn't have it, told me they would have it on the 10th. Went in on the tenth and they said it might be in next week. My insurance company decided that I have to use CVS, maybe because they never have medication so the Insurance company doesn't have to pay. Drove to the LaPlata CVS and they didn't have it either. Wait till Monday they said. What should I tell my pain? It's going to have to wait until Monday? They have One Job, to be a pharmacy. . . they fail at that more than any other pharmacy in the country.

I will never ever go to this pharmacy I went last Friday morning to have Covid test done and come to find out my identification was entered wrong and now I am having issues getting my results. Minute Clinc is not helpful either Nobody seems to be able to fix the issue Making it seem like its my fault the information was entered wrong Now I have to have the test redone as if it's fun to do.
