It seems that many Restaurants in the Waldorf/LaPlata area have gone down hill in the past couple years. This one as well. The Eggs were not Cooked all the way, the Mashed Potatoes were very dry, the side of Cheese Bites? (really this is $6.00?). The menu said I would get Biscuits and Gravy with my order, I guess it was accurate (Biscuits on the Side and a little bit of Gravy on the Chicken) Im used to getting a full Plate of Delicious Food at Cracker Barrel. I guess times have changed. Had to ask the Server multiple times for Ketchup. The Atmosphere I understand is not so much their fault, the 5 Women next to us were so Loud and Boisterous, and not respectful of anyone. A couple of times one of them dropped her Hat on our Table, and Her Coat was hanging from her chair in such a manner that we had to step over it to get up from our Chairs. Lets not forget about the people milling about the Store, some of them were blocking off entire sections just standing around talking. Could not even get to the Restrooms because of a family gathering blocking the entrance. I hope this was just a one time bad experience.

This was my first time coming to a Cracker Barrel. When I first entered I thought I hit the wrong door as I was in a shop. They were busy but they still had tables for two immediately available. I got one of Grandma's breakfast combos. I went with Pancakes, ham, bacon, sausage and grits. Eggs over hard with Colby Jack. Absolutely delicious. The Pancakes were both fully and solid. The sausage was cooked harder than I normally take but this will be my new standard. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Perfect place for Christmas Eve Brunch.

The staff sucks, the service sucks! It seems like no one working that night wanted to work. I asked who our server was & server ended up not serving us. A sweet guy NAMED EDWIN, served us. He really did everything in his power to satisfy our desires. He also explained that he doesn’t serve he is was the person who makes orders for the people who order online. He made sure we were good and whoever Holly is nerves came and said anything to be honest I couldn’t tell you what she even looked like nobody could find her. Thank you Edwin for your SERVICE on 03-26-2024!

When ordering a take out dinner, expect to wait a while. I placed an order for the 4 sides meal. Took over 20 mins from time I said I parked to time it came out. For 3 sides of dumplings and 1 of fried apples. That's the second time this has happened there. The food is good, typical Cracker Barrel taste. The to go cups were not as full as the first time, they were only half full. I'm sure that just depends on who is making it. I can't ding them too hard on it, but something to remember. Pleasant staff 90% of the time I have ever interacted with them. It's about as clean as any other store, and just about as busy. Cracker Barrel is not 5 star gourmet restaurant, but it's good food cheap.Kid-friendliness: My kids love it, and they "steal" peg boards from other tables to compete against each other. However I DO make the return them when we leave.

It was my oldest sister’s birthday and she selected this restaurant and I was happy because this is my favorite spot!!! It was great and the family loved the food as always and the staff was amazing as always!!!! After three days I decided to write a review. I have ponder what to say. By far one of the worse experience. I had only been to cracker barrel for breakfast in the past. Once arriving we were seated right away. It took about 15 minutes before the waiter came to the table. I address the waiter appearance with him. His hair was covering his eyes and you could not see them. He said no one had said anything to him about it. My concern was that hair would be in our food.... we ordered dinner. My mother wanted water with lemon on the side. He brought water to the table with 🍋lemons in it. After waiting for another 25 minutes. I called the manager to find out where our food was. During that 40 minutes time frame we watch people get seated after us and get served. Thats reason why I called the manager. She apologized for the wait and checked on our food. I also addressed the waiters hair with her. She did seem concern or said she would address it. The food arrived about 5 minutes later. My mothers sweet potato was supposed to be loaded. When telling the manager she stated she could bring her some pecans to put on them. LOL. The meal was okay after receiving it. This whole experience was horrible and the restaurant was not full. The manager did opt to take half off our bill. This was not a great experience for my mother and me. I highly encourage everyone to think twice before spending your money here

A very empty Cracker Barrel.in a Sunday afternoon. My chicken was great, carrots too, but the hashbrown casserole was cold. Still tasty, but. Out server didn't want to move around the table that our party of 3 was placed (table is a 7-top), so everything, drinks and plates, were ferried to the correct guest by the others. Not the worst service or visit, but not the best either.

I order online the French toast with berries was message my food would be ready in 25 minutes. Arrived message that I pulled up in curbside. Waited for 20 minutes then called was informed that my French toast wasn't made because missing ingredients was told I need to order another meal. I requested a refund because no one called me to informed me about issue.

My family and I have been going to Cracker Barrel’s for decades up and down the i95. However, we’ve been coming to this particular restaurant for as long as they’ve been opened. I’m not sure what happened to the old cooks or if all Cracker Barrel’s have changed their style of cooking but I have added a picture of the sad version of my Momma’s French Toast breakfast that was ordered this past Saturday (7/29/23).If you know how small the warm syrup bottles are then you can be the judge on the size of these things. I felt ripped off looking down at how small these French toasts were. I even asked the waiter why they looked pathetic and his response was he just came back from vacation and a lot of weird things have been going on around here he couldn’t explain. We got a laugh and a giggle and extra napkins from him. To make matters worse, it tasted like fried smooshed butter bread then anything else.Don’t let me explain what my kids pancakes looked like and they ordered a Grandma’s Pancake meal not a kids meal. The pancakes were disappointing as well. Oh the food took FOREVER to come out and it wasn’t even busy! So many tables were available, we felt bad for the older ladies next to us as they waited even longer.Probably the last visit for us, at least for the foreseeable future.

I was a patron years ago and had bad service twice,so I wasn't coming back,but my wife had recent great experiences and told me to re try...so these recent weeks I did,and it was great ...so ...my only concern is the little short young lady whom be sitting people..she isn't people friendly...normally being in that postion to sit people..you are smiling, attentive...but not her..barely look at you..and speaking is non existence other than How Many....but any way I've had great tasting food from youll..so I will continue to come 😉

We visited this location Sunday 17 Mar 2024 around 11am and the first order was brought out to the wrong table, then we never received our full order and part of our meal got cold waiting on everyone else’s plate to get to the table. I also ordered my eggs scrambled well and was brought the wrong eggs three different times. Last time was by the store general manager who did nothing to compensate the multiple mistakes. I strongly suggest you eat ANYWHERE else but this location in Waldorf MD. I honestly wish I took pictures of the uncooked scrambled eggs that were brought to my table.

I have always eaten at these locations,when I am traveling to other area's. I find the food is very good , and on a Sunday, when I am up in the apple countryside, I get the pot roast beef, so tender and well cooked,with a side of apple's.Vegetarian options: A good selection.Parking: Very large area

I dined at Cracker Barrel in Waldorf Maryland, my wife and I were seated at a small table and requested a larger one. Our request was denied because one section of the restaurant was closed due to staffing. However, a larger table was available but needed cleaning, but we were denied the larger table. Our order arrived and did not fit our table. We needed to take items from plates to get rid of them so that our food could fit the table. Poor accommodations!!!

I really have to praise this place. Even during Thanksgiving we were seated with no waiting time, we were asked our orders and they came out rapidly. The food was delicious. In addition, the staff was very friendly. I loved the store at the entrance. If you are looking for a nice and pretty present, it is a great place to find one.

I ordered catering for my employee holiday party. I ordered 3 meals that would feed at least 30 ppl (per person serving as indicated). They only sent enough condiments and plates for 10 ppl. They did not send any napkins or silverware. The chicken breasts were not cut. The manager said she would give me a $10 credit toward the bill. I appreciate her trying to do something, but this was not very helpful when trying to feed hungry, hard working nurses.

Pretty much the worst Cracker Barrel experience I’ve had. Don’t get me wrong, I love Cracker Barrel and I go there fairly often. My wife and I waited an extra two hours to get food just to go to this one, but we shouldn’t have. The bathroom floors left your shoes sticky when you walked out. The Maple Bacon Chicken had nothing maple about it. It’s usually my favorite item on the menu, but it lacked severely here. The loaded sweet potato didn’t have nuts, like it’s supposed to, and it was only lukewarm. Finally, there was only one cashier (running two positions) even though the line to pay stretched most of the way across the store.

For as busy as this place was on this particular day, it was remarkably efficient. My food did take a long time to come out, but it was to be expected with the crowd that was there. I did taste good and was hot. Overall, I was pleased with my visit.Parking: Plenty of parking is available around the store.

Well I know it was New Year's and they were busy. But we waited for ever for our food. Server keep walking by us finally had to stop him about our food he said it was busy well duh. He said he was waiting for the biscuits really it's. Cracker Barrel pretty they make biscuits all day and food was COLD!!
