I love this store! They changed the store's layout, but I like it this way better. It looks very well orga ized, to my taste. The pictures and video were taken during fall. The landscape looks pretty even during the night.

Since COVID I mainly take advantage of the app. I shop online, receive a text when ready and pick up my items. This avoids the long checkout lines, lifting items 3 times(shopping cart, checkout 2xs if self checkout and into car oh and 4 into my house forgot that one)I sometimes go inside and pick up my cart but if you are patient the delivery representatives are so sweet and courteous... Again you have to be willing to be patient because sometimes you'll see folks get their items first that arrived after you and a couple of times I had to call and check the status of my carside deliveryRegardless of delays Iove the free option to shop from home checkout and pick up my items without going up and down the aisles at BJ's

I like to thank Miss Debbie for explaining to me and my wife about the membership card . She explained it to us in a polite , respectful , and a positive manner that made us feel comfortable that we have joined the club . She is located at the BJ ‘s Club in Waldorf Md she is the Best . We thank you respect from the McPherson family .

If I could post a zero I would. I received horrible service from cashier# 503299. Trans:8392. 03/01/24 09:54 I purchased 6 items one of whichwas zyrtec in a glass locked box. The cashier placed 5 items in the cart except for the zyrtec. Iquestioned had he scanned it because he did notplace it with the other items I had purchased. With a nasty tone he stated "yes I scanned it but I can't take it out of the box until you pay for it." Then continued to state to me what the company policy was. I was not aware of the company's policy. He further stated I had to make sure you could pay for it before I opened the box, in a very rude manner. After I paid for my Items. He opened the box, placed the zyrtec in the cart, handed me my receipt, and went to the next customer without even saying something to the effect of "have a nice day or thank you for shopping at bj's." I have shopped at bj's for over 30 years and never experienced someone with such poor customer service skills and a terrible attitude!!!

I love Bjs...the store. However, the gas attendants...not so much. *12/2/2023 (8:22am) went to pump gas...light on the pump was on. Accepted Bjs card, but light went out before I could insert Credit Card. I located attendant (older Asian woman) to inform her so she could put a sign on the pump since it was not working. She loudly popped off with "If the pump not working go to another pump!" Really? So rude. So uncalled for. Much customer service training needed...ASAP.

The Customer service employees this morning were so patient. They had two people working for the long line of customers. I got a membership for my family and the staff member shared all the information I needed about the benefits and using the app. She even waited for my app to upload and register my new account so I could use it immediately. Her name was unique Tashekia I believe, but she was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable.

My experience was great until I got to the cashier. I make sure all of my items are place bar code up and put light items on the belt. Deangelo I believe his name was decides to give me a mini speech about putting other items on the belt I said nothing. Then as he scanned my items on the belt I said all of the bar codes are up you can go down the line to make it easier and scan it quicker he didn’t hear me and asked me to repeat. He then said ma’am let me do my job with an attitude and scanned slower. My husband was definitely taken back and started talking to him and I asked him not to address it. The cashier’s response could have definitely been better.

Recently went shopping, the cashier pointed out meat and seafood in my cart that she believed smelled bad. (Thank you) After smelling the items and observing the items we noticed that the items were in fact bad with expired dates.I noticed after my purchase when I got home, that some of my packaged produce was also bad and expired.Membership should cover quantity as well as good quality and outstanding customer service. I can buy expired items off the shelf from other local stores without paying a membership.

I love being able to buy bulk, prices unfortunately are getting high everywhere. But when I go to this BJs the check out is so inconsistent for some people you take the receipt and sign off others you dig through the cart to count items like your hoping to catch an extra item like they steal. Please be consistent on how you check carts so people don't feel targeted.

I had a cashier at BJ's tell me what she was not going to do with regards to putting my goods in a recycled tote. What I will not tolerate is disrespect from anyone. I work too hard to earn a living. Am I the only one tht has an issue with commanders fan lady at the exit…I can be checking out and see no line soon as Im done the line be damn near back to the register and it happens every time she is there. Then she over or under counts my items-she is also not welcoming at all!

Hey you guys!I ❤️ BJ’s. But I felt compelled to share my experience with their scan as you go option that is offered on their app as a convenient alternative to waiting on the checkout line. Is it really? Check it out.Overall, I have mixed feelings about Bjs Wholesale Club in Waldorf, MD. On the one hand, I absolutely love the product selections and the savings and values that are available. The prices are great, and there is always a wide variety of products to choose from.However, my experience with the "scan as you go" feature was less than ideal. While it is a convenient way to shop and save time waiting in the checkout line, the process of having a staff member rescan and double check everything in your cart at the end was frustrating and time-consuming. 🤦🏻♂️ This added step completely negates any time saved during the shopping process and can be a major inconvenience for customers who are in a hurry or have other obligations.Furthermore, having a staff member double check everything in your cart can also create a bottleneck at the exit door, causing delays and frustration for other customers who are waiting to leave. This is a major flaw in the system and can be a major annoyance for customers who are trying to get in and out quickly.Overall, while I love the product selections and the savings that are available at Bjs Wholesale Club in Waldorf, MD, the issues with the "scan as you go" system are a major downside. It's a shame that such a great shopping experience is marred by this inconvenience. 👎🏻🙁

BJ's prices are often more expensive than retailers, and they won't stop mailing me trash spam. Also their deals are always in terms of dollars off an unkown price, so they can increase the price 10 dollars and advertise that a copoun will take 2 dollars off, which is stupid.

I don't like leaving bad reviews but this place needs a complete make over. It's obvious that management just doesn't care enough to train the employees properly. I have never had a good interaction there. From the dead rotten plants at the entry to the non helping staff at the deli. Management sucks!! You can tell they are understaffed in some departments but yet you see people in BJ's approns/vests walking around doing nothing. Even the front end people that help with membership have a bad non helping attitude.It's like everyone at that store is overworked and stressed and they have lost the ability to care. The only reason we go back ... prices. Tear it down and start over. You can't even buy tires there... there is only one person working at the tire shop. I can go on and on. Not to mention the rude lady at check out, the trash outside the store, the parking. It's exhausting to go there. 😮💨 Sad honestly. BJs Wholesale you have to do better or just get out of Waldorf and make room for a better store.

Latika or shalika or whatever her name is at customer service was very rude and sounds like she don't like working there, i wait on the phone for 15 minutes but no service was provided. Bj's is a good store but the customer service people are the one that makes you feel that you don't want to shop there anymore. Horrible customer service. Bj's please train your people to be nice to the customers.

I do not care what customers are saying about this place because I don’t live here anyway but being a trucker making delivery here, I’m concerned of the difficulties other truckers will face of coming here. Look, if you’re a solo driver with sleeper cab , don’t come here unless you have no choice because the only way to put a trailer in the whole #1,2,3,4 is to blindside it. Done🙅🏽♂️… not coming back here.

Impossible to get propane filled. One guy working the entire auto department. What a joke, you pay a membership fee for this. SAT for 25 minutes, didn't even get a look up. Costco, here I come.

As with another customer, I shared the same experience with the checkout line lady! She is extremely rude to some customers but polite & talkative to other's. She ignores the line as it grows longer & longer to carry on her conversations & she's already slow.Once when she was cashing out customers (me in particular) she had the nerve to tell me I didn’t place my items on the belt. Well, it was during covid and at the time BJ's cashiers (some, if not most) were asking customers not to place their items on the belt.... but when/if a cashiers had asked me too, I did.. it was her tone that annoyed me. Furthermore, I am mindful to ask if I should or not & I asked her (as the other customer was finishing up their transaction) but because she was so busy talking, she dismissed me & I am not in the habit of repeating myself to someone like her.

They're running a promo that you get 50 cent off per gal if you spend over $100 in the store. But there are no signs at the pump...they're all in the store. It would make more common sense to advertise this AT THE PUMP! I got gas before being made aware of the promo. They basically told me I was SOL. I'm canceling my membership...I like my Costco and BJs memberships better anyway!!

You can’t get ahold of anyone over the phone here. You try to get someone to verify stock and they transfer you to the department that you’ve been trying to reach for over 45 minutes with the same outcome. Good luck if you need tires, you’ll never get an answer.

Curbside is horrible. Inside pick-up is horrible. It actually is faster if you go inside, shop and check-out yourself; customer service is literally THAT bad at this store. You will wait just as long, if not longer, doing inside/curbside pickup.Customer service itself is also horrendous. The employees clearly hate their jobs and make it known to the customer. The older gentlemen (Tom?) who is always at the customer service desk is so unbelievably rude. Expect at least a 20 minute wait, on a good day, at the customer service desk.FYI: If you’re picking up an online order, you stand in the only line they have (customer service) and wait...and wait...and wait as there is no separate check-in for picking up online orders. I could shop and check-out faster (and have, when forgotten something and left spouse in line for online order) than stand in line to pick up my online order. Most likely you will also wait in this line for curbside pickup because no one will be coming to your vehicle, regardless of you checking in, and eventually you will wander into the store wondering why they are taking so long.No one cares so complaining is useless.If you like the products, find the prices decent, have the patience to deal with the chaos of their gas station, have the ability and time to shop yourself (because inside pick-up and curbside take longer than shopping yourself for some very odd reason) and hopefully never need employee assistance, you’re golden. Otherwise, just go to Costco.I mean, it is Waldorf. We don’t have much available in the area, outside of nail salons, traffic, banks, traffic, gas stations, traffic, auto stores, traffic, run down used car places, traffic, warehouse churches, traffic, the same fast food wannabe-restaurants and more traffic, so of course horrible service is acceptable here.

Mary T. at the door checking your receipt when you leave is EXTREMELY rude and has the nastiest attitude. She doesn’t even greet you when you walk up and makes you feel very uncomfortable. She went through my entire cart and checked everything as if I was stealing. THEN the cashier forgot to check something in our basket but instead of figuring it out for us, she made us step to the side to do it because she was “creating a line” but the person after us had at least 50 things in their cart and she didn’t check not one item. I’m disgusted with her actions and how she treated me and my family today. Horrible experience!! We did speak to the manager, Erica, who was very pleasant and understanding but her employee made the experience absolutely horrible and uncomfortable.

First of all I want to say that I have no issue with the inside of the store in any way, my issue is with the grounds of the store.There is trash everywhere as far as the eye can see, downed trees, and all types of debris. What’s next, rats coming out of the trash to valet park your car??? Why can’t BJ’s have someone pick up the litter on a regular basis, either contractors or their own employees??? Customers shouldn’t have to patronize a business that doesn’t have enough respect for its customers to provide a clean environment for them, inside and out. I won’t be renewing my membership until I see a change.

I want to personally say that BJ's has done me wrong in the dirtiest way. I was an employee for the Waldorf Department for almost 7 years and I was terminated by store manager Paul due to a staff member harassing me at the workplace. I literally was not comfortable being around this individual due to this matter. I reported it to Paul but due to the store manager knowing this co-worker outside of the workplace he did nothing about it. The employee was Matthew Ezell. This individual harassed me every day due to accusing me of telling other employees about him and his work ethic. I have never talked about anyone at my workplace for all my years I have been there. Matt and Paul were friends outside of BJ's and no action was taken upon him harassing me. I want to personally say do not ever come to this store to shop or spend money here. I am very disappointed with the way things were handled here. I could have went to corporate on both of them but I did not. I went there a week ago and I found out that Mr. Ezell is working day and night at BJ's because of his special privilege there as well. I want to personally say that he is one of the most manipulative people I have ever met there. Do not waste your time coming to this place.
