$170 for a goldendoodle hair cut & its not even a good cut.He was $170 because it's consideredI won't be back here, so chaotic inside and it's not a good cut. I am really disappointed.When I got in the cry I cried because it's so ugly, uneven and patchy.During pick up I had to ask the groomer to cut the hair on his testicals because it wasn’t cut. I also pointed out places on his face where it was uneven and the groomer brushed it, so to all blended and I couldn’t tell where it was uneven now to show him again.These pictures were taken in the car after picking him up.

I have been with Josh from the beginning way before the opening of his own grooming salon. I am extremely impressed and proud of him. He took excellent care of our French Bulldog then and now he takes excellent care of our schnauzer now. I would definitely recommend his business.

Been going here for 2 years. All of a sudden this white lady is being prejudice towards my pitbull. Refused to cut my dogs nails. Nasty attitude and just disrespectful. Never had a problem until I’ve had to deal with that lady.

Service received in July 2023. So much wrong. I'll start with the fact that I dropped my dog off at noon and he wasn't ready until 7:30 pm. I was told that he would be ready in three hours, but when I called to check timing, I was told it would be closer to 6. It's a small shop but it was full of dogs, many in crates and several leashed awaiting their appointments. In fairness, they might have been boarding but that means that they were in crates for the entire time. The charge was an exorbitant $200+ and I paid to punish myself for my lack of caution. The name said it all... it was "ruff".

I have a rescue who is hesitant with new people and usually doesn’t let anyone touch her paws. The Petsmart people couldn’t groom her but the folks at Ruff Cuts have been seeing her for about a year with 0 problems. She has lots of emotional and physical support when they cut her nails and seemed to be calm and happy getting them trimmed. She always smells fresh and is happy after her appointment. They even give her a cute little scarf when she’s done. I highly recommend: they have great availability, are professional, reasonably priced and do a great job every time. My dog is a ~55LB Akita mix 1.5 years old.

This place always does a great job taking care of my dog. She is a nervous dog with a bit of anxiety but the groomers always treat her gently and care for her while she's getting washed, brushed, and pampered. I normally get her a wash with the anti shedding treatment because she tends to shed a lot being part german shepherd. I also have them clip her nails when I bring her in for an appointment. After I get her back she smells amazing and hardly sheds! The groomers are extremely professional and I love how you can book a session online. The website is easy to use and you can specify all the additional things you need taken care of from there. You can also call them to book an appointment if you prefer talking with someone. I don't think they do walk-ins but I could be wrong about that as I always book an appointment before going. I'm definitely going to keep going back when my dog needs to be groomed. They have good prices that are comparable to anyone else around. Thanks for always taking great care of our pets! I can't say enough good things about this place!

AVOID BIANCA, I WAS A FIRST-TIME CUSTOMER WHO WILL NOT BE RETURNING.I booked the appointment online via Instagram, I requested a haircut, shampoo, nail filing, brushed teeth for my 10-month-old dog (first haircut). I was asked to come in earlier that my scheduled appointment, when I arrived, I was greeted with a very quick hello and what will need to be done. I replied with I booked my request online with what I wanted, and Bianca said same as last time and I said my dog has never been here before and repeated what I request.When I returned, my dog did not look happy and look scared. I was not happy with the cut My dog received a Brazilian and one of her nails was bleeding and I was not made aware with of it upon arrival and I was told she did really well, then I was quoted a lower price than what I booked the appointment for, and I now see why.I understand that things can happen, but I was truly bother by the lack of honesty regarding my dog's injury.

Unfortunately, I didnt read the reviews on yelp before taking my love muffin to this location. When I dropped him off, they seemed kind of chaotic, like they weren't sure when my appointment was, and they acted like they knew me when it was my first and last time going there. The appointment took way longer than it was expected to take the 2-3 hour wait time was a 5 hour wait. When I finally got my dog from them, he smelled really bad, it was almost like they used old nasty towels to dry him off or they had him sitting in an old soiled bed for too long. My dog had a yeast infection in his ears and paws after taking him to this location. When I cleaned out his ears, I had to use 5 wipes, which was very disappointing since they charged me close to $200 to do such a poor job on grooming him. It took me three baths to get the horrible smell this shop had on him to get it out. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS GROOMER.Update: I will message the owner who responded below. But to clarify, my dog wasn't matted at all, so the wait time is not justified, nor is their ability to clean out a dog ear thoroughly.

We took our spoiled 4yr old Oreo to get a bath/brush/nails package with teeth cleaning. She was very calm to go with the groomer. Everyone was professional and polite and the price was a bonus for the quality of work done. It took longer than expected but when I called, they assured me she'd be ready soon and they'd call me when done. We're pleased and she'll be back again.

Today I needed a puppy cut for my new dog. I called that had an appointment and I was surprised! The staff were friendly and very professional! I have used other big box groomers before with other pets but I have found a gem in my back yard! Thanks for being available and my pup is gorgeous and smells amazing! Sorry I didn’t take any pics . My love muffin BOSS, an Old English Bulldog stopped by today to get the works. He needed a bath, sheading treatment, nails buffed, and teeth cleaning. He's a 77lb, 15 month old big baby. I was concerned that he may have a fit, but he loved the care and so did I. His coat was shining, paws were very well manicured and he smelled fresh....with is masculine doggy fragrance. He was so please , that he gave out puppy kisses to the his groomer. I'm glad Ruff Cuts is open. We will be back next month. Thank you for the excellent service Josh and staff.

I've been going to Josh for my standard schnauzer's grooming for a while and I am always satisfied with the quality and professionalism of this business. My dog always gets the best treatment and she always dances with her new bandana and fine smelling coat. Pepper can be a bit much as well but Josh always handles her with care and love. He understands each dog and knows them and thats pretty cool to me. As long as Im around I will always make sure Pepper gets to Josh for the TLC she deserves. Keep up the GREAT work!!

I went here based on word of mouth. Big no no I wish I would have read the reviews before taking my pup here. Great hair cut but POOR customer service! Handling folks pets is like handling someone’s child. Timing, pricing and communication (customer service) could really use some improvement.

The cut Kayla did on my toy poodle was nowhere near being worth $100. There were long patches everywhere. And no I don't have time to bring her back to complain and get redone. If I'm paying that much I expect that I'm getting a professional cut at that appointment. I have time to write this on my way to work (before the business owner comments a snappy response like I should have corrected the problem).

I relocated to Maryland in June 2020. For months, I’ve been looking for a groomer for my dog. I’ve been to PetSmart and Petco Grooming and have been very dissatisfied with the way they groomed my dog. Finally! I have found my place. Based on a recommendation from a friend, I went online and booked an appointment with Glory-Ann. She has over 30 years of experience, so I trusted her. She did not disappoint me, she groomed my fur baby perfectly! Everyone I encountered (including the owner) was personable and professional. I’m happy to support this black owned business. Ruff Cuts is top-notch in my book!
