This is the worst Foodlion establishment I’ve ever been to. The female workers by the scan your own items at check out are rude and ghetto. Some conversations aren't meant to have in front of customers. The shelves are never stockedDefinitely will not return to this location

The best turnovers in town, they're often on sale, and they're wrapped in cardboard rather than plastic, which means a lot to us. Good produce section too. And an amazing assortment of gluten free items

The fruits, vegetables and ice cream are not what you want from here. Fruits may be mislabeled. I am a fan of Fuji Apples 4131. They are supposed to be crisp and sweet. However from Food Lion on 2 occasions they were the opposite.We purchased tomatoes that seemed firm until we went to use them the next day and found the insides to be rotten.I bought ice cream got home opened it and it had melted and been refrozen.On each occasion I was refunded my money and the service is very good.

The store was very clean but my ice cream had melted by the time I got home. The line was extremely LONG with only 2 registers open. I thought that Safeway was bad omg. Bad idea for a supposedly quick stop.

Nicely laid out store. Wasn't impressed with the customer service. I saw alot of kids talking amongst themselves, they could of cared less about even saying hi. I know what Food Lion except for customer service and well they were there soley to collect a paycheck that is all!

Prices are bit higher than other food place (like safeway) but this location is near all the neighborhoods so it makes sense. They Carry my favorite flavor of Tolenti (chocolate black raspberry)

I love my local Food Lion! The store is very clean and the store managers and employees are very helpful if you need anything. I'm waiting for them to stock my specialized Keto Ice Cream in full and then I will truly love them for life! :-)

The bakery is very unprofessional. They will take your cake order change the image on you AND mess the cake up!!! All they have to do is print an image and put it on the cake! They will not center it, it will be off and they will leave it just like that!!! They had all day to fix the damn cake. No apology or offer to discount the cake was given. Sooo unprofessional I’m really disgusted with the service! Don’t use they’re bakery unless your up for an unpleasant surprise!!!!

OMGOODNESS!! Love this Food Lion location!! They got a makeover a while back and since that time they've done a180 turn around!! I've cut Safeway out, seldom go to other stores. My Food Lion is on point! Produce, meats, frozen foods, cakes/pies, etc. Seldom see shelves less than full. Staff FRIENDLY!! Plenty of open check out lines! Yep-5 STARS!!

I have always given this food Lion 5 stars. But they really have to do something about letting the insta-cart shoppers hold up the express lanes with multiple orders. They usually really fast in check out but this has to stop.

One on every corner in the area, a favorite of the locals as it seems.Food Lion, IDK, the name seems kinda cheesy, old-school & so 1970s to me (not that the 70's were cheesy), but I did find some very nice sales inside. Produce is fresh looking, I didn't taste them so I can't attest.After visiting this particular location several times, I did find them to be stocked with most items, except those Murray Butter Cookies, which must be a favorite of the locals because the 2 rows, where they were placed, were EMPTY.Very friendly & helpful staff. Quick check outs. Clean, non cluttered aisles. Ample parking. Baskets inside, which is a plus, as they aren't subjected to the elements, I dislike rain soaked baskets. Loyalty cards give discounts.Quick Important Note: No booze, not even beer (package liquor store here I come)

As far as Food Lions go, this is better than most. There is a decent selection. The staff are courteous and professional. The store is clean. I wouldnt go here for actual grocery shopping. However, to run in and get a few things, it's a good fit.

I absolutely love my neighborhood food lion.I have been living in the Marlton community for the last 10 years and food lion is the closest grocery store near my house. I have been coming here for years but I felt the need to write a review today because of my interaction with one of their deli employees. Anthony serviced me today while picking up my deli meat for the week. Although he was busy he took the time and patience with me to get things just right. In addition to his patience he also had extensive product knowledge, a warm smile and kind spirit to match. He represents what customer service should look like and should be commended.

lots of stock...but ghetto empmoyees. I felt like I walked into S.E. despite the location. The cashiers were great however. But one guy walked past me with headphones on, almost ignoring what I asked of him. Another employee smelled just like alcohol. Maybe because I'm pregnant I noticed the smell but it was crazy. One chick was selling individual cigarette outside to a crack head. And a guy right out front bagging...security didnt even ask him to move for soliciting. not what I expected in upper Marlboro. But the store was clean and fully stocked. lots of choices and lots of sales too

I 've shopped here when store operated 24/7, over 20yrs. The biggest gripe I had was poor produce& would simply drve further down 301 to Safeway. And even further to Giant.Safeway remodeled 1st and, I guess Food Lion realized the time had come & subsequently remodeled. Now, their produce is much more extensive. More checkout/registers were added, and store got a general, much needed, upgrade.As is the case with several of Marlton Plaza's businesses, e.g., Subway & Food Lion (as well as Safeway, BoJangel's, CVS, Dunkin Donuts -- So. Osbourne Rd.) have ALWAYS provided our area seniors, much needed, job opportunities & I've had the pleasure of watching many Frederick Douglas grads get their starts & have on-going careers with these businesses. And I'm happy these entities continue2 have their backs.

Iike their produce section, wish it was larger. Wanted ground beef, but price was really high. Had to go to Sams where it was not only $3.98 lb but also 93% fat free
