I’m going to just say it… This is the best ice cream I have EVER HAD! I found Rocky point creamery while on my way to Virginia and decided to stop in for a sweet treat. I was BLOWN AWAY by how delicious, creamy and customizable the ice cream was! I loved how big and spacious the interior is and the open parking lot with benches for relaxing outside. If you are passing through or even just looking for great ice cream, STOP HERE!

Yummy ice cream shop with friendly staff. We ordered a customized banana split - with cherry vanilla, chocolate marshmallow and strawberry. It was yummy, we loved it. Will with banana pudding flavor next time. The server was patient and helpful. They sometimes get busy and other times not so much. We will be back after the next hike or run.

Rocky Point had a really farm-like feeling to it. It was in the middle of meadows and the ice-cream tasted like Dairy Farm Ice cream(Really authentic). Really nice atmosphere outside if you like farms. Basically In short words.. Farm Based Icecream place. FUN FACT: they get there ice cream from cows THEY grow. The prices are also reliable. $5 for every ice-cream with a lot of compound flavors.

Dear Diary - I stopped here after visiting the area and I was not disappointed. Their ice cream is simply smooth and delicious! They have milkshakes and even frozen meats that you could purchase. I did also see a food truck that was stationed outside but did not try it. I definitely would like to journey out here again and try the other flavors they offer. I am not sure how often they rotate their flavors.

Visited for our second time, and we arrived at 6:15p. We had plenty of time to order and enjoyed sitting outside on their benches, while the kids played on the playground. Also found out they have a drive thru option which is great! We found out by a customer who stormed inside to tell the employees they had a long drive thru line, but didn’t realize they also had a long line inside. I’ve never seen someone over the age of a toddler so upset while waiting for ice cream. Just here to say that on top of delicious ice cream being the reason we visited, the ladies working crushed the evening rush!! 💪🏻10/10 would recommend!!

It's wild to see that this place has anything less than a 5 star rating, I live about 45 minutes away and still bring my daughter as often as I can. The staff has ALWAYS been friendly, and the ice cream has always been amazing albeit I do agree it's a little pricey, but that's what you get when the milk comes from the farm right behind the building and not from a corporation. My ONLY negative review about here is how muddy the the ground gets by the slides, alot of times we have to pass on playing.Parking: Gravel parking lot, numerous unmarked spaces.Kid-friendliness: The staff has been amazing and patient with my daughter (5yo) every time we've been in, offering tastes when she doesn't know what she wants, to always having a smile and actually talking to her like she's a person and asking her what she wants.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is gravel, front entrance has a double door that can be opened, everything is on 1 level.

Ice cream is fantastic since it comes right from the cows up the driveway. By far the best in northern VA/ Central MD. Prices are steep though when compared to other craft ice cream places, but forgivable when you try the sweet cream (it's worth a four hour drive just for that flavor). Skip the waffle bowls: everyone said the same: stale (it's been crazy humid lately). Portions, compared with a Bruster's, are about half that size so they could stand to give an extra scoop or two to be competitive. Milkshakes should be made with the hard ice cream instead of the standard 3-4 flavors of soft ice cream you can get anywhere. Flavors aren't very adventurous (about 15 varieties containing chocolate or variations on chocolate chip/ Rocky road and coffee). Would love to see flavors like key lime, teaberry, peach, peanut butter swirl, etc. that you find at most other creameries but I get they can't have everything on the menu at the same time (still, not being a chocolate fan I was disappointed). Staff are typical high school kids that don't really seem to care but are friendly enough though often goofing off in the back. Seating is plentiful inside (there should be a lot more outside, but might not be available this time of year), but it's bare bones decor.

Good ice cream but small serving sizes for the price. They even weigh it in front of you to make sure they don’t go above. Cheap!

Reasonable prices, good variety of flavors and tasty. Nice and creamy, love that they make their own ice cream. Shakes, sundaes, cones, cups and pints to go are all available. Take time to walk around and enjoy the outdoor space too. Kids will love sitting on the cow bench or tractor (not functional) that's out front.

What do you do when you are retired? Drive? That’s what we do. We decided to explore the area towards Point of Rocks, MD. As we were driving through the corn fields and horse farms, we started to smell the cows. As the cow smell grew stronger, we came upon a field of diary cows. Such beautiful scenery. Then coming over the crest of a hill, we saw a big red barn that only served ice cream, Rocky Point Creamery! What a pleasant surprise! We decided, what the heck - another dessert before lunch experience. All the ice creams are homemade, there are 80 flavors as well as other diary and meat products. If you are bored, this creamery is definitely worth the drive!

This is the place you go to when you want to reward yourself with the freshest, most flavorful, homemade ice cream with a massive helping of pleasant peace and quiet, all topped off with unmatched Americana. As a veteran, this... is worth fighting for! You all are the best and we can't wait to visit again!Demetrus and Alisha Sutton

Loved the ice cream! It was a great little trip out, beautiful views of the farm and the park is a lot of fun for kids to get some of the sugar they just ate out of their system. Very busy on the weekends but lines move quickly.

Delicious ice cream with a nice cheese/meat/eggs selection as well. There's a sunflower patch outside that is open to the public with a suggested donation to St. Jude, which is a cool idea. Would recommend!

This ice cream is awesome. Lots of flavors, and so yummy. It is well worth the drive. Every flavor our group had was excellent. They are busy, but they move that line fast.

Better experience this time around since the previous time was during covid. My ice cream was lemon sorbet and it was delicious. Also the staff was kind enough to allow clients to use their employee restroom due to overcrowding.

Stopped by on our motorcycle ride, to get ice cream and breath some smoke free air for a few minutes. Ice cream was delicious, service is fantastic, and my son tried out the tractor before we left....to breath more smoke from Canada!

Found this place while out for a relaxing chill drive. It was Friday so drive thru only but that was perfect because it was sunny but icy winds. They had lots of outdoor seating and an actual John Deere playground. I got Sweet Cream scoop and rest of family got Banana Splits. It was so good definitely worth the price. From the menu it looks like you can order farm meat and cheese too. Only downside on this Friday trip is no bathroom so we had to hit up the Exxon up the street. Not sure about bathroom options on other days. Liked that it was wide open peaceful place with no loud music or crowds. Even the few kids playing on the playground were quiet due to the open environment. That's a big plus for me as a lot of ice cream places are loud, crowded, and between the kids running all over and music, a little much for those of us with anxiety issues. Glad to have a new spot to enjoy delicious fresh ice cream and not have to risk a panic attack just standing in line. We will definitely be return customers. Plus the cow benches are super cute. 👌🏻

This place is so charming and the selection of really, really good ice cream is tremendous. So much parking and a place for the kids to play. Oh, and this is product that comes from a real working dairy farm that is right there (without the smell). The staff are friendly and the choice of cones and bowels is varied, but all good.Sit inside or out you have places to eat your treats and watch the kids play in the play zone.

Great flavors. Wish if the staff were a little more friendly and accommodating. Great parking space around the premises and there are few bells and whistles for children if you’re with family. Pistachio and banana pudding are my personal favorites

So far, on the Maryland ice cream trail, this is my favourite. It’s customer service area is ample enough for a large crowd, bright and clean. Little touches like mini cows keep the Little’s one entertained while the adults grab their frozen treat. They also have a nice sunflower field that makes a nice backdrop for portraits. Anyway, once there you need to try their caramel version is soooo creamy and yummy - personally, I need to take some home each time.

Very good ice cream! I'm completely addicted to chocolate ice cream but my husband got strawberry and I have to admit it was amazing! We loved walking thru the beautiful sunflowers as well. Just a lovely place with awesome homemade ice cream and very friendly staff. Can't wait to go back!

The ice cream was so good. So many different, unique flavors + the classics. Not to mention the beautiful sunflower garden for a good cause. Definitely worth the drive.P.S. if you're interested in donating and taking sunflowers, definitely bring a big bag/basket and something to cut the sunflowers with.

It is a fun destination for everyone. A brightly lit, colorful barn is the home of an ice cream parlor. They have many flavors or fresh made ice cream available for eating there or in containers for carry out. The ice cream is fabulous, and the service is fast & friendly. There is plenty of parking on a gravel lot with paved handicapped parking in front, and clean, individual restrooms. There is also a playground in back, tho we didn't get close enough to see it.
