Walgreens did not have my medication in stock. The pharmacist proceeded to say they will lose money if they order my medication..WHAT?.. I was patient the whole time, but never had i had a pharmacist state they have a line and need to get off the phone. He proceeded to say i insulted him. The pharmacist made me feel so uncomfortable. The 1 positive note is they picked up the phone immediately. Do better.

literally hung up on me? i was calling to check my prescription since it was a transfer from CVS and some dude says in literally one second while mumbling "thanks for calling plz hold" after id already been on hold for like 8 minutes, and then another 5 after that. then it starts making the connecting noise for like 2 mins straight, and then it just hangs up.

This pharmacy is terrible. Avoid coming here if you can! I waited nearly an hour for a simple flu vaccine and there were a long line of people waiting who had gotten there before me. What is the point of requiring appointments if you won’t honor them??? There is a terrible lack of staff. I currently see 3 staff members and 10 customers waiting to be serviced. There is no one working the vaccine center so I am still waiting…Don’t offer vaccinations if you have no one to give them!!!

Horrible service as always coming in here!!!! You willlllllll be disappointed! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They always have one person at the register to almost ten groups of people in line. Someone needing something in a department and they pass it off on the person still waiting on 5 people and when you tell them that they really been waiting they get mad! The young lady I dealt with had an attitude and I really been there waiting patiently but people kept coming in. I'm supposed to wait until later to come back ...???

Staff refused to help with using their photo terminal service, which led to significant delay (and ultimately failure) to get the photos printed. Staff attempted to physically (yes, physically) take phone from customer when the store was closing in order to get them to leave. Go pretty much anywhere else - this place is awful.

The bearded technician who consistently works the drive through window is terribly unhelpful. He won’t tell you who else has medicine in stock when he can see it. Unfortunate they don’t choose better staff.

The pharmacy is beyond disrespectful. I kindly asked for an emergency dose for my prescription since it would not be ready when I needed it. In the past, that has not been a problem. Instead, I was faced with a staff member who had an attitude and rudely told me they were understaffed and it’s not her problem and then hung up on me. I will no longer be getting my prescriptions filled at this establishment. Do not go here if you want a sensible pharmacist to meet your needs.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!!! The worst pharmacy experience I have EVER had before. Absolutely zero communication between doctor and pharmacy, and pharmacy to patient. Have caused me to go through SEVERE medication withdrawal because of their lack of time management skills & professionalism. A week ago they didn’t have my antidepressants for days. Today, I go to pick up my infection medicine and they just don’t carry the meds anymore but for whatever reason decided to not inform either me OR my doctor so now all doc offices are closed and I am left without NEEDED medication, AGAIN. I truly don’t know what’s going on at this pharmacy but I have never experienced this at any pharmacy before. Truly incompetent, inexperienced, and irresponsible people working here.

This pharmacy has such limited weekend hours that we will need to switch to the Walgreens at York and Ridgely. This pharmacy closes at 2 PM on Saturdays and is closed all day Sunday! This makes it difficult for people who work Monday through Friday to have their pharmacy needs met. I went in at 1:40 in a Saturday (not knowing their extremely limited hours) and the tech wouldnt even turn around although he was not doing anything so I called him over to say I had a question and he informed me they were closing in 10 minutes and wouldn’t be able to help me. I am pretty disappointed in this level of customer service. This used to be my favorite pharmacy so I don’t know what happened. I will not be going back.

Every time I come here, the pharmacy is closed. Here is a non-exhaustive list of establishments that do not shutter pointlessly in the middle of the day:- Gas stations- Restaurants- Lawn Care businesses- Libraries- Museums- The retail counter in the very same store- Painters- College admission offices- Pet stores- Hospitals- Accountants- Grocery stores- The post officeJust have someone there so you pick up a stapled envelope, please.

This is the worse pharmacy customer service I have ever experienced. Doctor called my meds in and they were not ready 6 hours later. I was told 30 more minutes. I returned next morning and they were not even started. I returned 4 hours later waited in line drive thru 20 minutes got to window and they closed shade! All the drivers were honking horn and yelling! I am now inside in line 15 minutes!

I have never been treated by pharmacy staff the way I was just now treated by the actual pharmacist. Waited on hold three different times for almost 10 minutes each time only to be hung up on. Called back to the store manager, was transferred and hung up on again. It finally took me calling in and the manager walking back for them to actually pick up. When the pharmacist picked up I asked her why it kept hanging up, she denied anyone hanging up and stated they're really busy. I asked her if that gave her and her staff reasoning to hang up on people and she hung up on me. So within an hour I was hung up on 5 times by this Walgreens. Ridiculous!

I put in a refill for a daily necessary prescription days ago. If I miss 1 day, I will begin to go through withdrawal. My prescription was not ready the day they said it would be, nor was it even ready the following day, leading me to go through withdrawal. This is absolutely unacceptable as it affects not only my health and livelihood, but also my career when I have to leave work because I’m throwing up and having cold sweats and dizzy spells. I am actively losing money because they couldn’t fill my prescription when they said they would; not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES. My husband had to leave work to pick it up because they said it would be ready when he got there, and it LITERALLY STILL WAS NOT READY and they told him to come back. When he returned? Still wasn’t ready. Absolutely fed up and livid.

Always have issues. Always. Been put on hold for over 15 minutes & then they hung up on me (multipletimes). Took 2 weeks to receive needed diabetic medicine. They said they were taking care of it but never did.They have argued with me, been rude & disrespectful. Definitely not good customer service.Multiple times they say they are calling provider for refill or insurance issue but never follow through.Take forever at the drive through for every car. Somwtimes 15 minutes. Are they disorganized? Or filling orders as they come?I keep staying with them because all of my medicine is with them but need to change.

Today, August 15, 2022 at 2: 50 pm. I found myself standing at the registers waiting to pay for my items as four cashier's/employees talked.As I counted to myself "One one thousand..... Two one thousand, one of the four ladies approached the register never stopping her coversation or acknowledging me. The woman never stopped talking ..... seven one thousand....... ten one thousand".I left my items on the counter and bought the same things at CVS across the street.Walgreens you must do better because I was a regular customer.

Way better than CVS To be honest!!!The Pharmacy works honestly and has really good discount policies. My prescriptions cost was reduced to $20 and was originally $42.99. My anual discount card which is not insurance is $20 a month! So I pay that once a year and my prescription without insurance is over 50 percent off ever time I get my refill which for me is every 3 months. I do not have Health insurance

Had antibiotics called in at 9am and still not ready at 2pm so I called and was on hold for ONE HOUR. I walked into the pharmacy while still on hold and there was no one in line and they hadn’t even filled my script yet. It was literally a box of prepackaged medication not even a bottle of pills. This pharmacy and ALL WALGREENS PHARMACIES SUCK

Rude! I cannot believe how the associate acted just now! Heather Chastain, if you’re still the manager, you have some training to do. I stood at the register and waited on someone to come. I had to walk through the store to find the gal to check me out.Then, I moved my items down to the register where where she was. She checked me out and I waited for her to say thank you or some thing. She never did. So, I said thank you. She had a very angry look on her face. She was not happy about helping me at all. I just don’t understand how people can treat customers this way. We all have bad days, but there is just a common courtesy that you must follow if you work in retail.

Pharmacy staff at this location is unbelievably unprofessional. They risked causing me to have a seizure as a direct result of their negligence today. They are happy to find any excuse NOT to help you and have no problem treating you like trash. At this pharmacy, a patient is an inconvenience. I asked to speak with a management about my interaction when requesting a refill because I couldn't believe the way the young man was speaking to me on the phone. A female calling herself "Joelle" came to the phone and declared that she was the pharmacy manager. She was more unprofessional and rude than the first person. I could see where he got the idea it was okay to speak to patients that way. The issue was with insurance. I explained that my insurance was current, valid and I would call them to resolve any confusion. But to please continue getting the prescription ready so I could pick it up as soon as it was resolved. They refused. Joelle said "because it is a controlled substance you must have insurance before we will begin to refill it." She told me there was "NO OPTION TO PAY OUT OF POCKET." I explained the medication I needed filled can cause me to go into seizure from withdraw, if I didn't get a refill in a timely manner. She responded "I KNOW". That's it. I immediately called my insurance company and resolved the issue in 10 minutes. When I called Walgreens back, Joelle answered the phone. She verified my insurance was in fact valid in their system and then said I could arrive in 20 minutes to pick up my prescription. That should have been the end of this story. When I arrived to pick up the prescription (25 minutes later) Joelle was not the pharmacy manager but another technician who pretended to be the manager on the phone. When I mentioned that I was there to pick up a prescription Joelle said "JESUS CHRIST, I'M NOT FINISHED GETTING YOUR PRESCRIPTION READY, HOLD ON." As she was refilling my prescription I took a moment to calmly discuss the issue with the actual Pharmacy manager, Chandra P. I asked Chandra the same thing my insurance company asked me. "Why wasn't I allowed to pay cash to pick up my prescription and let my insurance company reimburse me at a later date? The prescription releases a controlled substance, not the form of payment." Chandra was very professional and eagerly explained it was a policy specific to Walgreens. At this point Joelle was angrily pacing behind Chandra and audibly sighing while I was trying to have a private conversation with Chandra (at the consultation counter) for clarification on their policies. Joelle then inserted herself into the conversation to say I could have called my doctor and had them contact the pharmacy if I wanted to pay with cash. I explained to Joelle and Chandra that would have been very helpful information to have when I called originally instead of being told it wasn't an option, just to get me off the phone. Avoid the toxic atmosphere of this pharmacy. I would never trust these employees with anything health related and will never be returning to this location. Absolutely shameful.

This store is a little disorganized at times but in general I've never had a problem during a visit. Don't come here during a restocking unless you love unbridled pandemonium. In general this location usually has in stock the things you need which I can't say about CVS across the street.This Walgreens location generally has a very pleasant and helpful staff. This Walgreens has that unfinished exposed ceiling industrial look and the lighting is harsh like that of a big box store. The store is generally clean and uncluttered. The isles are wide enough for a wheelchair and there are no stupid displays sitting in the isles to hinder traffic.

Upon approaching the register there were no employees present and took a considerable amount of time for one to appear. Once she did, she had an attitude, like I was bothering her even though there were no other customers in the store. Once she finally came to the register she was rude and treated me like I was inconvniencing her! Not acceptable and it has only gotten worse since this Walgreens has opened!!!

Today, my doctor went to put in a new script for my ADHD meds. I called three pharmacies, none had them in stock. They told me outright, either they did not have it in stock OR they could not get it at all from their wholesale pharmacies.I then called this specific Walgreens. The pharmacist first asked me if I was a patient and where I was from. I said yes, and that I am from Towson. She then said she could NOT tell me if that medication was in stock, accusing me of potentially being a "violent robber" (her words, not mine).I'm extremely hurt. I have been on ADHD medications for YEARS. I have never been treated this poorly at any other pharmacy. It's asinine to me that THREE other pharmacies could tell me straight-up whether or not they have the medication in stock. They assumed (correctly) that I am a patient needing medication for an illness, rather than assuming I'm a "violent robber."

Not my home Walgreens, but stopped in here on the way back from the gym. The cashier was so friendly. She helped me find ear plugs and she engaged my kids in conversation. My daughter told her we were about to go on vacation and the cashier told her we have to come back and show her pictures. She said her name is K. I will definitely stop in there again.

I had very rude experience with a cashier after my online order wasn’t fulfilled. I went through the trouble of filling the order, she said there was nothing she could do and refuse to give me any assistance. She also didn’t have a name tag on, didn’t want to provide customer cares number, and refuse to give me her name. DONT SUPPORT PLACES THAT DONT VALUE YOU AS A CUSTOMER!!!

I just wanted to thank the young woman who was working around 9pm either Tuesday or Wednesday night (June 1 or 2). A man had followed me into the store after asking if I could buy him something, which I did not respond to, but kept walking. I mouthed to her to help me which she so willingly did, and I was able to exit the store. Idk who you are but I just wanted to say that I appreciate you and thank you!

This pharmacy frequently will tell me my prescription is out of stock, and they are ordering more, and then just delete my prescription without ever filling it a week later, and not even bother telling me. What a joke.
