Insane mismanagement.Insane checkout lines even at off peak times. Not one single lane attended - only self checkout.Not one single cart or basket available - and it’s raining out, so if you want to grab one yourself, every item you put in it will be soaked.

Place has no effective management, no carts at 10am why? lack of employees? only (2) registers open with lines - self checkout closed down due to open checkout shoplifting…. Hire a police officer up front, get cameras in place (in and out) hire proper staffing and get decently trained management in here to take control.A Target location that one is best to avoid.

This store is the WORST!!! On two separate occasions the lines were astronomical. Friday evening the line went back to the to cosmetic aisle. This evening the line wasn’t as long when I got in it however, the self check out was closed. There were a few registers open and the lines were growing. We were told anyone with 10 items or less could go to customer service to checkout so of course the line grew at customer service. The second consumer in line however had well over 10 items, I’d say closer to 20+ and the cashier continued to ring up the consumer. This made me and those directly behind me annoyed because of the 3-4 items we all had. Coming from being a former cashier, I would have made them go back and get in another line. Yes I know we’re post Covid and everything and everybody wants to go electronic/self service however, physical employees are still needed especially if your self checkout is CLOSED.Not to happy with the last two experiences.

Has everything but can get messy. This is larger than some other Targets in Baltimore, but it’s always a mess. It seems like they have a decent amount of people stocking things, though. The makeup and beauty section is very nice, recently redone and has a lot of options. There’s a big selection of clothing for every group, too.

Carlos is the worst manager I’ve ever come across in my life! I had an issue with a gift card that I purchased from there. He shunned me, rolled his eyes, and told me he was done with me as he walked off while I was talking. His staff that was around laughed and followed him to the back as continued to talk about me. I’ve never experienced such disrespect from a so called leader! Where did good customer service go!? I’m done with Target! This one is ghetto af!

The number of times my husband and I have walked in and immediately walked out because the check out line extends all the way to the grocery section.Dozens of carts of returned items blocking the front of the store too, no baskets in sight, empty shelves, etc.It’s a college city store, surely they bring in enough profit to hire more than one cashier an hour. This is the most disorganized, understaffed, and stressful Target I’ve been to.

Worst managed target in the tri state area.I don’t think in the last year I have ever been able to get a shopping cart or basket. Even on a random Tuesday afternoon it’s a mess.It’s either mismanaged on a store level or the district manager does not know what they’re doing.Self check out is 10 items or less but there are no other check out lanes open. So if you need to buy more than 10 items, you kinda can’t. I love it though, down with corporate greed.

Did a drive up order and my spouse went to pick up; he waited over 25 minutes for someone to bring the order out. No one ever came. I went into the app to try and cancel the order since it would be easier at that point to just go in the store and grab the items off the shelf, and the app wouldn’t let me cancel the order. Tried calling in to the store (since I wasn’t there in person) to tell them to cancel the order, and was hung up on every time I tried to get to customer service. Also got hung up on at every other extension I tried. Not sure what’s going on there today but this was the worst shopping experience I’ve had at Target.

One person working drive up with 20 cars waiting. Been waiting for 30 minutes and counting. I understand drive up is a privilege, but don't offer it if you can't let customers know they'll wait an hour.

I shop at a lot of different local Targets - this one is the worst. Avoid it if you can. They will literally only have one register open at peak times, and there is always an absurdly long line. Their employees can be rude, too - when I pointed out to two of them that there were no carts or baskets left by the entrance but that I needed one, they actually just stood there and said, "Sorry, we can't help you." What kind of customer service is that???

The WORST Target. It’s gone downhill so much in the past years. The store is a mess, always disorganized, nothing is ever stocked, stuff everywhere it doesn’t belong. 10am and 2 registers open with lines 15 people deep and the self check closed completely.Pickup is a pain, they take 20+ minutes to bring your groceries out to your car even when it’s not busy. They are not properly staffed at all!

This store has turned into pure trash. I can’t bring myself to go in anymore because there’s never a cart available, the store is always a disaster, and the employees are rude. But drive up is a dumpster fire now too. The last two times I placed a drive up order, I waited for over 30 min. If you try to call the store, the call immediately disconnects when you select guest services. And if you complain online, they basically just say sorry and they’ll pass it on. This company used to be so much better than Walmart, now I really don’t see any discernible difference.

Angel, the customer representative at this Towson store was amazing! I stopped in for some Beyond Meat and she directed me to the location where I could find it. This plant based meat seems to fly off the shelfs and there was none to be found even though the target app said that it was in stock. I went back over to Angel and she was kind enough to go to the back and search for the meat for me. I really appreciated her taking the time to do that. She ensured that I had a good customer experience. Kudos to Angel for her excellent service!

Understaffed and slow. One person working order pickup; both times I did a pick up I waited around 30 minutes. Never any carts inside, you have to grab them in the parking lot. Always a line for self checkout but only 1 or 2 registers are ever open. Only 1 person at customer service no matter how busy/ what day of the week. I try to avoid this location if I can.

7 pm on a Thursday night. All self checkouts 10 items or less. There is 1 normal checkout open. A line like this is absolutely avoidable with staffing.Did I mention 1/2 the self checkouts are down?Update: 2 months later, same issue! If you're in a rush, DO NOT visit this store.

In my opinion, this is the worst Target out of the ones in the area. It’s 8am on a Friday and there are no carts inside and the store is a huge mess. They should have signs saying you need to bring a cart. This is the case about 75% of the time that I come to this location.

Severely understaffed, and with the Walmart closing in the same shopping center it’s going to get even worse as those shoppers come to target.Always a line, usually self checkout only, never any carts, they just changed pickup from 2 hour wait to 6 hour and when you do drive up they have one teen working so it takes like 30 minutes.Please actually hire some more staff, I am sure you can afford it.

This Target has seriously gone downhill in the last few years. There's never enough cashiers, carts, or baskets. Now that self checkout is 10 items or less, the line for the cashiers can take so long that sometimesI've abandoned my cart of groceries and gone to the Weis nextdoor. I'll probably just do all my shopping at Weis from now on.

Always horribly stocked and incredibly messy shelves wherever you look. No wonder the inventory is off always. I come here in hopes of finding things and will check weekly for them to restock only to have to go to the Timonium store because they restock their products.Had hoped that after the renovation they would get a little more organized but no such luck

Drive Up attendants dont understand that they can use the three tier carts to bring items out instead of manhandling 10 bags at a time, so it takes over 30 minutes to get your items.Edit: Over an hour to get your items. Better off just going inside.

Using the drive up pickup option is almost unusable at this location. Even when not busy, you can go 10+ minutes without seeing anyone bringing things out. Typically spend 20+ minutes waiting to have items brought out on average.

Update 28 Mar 21:Avoid! No parking! Just when I thought this location could not possibly get worse, they have managed to block half, HALF, of the parking lot with shipping containers. Worse, they managed to block the parking lot in such a way that every parking isle is restricted to one way traffic. Who runs this operation? Does management actually leave their office?This has to be the worst Target in the area. See my pics. This was pre-covid. The shelves are constantly empty of routine basics. I am not sure when they restock shelves. The employees here do not seem particular interested in actually doing anything. The narrow aisles are frequently blocked by carts full of supplies that have been abandoned by the people who should be restocking. This store just happens to be the closest Target to me. I make an effort to go to other Target stores whenever possible.

This location is the worse for Shipt shoppers. Not only are the employees unprofessional and inconsistent with the shopper process they are rude, crass, and not understanding how they're hired. Noah is the manager of this location and he need to head the shipt shopper experience because it's horrible. Every other day we're turned around on which lines to go to and standing in return line when all they have to do is load a device and scan a barcode. They should take some advice from the Owings Mills and Pikesville locationsbecause they really are bad here. We are penalized for Noah's bad business practices. Shameful.

This is literally one of the worst stores I have been to. The checkout lines are ALWAYS long and barely any registers are open. The inventory is picked over, disorganized and chaotic. I went in today with my daughter to find zero carts, they were all in the parking lot. Unfortunate that the store is in this condition even after the renovation.

I read about the reviews on here concerning this location in Towson. There was a time when it was a DECENT place. You can say it became subjected to a victimization when the Mondawmin Mall location Target closed... it seemed THEY gravitated towards Towson.The main problem seems to be the clientele from below the city confines. Yes, I've seen lazy employees at big box stores constantly checking phones & talking instead of earning their pay, Yes, entry level jobs don't pay much, but last time I remember Target doesn't require college degrees to work in their stores!!Summary... the junk who frequent these stores trash up the place because they don't care, but the employees (most of them do) do their jobs and get frustrated keeping up with ppl junking up the store. Moral.. don't poop where you eat!!I'm granting 4 stars but it's not the store's fault!!

They really should expand self check out with more registers since it’s only 10 items or less but also the lines are ALWAYS ridiculous standing in line to check out for 20-30 mins. The aisles look like nobody works here… which doesn’t make since because they never hire people, they turn people down over qualified and all and there are many people that need jobs but it’s probably because Maryland locations pay next to nothing anyways… with long ssa lines I wouldn’t want to deal with negative attitudes for no money either! This used to be a replacement staple of Walmart but now I’d leave the state to shop on god
