This was an ok shopping experience. The store was well stocked. The few cashiers they had were helpful and seemed to know what they were doing. I was there with my 80-Something mother looking for special occasion clothes for her. She can walk fine but gets tired and starts to get back pain if she is on her feet for an extended period of time. When in a large store, having a shopping cart to lean on helps her a lot and allows her to be on her feet for a lot longer before she has to sit down. Macy's has no carts. I asked one sales associate in the ladies' department and she directed me downstairs to the Backstage department where she thought they had some. The sales associate down there was curt with me and said Macy's has never had carts. Anyway, maybe Macy's should reconsider its no shopping carts policy if they want to keep their aging Baby Boomers coming to their stores. We did find a good place for Mom to sit where I ferried various clothing selections to her for consideration, but this was less than ideal. My mom purchased only a fraction of the items she was hoping to get that day because her back started hurting and we had to leave.

The Macy's associates are very nice and friendly. However, the selections in the women and men's departments are limited compared to stores I visited in NY, FL, and MA. A plus is the Backstage department. I found some great deals.

Went prom shopping for my son today and the gentleman who help us was amazing not only attending us but giving 6 other people same nice professional care HE NEEDS A RAISE 👏🏻( I wish I would have got the gentlemen name he works in the men suit department glasses older gentleman.)

My boyfriend and I came here a few weeks ago and we had great experience while here, we were browsing around in the fragrance section and the one lady that was working the fragrance are was very helpful when it came to letting us smell the different fragrances and offering some suggestions on some of the fragrances. The store as a whole was very nice and they had a great selection of things with a lot of sales and stuff too. Will definitely be back again.

I needed to get an anniversary gift for my wife and MACY'S came through with just the right item to make my day. Thank you MACY'S. The salesperson helped by providing a variety of items for me to choose from and gave me the woman's point of view to help me decide which to choose the best gift.

This Macy's had a good layout, but, I they seem to have a staff shortage. I rarely ever can find someone whom is willing to come from behind the counter to help me in the men's clothing area. I do like that the Ralph Lauren section includes a B&T section. But, one time, I went to try on some clothes in yhe fitting room; I was in the middle of looking at the mirror, when the door to my space popped open. It was one of the workers. She just said, "Oh" and shut the door. No apology, no explanation, nothing. I felt some kind of way and decided to put the items I tried on on the racks. I got out of there. I've been back since, but, I will never forget that that happened.

I haven’t been to Macy’s in YEARS! This particular trip was to exchange/return this beautiful coat that was to big for me. The store was very clean. The line was long but they had enough workers whereas I was only in line for maybe 5 minutes. Great experience as I HATE shopping due to the amount of people and the long waits.

I hadn’t shopped in Macy’s for a long time. Got tired of going to the mall, not finding parking, searching for a salesperson, only to have that person be unhelpful, plus forgetting my coupons and missing out on sales... BUT this time was great! The Towson mall has a new parking system showing open spots, sales staff in Macy’s were everywhere, extremely helpful and nice, great selection of merchandise to choose from and a new computer system that gave me instant discounts and cash back to continue shopping same day or use up to one month from today. Great experience!

Large store with lots and lots of goodies catering to all ages and genders. Macy's has the latest fashion brands on Women's and Men's Clothing, Accessories, Jewelry, Beauty, Shoes, perfumes. Backstage offers discounted items at clearance prices and one could still find designer items here at affordable prices. Great place to pick out gifts too.

Absolute horrible service….The customer service staff are extremely nice! But your Managment of Return Policy is terrible. I received the wrong items.4 You have to wait days in order to get a response. Your operators don’t give out Return Labels! They send out a return policy email that has a virus!! WHICH NO ONE SHOULD OPEN!!! The company should be able to just send a label for someone who’s *physically disabled. HAS *TBI AND CANT DRIVE. Theire Bussiness phone communication is terrible! This is all basic information and is very frustrating for the person who’s disabled.

This is the 3rd time that I have come into the cosmetic department and experienced dehumanizing, racially bias treatment and lack of servant leadership from the same Macy’s cosmetic clerk and store managers (George and female manager). I attempted to reach store manager on card provided, however, the extension line disconnects.My experience was so traumatic that I could not stomach the purchase. So, returned my items and received excellent customer service at Sephora. Huge shout out to the Sephora Store who treats all customers with courtesy, dignity and in a humane way!

I've had a great experience with service of associates in the home, furniture, mens and Finish Line departments. They are always helpful. Only issue is lines can be long and slow.Update for 2024: store is very dirty, broken escalators, messy

This location has changed in a drab way. There weren't as many brands on the 1st level. Where did all the everyday costume jewelry go? Maybe some other brands were on the lower level. The shoe department is ugly; doesn't pull you in to browse/buy. Needs updating. Guess I'll have to drive to Delaware or Annapolis for the arrival of their wonderful Fall inventory. Love it every year. Get there!! Never going back to the Towson location.
