Stay away from the bakery department in this one. They do terrible work, and the lady behind the counter will talk trash to you to the other customers if you complain about their terrible work. They even spelled my sons name wrong on his cake.

I get my I don’t deliver from the store from time to time I get a bad product like rotten strawberries missing items on top of it. Delivery will be delayed in some cases so that means your food is sitting an opening for two hours and they want that food to be delivered to you hot water, a lot of fish that means that food is contaminated, they have not sent me no emails or give me a phone call I had to call up there myself and was told my items was just sitting there and they haven’t called no one to pick it up. That was an hour after my delivery supposed to have been delivered they offer me $15. I told him to keep it and cancel my order.

I left my iPhone at the register in Giants (Loch Raven). I did not realize my phone was left behind until I arrived home. Upon returned I spoke with Amariah (assigned to register area); she turned my phone over to Customer Service. Amariah, I want to acknowledge your good deed and encourage your positive action. Really enjoyed the updates throughout the store. Thank you Mrs. LAZAIR for the great customer service and assistance. Such a beautiful name. I liked the fresh fruit refrigerator as soon as you walk in.There is a red box movie machine, coin machine for your loose change, bagged ice, refill water jugs, carpet cleaner station, a mini PNC bank section and an atm.The entire store has been renovated nicely with self checkout, customer service area, pharmacy, and regular checkout lanes.I met another customer who advised other store locations have a sale bar and that would be something great to implement inside this location.

I find that certain chains doesn't carry all the items and most of the items aren't on sale either but the quaility is great.The meats are always fresh and the produce are ok too.So thank you for the cornbread it was a hit with me and mom.

Love the store. I'm there usually 2-3 times a week. However, today I waited in line at the deli for more than 25 minutes with 5 other people while there were exactly 5 people in the deli doing everything except acknowledging us, the customers. Not a hello, not a one moment, nothing. So a few of us left. And I went to sprouts and paid more money. But great customer service and being treated like a human is priceless. And 24 donuts for all day is just ridiculous. And you don't make any backups. How much money is being lost here? There's just so much wrong and nothing being done.

I ordered a two layer, 1/4 sheet, strawberry shortcake for our daughter’s 45th birthday. I requested that the cake message be, ‘Happy Birthday, Catwoman’ because that is the name our grandchildren gave to their favorite Aunt. My husband picked up the cake and met me at the restaurant before the rest of the family arrived. I opened the top of the box to put on the Catwoman figure and 45 candles. The top of the cake had 6 huge strawberries and red scrolling along its perimeter. It was beautiful, but I was a bit disappointed that the message was missing. I was certainly wrong about that! When our waiter brought the cake out, we all saw that Alyssa, the cake decorator, had written out, ‘Happy Birthday, Catwoman’ on the two long sides of the cake and ‘Happy Birthday’ on the two shorter cake sides, complete with a drawing of a cat! It was awesome! I spoke to Robin, the bakery manager to find out who decorated the cake and to tell her what a great job Alyssa had done on it.So, thank you Robin for having such a talented staff, and thank you very much Alyssa for doing such a fabulous job on our daughter’s cake, which only added to the cerebration!

This location used to be very well ran. The last 3-4 months the lines are never open on peak days such as every weekend, game days, holidays and evenings. The cashiers move like turtles, they have poor attitudes, they often don’t have purchasable 99cent bags, most of the cashiers are ghetto and will converse about whatever right in your face. The managers will watch the lines but not jump in to help them out. You’ll wait in line to just check out for 30-40 mins. Seems understaffed and underpaid and don’t get me started on deli……… they’re rude, they act like your bothering them and they’re slow 25 mins wait and then some…. We visit here multiple times in a week, never understand

I shop at this Giant occasionally. The store is very clean but the staff appear to be stressed at times. Am hoping they are being acknowledged for their good deeds. A kind word goes far!

If someone from management reads this, please give Dee (the cashier) a break or time off. She is miserable. She huffed and puffed about working the whole time she rung me up. She was very upset people weren’t bringing there own bags. I felt very uncomfortable. I explained that I wasn’t planning on grocery shopping so I didn’t bring my bags but… why is it such a concern to her? I have no problem paid in .05 a bag. Yeah. Won’t be shopping at this Giant again.

Stopped at the Deli Counter. 3 people behind the counter only 1 taking customers, couple people in line. Asked for help and informed that the menial task the others were doing held priority over servicing the customer. unfortunately, this is parr for this counter.

Enjoy shopping here. However, today I bought this chicken to cook pho. It hasn't passed its expired date, but when I tried to get the meat out of its bone, the bone is all black. Terrible. I think it's wasteful to throw it away, and the chicken still look eatable, so I still tried to eat it, but it smells terrible. I don't want to throw them all away, but I can't handle the awful smell. I'm still waiting until the end of day to see if I have a stomachache, but ofc I will not buy this chicken ever again.

This grocery store is really sad. On a Saturday afternoon, this Giant had only 2 cashiers and the self-check-out. The line for self-checkout almost reached the rear of the store and and the cashiers lines almost reached the rear of the aisle. After seeing how long the self checkout was I decided to go to a cashier line, surly they see how long the lines were and would move rapidly. MISTAKE. The cashier I had was Ashley, she is literally scanning so slow customers in the line kept looking up trying to figure out why the line wasn't moving. It was because Ashley was scanning like she had nothing but time to kill. As she is scanning items, she keeps checking her nails, I guess to make sure she didn't break one doing her job. I am a patient person but this was ridiculous, I actually asked a woman to hold my spot and went to customer services and asked why isn't more staff with this huge crowd she claimed they had a lot of callouts, well it's either that or Giant is cutting cost in staff at the expense and time of their customers. I believe it's the latter, on many previous occasions I have literally walked in this Giant and walked back out due to extensive lines. When I finally did get to the cashier, the customer behind me asked Ashley was she new? Her Figuring that's why the line was so slow. Ashley's response "not really" Ashley had to keep ringing the bell for help, it would take about 5-7 minutes for support. This was done at least 6 times while I was in line combined with the 5-7 second delay scanning, I was in line almost an hour. Never again. With the high prices in this store you would think Giant would compensate with some quality service. It literally look like just herds of people waiting to be fed. Take your chances if you so choose but today was the last time I will step in that store. Shame on you Giant.

Store is definitely heavily utilized by the community. Conveniently located next to loch raven village. Usually has everything I need and more! Not quite sure why they pay for security as the "officer" just sits down on the ledge by the window or stands by the door trying to remain awake. May get better use out of the security if they actually could enforce the no parking outfront and make people move their cars as this causes major congestion in the parking lot during peak times. Seafood display case always looks bare and usually long lines of people waiting for someone to assist them in that department. The bakery and deli departments seem to be staffed appropriately.

The very worst experience I’ve had as far as “jobs” go. For one they’ll have you on hold for HOURS and never will call you back. Two most too all the employees are lazy and don’t want too help. And third they have horrible attitudes. I swear I’ve talked too at least one person in every department and nobody knows what they’re doing. The unprofessional staff here not only made me resend my application but furthermore, made me not even want too shop their. I’ve been working for 10 years+ and this by far was the worst possible job choice that I’ve could have picked.

I went to the store on Loch Raven and was searching for an item that I could only describe. There was this worker named Joe that I asked for help. He went through the entire store just to help me find that one item. Although they didn’t have it, I had to write a review because I was so amazed by interest he put out. He even went to find Chris, another worker, to help. Guys, you are the best! Great customer service, great manners! We appreciate you. You really make a difference!

I did my first one at loch Raven Giant. I guess when I got there it was late for pick up although I was there at 3:45 and it was supposed to be picked up between three and four window. I don’t know because this was my first experience. When I parked in the spot, no one came out so I went into the store to customer service and they called someone upfront for me and then they told me to go back and sit in my car and ask where I was sitting and said they would try to find my order. Within 10 minutes they were out with my order and they were two people with it. I tipped them both and went about my way, all was pleasant. They’re worth several things wrong with my order. Once I went through my groceries,this is what we actually received:PLEASE NOTE-I Called GIANT customer service & was given credit of anything short or shortages!!) yes, I will do it again!1.B2G1-ordered 2reg &1 diet Canada Dry GALE SoDA-*OOS Diet so we did not get our free 12 pack. I would have appreciate it if they were to have either thrown in another pack of regular ginger ale or credited me for one of the 12 pack!!!!!! bananas were green. I thought they might ripen, but they never did. That was a waste of whatever they cost. I definitely think it is good if you’re in a hurry and you can find a time slot that works for you. My first original choice was Giant on York Road, because they carry more items but I do think York Road Giant @ 6000 block of York Rd.,below Towson University.

Giant's is one of my favorite grocery stores.to some they may say that their prices are too high but to some they'll say that the food is the freshest. And for me as long as the food is fresh then I'm fine. I can always find the brand of food that I like and the Giant brand food is just as good as the Brand name foods. One of the best features Giant has is self checkout. It helps out when your going in for a few items. You can just walk in and grab your things check yourself out and be out the door. Giants also have a savings card that actually save you money. Money you can actually see make a difference in the total.so if your in the Baltimore Baltimore county area shop Giants they have an excellent Seafood department and they sell premium meats. The produce area is nice and clean and the fruits are always fresh. Check it out and see for yourself. Let me know how you like it. ✌️

The workers are friendly and helpful. The parking lot is dirty and un kept In my opinion. There are always people outside of the store begging for money. I shop here often. Prices are a bit lower than the Weis store near by and they have very good produce and a nice salad bar for a quick lunch.

There are a handful of dedicated workers who have gone out of their way to help their customers. However, if you're concerned about your safety, you may wish to shop elsewhere, as a few of their other staff members seem to be out of touch on how to handle individuals who have posed threats, and have harassed their customers in the store. As for me, I will never, ever shop here again!
